Could I uh... Could I maybe request a fic where Peter gets into a car crash somehow, maybe the car rolls and he's caught by the steering wheel and his seat belt hanging upside down with a concussion, and it takes a while for the authorities or any medical personnel to get there because it's, like, 3 am on a rural road coming back from the Avengers Compound, but Tony comes to the rescue? Idk, maybe that's really specific...
I’m not officially taking part in Sickdays 6, but one of the prompts inspired me to write this request, so let’s just go ahead and call it my fill for day 4 (“Oh god”).

Hot
Fandom: The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited
Characters: Haru Katou, Daisuke Kambe, Shinnosuke Kamei
Notes: There is a fire in this bad boy, and breathing problems. I loved writing this lmao.
“You ready to go in?” Haru asked as he removed his seatbelt, preparing to get out of the car.
“Mhm.” Daisuke hummed as he stepped out of the car.
“I can’t believe there’s another drug party going on,” Shinnosuke added, and Haru shrugged a bit in response,
“Crimes are everywhere, as the police it’s our job to not stop until justice is served.”
“Nice speech,” Shinnosuke said with a small laugh before the three of them proceeded into the building. The mission wasn’t too difficult the three of them would go inside, gather as much evidence as they could set traps and get the evil doers out of there and make sure justice was served. It sounded a bit complicated in theory, but when set into action it was something Haru knew by heart.
The mission was going swimmingly, the three of them were in different parts of the room getting different bits and pieces of information from different guests, until the room suddenly went silent before the room was filled with screaming and terror.
“Fire!” Someone shouted as Haru looked over and noticed the growing fire, he grabbed his coworker’s arm and quickly got him out of the building before stopping and leaning against his car trying to catch his breath.
“Holy shit,” He mumbled before looking at Shinnosuke,” What happened? Did you see?”
“I think someone realized who we were, so they must’ve lit a cigarette and thrown it onto the carpet – or tipped over one of the candles.”
“That sounds stupid,” Haru said with a sigh before freezing.
Haru felt his heart drop as he realized that Daisuke was still inside of the building. He couldn’t just stand there and not help him. So, he ran towards the building with Shinnosuke shouting for him to come back. Haru stopped turning on his heel to quickly shout back,
“I can’t just let Kanbe burn down with this building! I’m going in to save him!” Haru said and before anyone else could try and stop him he ran into the building, feeling warmth growing all around him. As he got deeper into the building smoke began to pour in everywhere around him. It hot. Hot and heavy. All he could think about was how the smoke hurt his lungs when he breathed in and how it made his eyes burn.
When in a fire remember to remain low as to avoid as much smoke as possible.
Haru allowed himself to drop down to the ground, staying as low as possible as he searched for Daisuke, his heart beating faster with every passing second beginning to fear for the worse. He could barely hear anything above the roaring flames
“Kanbe!” He called out and stopped waiting for an answer, but he got none. “Kanbe!” He shouted again feeling his heart rate speed up to the point it felt like it may pump straight out of his chest,” Daisuke! Where are you?” He cried out, squinting his eyes as he stood back up walking to the nearest door.
Place the back of your hand to the door to check for the temperature inside the room you want to enter.
Haru placed his hand on the door for a mere three seconds before removing it and swinging the door open his face getting hit with a blast of smoke and heat.
Hot.
Hot.
It was way too hot.
“Daisuke!” He called out a final time beginning to lose hope. Beginning to wonder if he would even find Daisuke or if the search was useless. Maybe Daisuke got out, maybe –
“Katou?” He heard a weak voice from the back of the room and perked up a bit.
He found Daisuke.
Well, he heard Daisuke but that was enough for a wave of relief to rush over him.
He squinted his eyes doing his best to see through all the smoke, nearly tripping on some of the pieces of the building that had fallen on the ground, shoving some of the rummage away to get to Daisuke. He took a deep breath in without thinking and was smacked in the face with a harsh coughing fit, “God damn it...” He mumbled to himself, then took the best look he could at Daisuke and realized that he was barely conscious, and his skin appeared to be pale.
With lack of proper oxygen someone’s skin may go pale to a bluish then to cherry red.
