JOKES ASIDE this is actually sad because I am sure he really just did pick up every summon dog he could until he was on the edge of his chakra resources. Like none of his summons are from breeds meant to fight except for maybe Akino, Uuhei and Bull.

He already had all of his eight dogs while he was tracking Orochimaru and he was ~14 at this point which means he had chosen all his summons while being a literal child. Which also means he acted like a normal child picking random animals on street and taking them home except that he didn’t have parents who are usually against this behaviour :( fuuuck imma cry on this hill

Night. Sakura works in her office in silence. Fills out paperwork. A knock on the door. She is surprised and goes to open it. Opening the door, she is surprised.

- Good evening, Kakashi sensei. What brings you here so late at night?

Indeed, Kakashi is at the threshold. He smiles back.

- Good evening, Sakura. I'm afraid I'll have to ask you for help.

Sakura notices signs of a struggle on Kakashi's body.

- Of course, sensei, come in.

Kakashi enters the room. It is an office in semi-darkness.

- Why are you here so late?

- *Sakura, smiling lightly, continuing to walk in front* A lot of work, you know. Annual update of shinobi cards, checking the data.

- I see.

They walk to a chair and a couch. Sakura sits down on the chair, Kakashi stands in front of her. She looks up at him, as if to say, show me. Kakashi takes off his vest, lifts his turtleneck. His stomach is covered in abrasions and fresh wounds, scars. Sakura is a little surprised, but then softens

- You have so many scars, sensei... what happened to you?

- I just got back from a mission, decided to stop by right away.

- You could have gone to the city hospital... But you came to me.

Saying all this, Sakura looks at Kakashi's wounds and treats them. A short pause.