‘Alright…This is fine.’ Haru told himself. As he squatted down next to the shorter man and gathered him up in his arms before proceeding to run towards the exit. He heard the building crashing down all around him as he ran down the staircase towards the main entrance.
“Medical help over here!” Haru called out as he finally got out of the building and soon enough, he was surrounded by a med team who took Daisuke out of his arms and away.
“Katou!” He heard Shinnosuke call out,” What were you doing? You could’ve died!”
“Kamei. He could’ve died if I didn’t go in,” Haru calmly said back, before bringing his arm up to cougher his mouth as he began coughing. His head felt as though it was filled with cotton and his heart rate was steadily going back down to a decent rate.
“But--…You truly are selfless, aren’t you?” He heard Shinnosuke ask before slowly blinking once. Then twice.
Then the world went dark.
--------
When he woke up next, he was in the hospital all by himself. He sighed, trying to recall the events before he passed out. When nothing more than a blur came to mind, he groaned and laid his head back against the oddly soft pillow.
“Oh, you’re finally awake.” He heard a voice which made him jump,
“God damn it, Kamei.”
“You know what you did was incredibly stupid right,” Shinnosuke asked and Haru did a small shrug in response,
“I just did what I thought was right.”
“Alright, well…I heard that when you’re released Kanbe wants to talk with you,” Shinnosuke stood up and looked back at Haru,” Good luck.”
--------
“Kanbe.” Haru said as he approached the other man,” What was it you wanted to see me about?”
“Thank you for saving me.” He told Haru, and Haru felt his face heat up as he looked away from Daisuke,
“It was the right thing to do so of course it’s what I went with.”
“Even so, how much money do I owe you?”
“Money?” Haru asked,
“Yes?”
“I don’t want your money.” Haru told him.
“Then how will I repay you?”
“Maybe take some of my advice on how to properly be a cop,” Haru said with a small shrug before turning on his heel and walking back inside.

Does anybody else get legitimately worried when a fanfic author who was updating regularly just suddenly disappears with no warning? Like, is it a serious case of writers block or are they in a coma? Did they just up and quit? Was it me? Were my reviews not good enough?! Did they die 😳?! Were they kidnapped? Do I need to file a missing persons report? Excuse me officer, there’s been 13 weekly updates and now nothing for months! Find them! What’s their name?! Name!? I don’t know their name but they write 3k+ chapters and I need them safe and back in my life!

Fandom: The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited
Characters: Haru Katou, Daisuke Kambe
Trigger Warnings: N/A
“You look like shit.” Haru suddenly stated bluntly as the two of them sat in the car preparing for a stakeout.
“You aren’t too pleasing to the eye either.” Daisuke retorted before coughing into his fist and looking out the window a small smirk forming on his face, “But unlike some people I’m willing to admit when I’m unwell.” Haru snarled in response before leaning back in the seat and sighing.
“Well like you asked me, why would you come to work instead of just staying home?” Daisuke shrugged a bit in response before he dropped the smirk.
“I suppose we do have something in common,” Daisuke then commented and looked over at Haru,” We would both rather work than just stay home ill.”
“Crime doesn’t just stop because you’re sick,” Haru said with a small shrug, “But seriously don’t overwork yourself. I can’t be liable if you die.” Daisuke gave a nod in response before opening the door and stepping out of the car.
The job was exhausting. It lasted what felt like ages but was most likely closer to being 12 hours. Of course, this was a job the two of them could easily handle on a normal day, but they were slowed down by Daisuke’s constant need to stop to have a coughing fit that made Haru’s throat burn in sympathy. When everything was over it looked as though he would pass out any moment.
“Kanbe?” Haru asked as he noticed Daisuke’s eyes flutter and within the next few moments the younger man began to fall back. Haru was quick on his feet rushing to Daisuke’s side and helping stabilize him, “You alright?” He asked and Daisuke slowly nodded in response,
“Just tired.” Daisuke slurred out trying to blink the sleep away, but he had to admit he was exhausted and would rather be anywhere but there. At least he had Haru with him, that helped ease the pain a bit.
“I would’ve never guessed,” Haru said sarcastically before he wrapped and arm firmly around Daisuke’s shoulders and led him back to the car helping him get in, pulling away when their faces got close hitting his head on the door frame of the car. “Shit.” He mumbled rubbing the back of his head as he walked around the car to get into the driver’s seat.
Haru sighed starting the car and setting his hands on the steering wheel, “Is there anything you’d like me to stop and get?” He asked looking over and realizing Daisuke was already asleep. ‘Damn he’s cute when he’s asleep’ he thought to himself before cursing and shaking his head trying to ignore the feelings building up inside of him.
“Would it be weird to just take him home?” He asked himself as he pulled out his cell phone to give his boss a call informing him of the situation that went down. Once the call was over, he was back to the mental debate of how weird it would be.
“Maybe if I brought him back to my apartment?” He asked himself aloud, “But I know where he lives. Then again don’t want to freak him out…”
“Who’re you talking to?” He heard a half-asleep (and possibly delirious) Daisuke ask,
“Uh – No one.” He said silently cursing at himself for thinking aloud and realized he could ask, but by the time he looked over his partner was back asleep, and he sighed to himself, “My place it is.” He concluded knowing it would be the fastest plus he had the key to get inside.
“Kanbe—” Haru whispered gently shaking Daisuke’s arm rousing him from his slumber. He slowly blinked in response to Haru before sitting up and asking,
“Where are we?”
“My apartment building. You went to pass out on me. So, I brought you here to rest and make sure you didn’t die on me.”
Daisuke looks at Haru for a moment but doesn’t question him getting out of the car and following Haru up the stairs to his apartment. Observing how everything seemed to be a bit run down and how each stair creaked when he took a step. He wondered how Haru was able to live in these conditions, but he knew Haru was a strong person who could probably easily survive even without a place to stay. He was amazing like that.
“Gonna come in?” Haru asked as he opened the door, exhaustion from the long day beginning to catch up with him as well. It was a wonder how Daisuke was still walking, the power nap probably helped him, Haru thought to himself.
Daisuke nodded and walked into the apartment, “This place seems comfortable.” He commented not sure what else to say about the place, a part of him wanting to buy the entire building so he could – He stopped himself from that train of thought, taking a step inside and humming a bit,
“So…There’s only one bed in here,” Haru said, “And the couch is probably too small and hard to be comfortable so I’ll change the sheets on my bed, and you can nap there until you’re well enough to safely go home.” Daisuke just hummed in response, his eyelids beginning to grow heavy once more,
“Thank you.” He said quietly, his voice beginning to give out,
“It’s what I’d hope someone would do for me if I was doing so badly so…Despite disagreeing with your actions it’s the least I can do to keep you safe.” Haru then offered a small smile and Daisuke hummed in response before taking a seat on the couch and staring blankly at the wall ahead of him, as Haru went and changed the sheets before returning and telling Daisuke,
“Follow me.” With that he turned on his heel and made his way into the bedroom, showing Daisuke the freshly made bed, “Go ahead and lay down. I’ll bring some water and medicine then you can just rest until you feel up to going home.” Daisuke just hummed once again in response. Too exhausted to say anything, though he was truly thankful that Haru would go out of his way to do this. But what else did he expect? Haru jumped in front of a car to save citizens, of course he would do something like this.
Soon enough Haru returned with what he said he would setting the water and pill bottle next to Daisuke, ”If you feel up to it you can take something to help your cough, otherwise just rest and I’ll check on you in a few hours.”
“Thank you,” Daisuke said unsure of what else he could say before he laid back and closed his eyes.
Once Haru was completely sure that Daisuke was well situated in bed he walked into the living room where he then laid down on the couch and closed his eyes for a well deserved nap.

Lost Voice Dialogue
Nice Caretaker:
“You sound awful / terrible / horrible.”
“Don’t talk, it sounds like it hurts.”
“Do you want some soup / hot tea with honey? It’ll help.”
“What happened to your voice?”
“I’ll get you some cough drops / syrup. Maybe the coughing is making it worse.”
“Just rest your voice, don’t worry about anything.”
“Here’s some more water. Staying hydrated will get your voice back sooner.”
Not So Nice Caretaker:
“Sounds like you’re going through puberty.”
“(Asks a question) start talking…oh wait.”
“So that’s why it’s been so nice and quiet around here.”
“I could get used to you like this. This is nice.”
“You need to speak up, I can’t hear you.”
“I don’t know what you need, use your words.”

Fandom: The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited
Characters: Haru Katou, Daisuke Kambe
Trigger Warnings: N/A
Notes: This might be really bad but listen,,, I’m love this anime
Being sleep deprived wasn’t something new to Haru.
He was used to working long hours, used to the long nights, he was used to all that came with the job. What wasn’t normal were the aches, the congestion, and the most annoying part of it all was the itch at the back of his throat he couldn’t seem to make go away.
He sighed as he pulled himself out of bed and began to get ready for work. He was rather sluggish for someone who finally got a full eight hours of rest, but he chalks it off as his body not being used to that much sleep. It was just an off day, nothing a glass of water and some medicine can’t fix. Once he was finally done with his morning ritual, he grabbed his keys and headed off to work.
Once he was at the building Haru pulled himself out of his car and dragged himself into the office. Quietly greeting his coworkers and wincing when his voice cracked. He sighed and took a seat next to Kamei placing his head in his hands and squeezing his eyes shut. He was regretting coming to work already, the noise of all the chit chat around him was beginning to make his head pound and, well, on top of everything else it really didn’t feel too great.
“Everything alright?” Shinnosuke asked, looking up from his computer and tilting his head a bit to the side,
“Mhm...” Haru hummed in response before slowly adjust to be sitting upright,”Just tired. Nothing out of the normal.” He tells Shinnosuke with a small shrug looking towards the door when he heard it opening and groaning a bit to himself.
Obviously Kambe would be coming to work, Haru told himself. Then he scolded himself for hoping his coworker would no longer be joining them for whatever reason, despite disliking his style of dealing with situations he did get the work done. Still it pissed Haru off to see him just throwing away money and putting people in harm’s way instead of doing what they were trained to do…Maybe in England they were trained differently. Haru had no clue, but nonetheless, he hated it.
He was pulled out of his own train of thought when he heard his name followed by, “Will you be able to go check it out?”
“Huh?” He asked before sighing, “Yeah, that’s fine.” He says pushing his chair back and standing up, honestly having no clue what he was told to do but not wanting to ask again – At least he had the assumption that Kambe would be going with him. He walked towards the door and stopped watching as Kambe slowly made his way over, which made Haru’s blood boil. Of course, this man thought that he could take all the time in the world when there was a job to get done.
“Are you coming?” He heard a voice ask, pulling him out of his own train of thought…When did Daisuke get ahead of him? He asked himself once he noticed that Daisuke was way ahead of him and waiting,”If not it would be best if you were to go home seeming as you have a fever.”
“I—What?” Haru asked narrowing his eyes looking at Daisuke before he sped up bumping their shoulders when he walked past him, “Let’s go.” He muttered through clenched teeth.
It wasn’t long until they were on the scene, there wasn’t much going on in—until haru heard a scream and his attention was drawn to the bank where a man was making his way out of there holding a bag of money,
“Hey!” Haru shouted before going after the man.
It would’ve been easy for him to catch the man if his entire body wasn’t aching. Despite the pain he chased the man anyway and was able to stop him and handcuff him.
A simple task felt as though it sucked all the energy right out of him. He groaned as he pulled himself back to standing and yanked the man upright with him, “Thanks for the help.” He told Kambe sarcastically. Once they were able to get the man back to the police force all Haru wanted to do was go back home.
And he could’ve, but he decided against it. He didn’t really have a fever, no way Kambe would be able to gauge that just by looking at him. Them again his whole butler system was a bit freaky and could do more than Haru could even imagine so maybe he was right, that’s when he noticed Daisuke was right in front of him
“Come with me,” Haru gave Daisuke a weird look before giving a small shrug and saying,
“Why?”
“We need to talk.” Haru groaned in response, he really did not feel like going with Daisuke, but something inside him told him to not fight it and just go. So, he got up.
“Lead the way,” He said his face deadpan.
For once Daisuke’s slow stride didn’t annoy him. Haru honestly didn’t want to walk any faster than what they were going at, he brought his arm up and stopped walking to cough into his elbow before muttering,” Fuck…” And scowling when he realized that Daisuke had stopped to look at him.
So, he walked faster. Catching up with Daisuke, but what he didn’t expect was the sudden lightheaded feeling that came over him. He stumbled a bit before he blinked slowly and the next thing he knew he was falling, black spots filled his vision until he didn’t see anything and the world came to a halt.
---
“Where am I…?” He muttered blinking slowly as he came back to,
“On the couch,” Daisuke said bluntly before continuing, “If you had a fever and were feeling unwell why would you continue to work instead of going home?”
“Well some people don’t have an infinite amount of money,” Haru bit back, wincing when he started to cough, covering his face yet again, “Besides…I enjoy what I do and –”
“You cannot help anyone if you’re blacking out on the job,” Daisuke pointed out with a smug look on his face that Haru despised,
“I suppose you’re right,” Haru said with a small huff, sitting up completely and going to stand before realizing that Daisuke was offering a hand to help him up. He took it and sighed knowing that this would be a long night.

Long Day Pt. 2
Fandom: Spider-man
Characters: Peter Parker
Prompt: Inner ear infection
Trigger Warnings:  emeto
Part 1
He felt gross.
His ears were ringing, his stomach was still doing summer saults and to top if all off he was covered in his own vomit with everyone in the room staring at him. Luckily some of his teammates had left by this point but of course not all of them. He could hear Flash talking about him saying somehow about how gross he was. Peter was too distracted by his own illness to care.
At least it wasn’t too long before May go there. She was quick rushing in and being by Peter’s side, “Are you alright?” She asked then quietly scolded herself before adding, “Obviously you’re not okay but...it’ll be okay...I brought you a spare change of clothes since Ned told me you had gotten it all over yourself. I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well, Pete.” May said as she pulled a clean shirt out of what felt like thin air to Peter, but she had most likely brought a bag for him. Peter nodded and quietly gave her a thanks as he slowly stood up, nearly toppling over when another dizzy spell hit him. He didn’t understand why he kept being knocked off balance, but he supposed it had something to do with his ears.
After he changed and put his soiled clothes back into a plastic bag May had apparently brought in, he walked out to the car with May. She got into the driver’s side as Peter slowly slid into the passenger side.
“Alright, honey,” She began then sighed softly, “I have to work tonight,” She told him looking over at him and placing her hand gently on his leg, “I talked to Happy and he said that Tony would be happy to have you spend the night over at the avengers facility. Of course, if you’d rather I could always take off.”
“Mr. Stark wants me to stay?” Peter asked gently, a small smile forming on his face at the idea that the Tony Stark wanted to see him! Even if it was under less than ideal circumstances.
“That’s what Happy told me while we were talking on the phone.” May said before starting the car,” So I take it you want to go spend some time with Iron Man?”
“Yes!” Peter said full of energy before he put a hand over his hurting ear and whispered,” Ouch…”
The drive there felt like it took forever, but when they were there Peter was relieved to finally be getting out of the car. The movement had been beginning to make his nausea get any worse, but luckily, he was able to get to the facility without any more incidents.
“Peter!” Tony said as he walked outside, having been informed that the two of them arrived, “Fancy seeing you here,” He said with a small smile before reaching out and patting him on the shoulder.
“Thanks for watching over Peter while I’m at work,” May said with a small smile, “I trust you’ll take good care of him. And not—”
“Geesh, act like I’ve never interacted with a kid before. I know how these things work. We have dinner, play time, then when bedtime comes, I read him a book give him a kiss goodnight then it’s time for the grownups to party.”
May rolled her eyes before pressing a kiss to Peter’s forehead, “Make sure Tony behaves,” She tells him gently before patting his back and getting into her car, “Love you Peter.”
“Love you too, May.” Peter said trying to muster up the energy to sound his normal self.
“Alright kid,” Tony said as he turned his attention onto Peter,” Can you walk alright?” Peter just nodded in response before trying to take a few steps forward but tilting a bit too far to one side and nearly collapsing,
“Something’s a bit wrong with my balance,” He then quietly admitted, and Tony nodded walking to Peter and wrapping an arm around Peter to help him stay balanced and have a half-assed possibility of being able to walk forward.
Once inside Tony helped Peter get situated on the couch, giving him his choice of pillowing and blankets before offering him the television remote, “If you wanna watch anything we can, its entirely your choice.” He told Peter before stopping and standing still for a few more moments before asking, “What would you like for dinner?”
Peter groaned, dinner was not on the list of things he wanted to think about, “I don’t know...Mr. Stark my stomach hurts, and my head.”
“And your ear?” Tony said pointing out that Peter had a hand against his ear,
“…And my ear.” Peter agreed.
“Well…We can do something small for dinner, how about I make you some toast and bring some water out and if you can keep that down and you’re hungry later we can try something then.”
“Alright, thank you.” Peter said removing his hand from his ear and laying down on the couch looking at the blank television screen.
When Tony returned from the kitchen, he didn’t expect to find the kid curled up on the couch shaking softly. Tony set down the toast and glass of water before slowly approaching the kid and gently placing a hand on his shoulder,” Hey, kid? Everything alright?” When he got no response, he gently shook his shoulder,” Peter?” When he heard his name Peter slowly uncurled himself and looked up at Tony, tears still running down his face.
“It hurts, Mr. Stark,” Peter whispered, and Tony’s heart broke.
“Scoot over kid,” Tony said gently waiting for Peter to make some space before sitting himself down on the couch and gently instructing Peter,” If you’d like you can put your head on my lap, I can like...Pet your hair or something if that’ll make you even a bit more comfortable.”
“Thank you again…” Peter whispered before slowly readjusting so his head would be on Tony’s lap, closing his eyes as he felt his mentor begin to run his fingers through his hair,” goodnight, Mr. Stark.”
“Sleep well, kid.”

Long Day
Notes: For some reason I wanted to write an ear infection so I did. Sorry not sorry.
Fandom: Spider-man
Characters: Peter Parker, Ned Leeds
Prompt: Inner ear infection
Trigger Warnings: Emeto
“Peter!” He heard a voice call out bringing him out of a deep sleep. He blinked his eyes open and looked around the room and noted that he was feeling off. Something wasn’t right, “C’mon bud, you’re going to be late for school,” Aunt May said standing outside of his room and knocking on the door. He ignored the feeling and got out of bed blinking when a wave of dizziness rushed over him but soon enough it stopped and he was able to get up and get dressed for school before leaving his room and heading out for the day,
“Love ya may!” He called out as he left the room and ran down the stairs so he would be on time for school.
He got there with only minutes to spare.
“Peter! I thought you wouldn’t be showing up,” Peter jumped when the voice spoke from behind, but his heart rate slowed when he realized it was Ned,
“Dude! Don’t do that,” Peter said as he turned around, “I woke up late…Guess I didn’t hear my alarm or something,” Peter said with a small shrug.
“Well you know the school policy—”
“We don’t even have a meet today, either way I can still go to practice.” Peter said with a small shrug and Ned shrugged back,
“Guess so. But it’s better to be safe.”
“It wasn’t my choice to wake up late.” Peter said as the bell rang and Ned smiled a bit, “I’ll seeya at lunch!”
There was nothing too interesting about the school day. Peter had a test or two but nothing too fancy. He got through the classes well enough but halfway through English his ear started to hurt. The pain wasn’t too bad at first, but throughout the rest of the class it had begun to escalate.
He just tried to ignore it.
When lunch rolled around, he wasn’t feeling too great. His ear had began ringing and he felt dizzy every time he stood up and the dizzy spells were beginning to last longer and longer. Plus, there was a bit of nausea forming. It wasn’t anything he wasn’t used to though. He just had to make it through the rest of the day.
“You feeling okay?” Peter hadn’t even realized he had completely zoned out until he was spoken to, “I’m not worried or anything, but to put it gently you look like shit.” Peter rolled his eyes and looked at Michelle, he couldn’t hear her too well over the ringing sound in his ear,
“I’m just…uh, my ear hurts?” He told her somewhat nervously, not really wanting to admit he was feeling horrible but also not wanting to just hide it if she already knew he didn’t look well.
“Hm. Aight.” She responded before looking back down at her book.
“Are you sure you’re alright?” Ned asked as he sat down across from Peter, “You know you can go home if you need to, I’m sure no one will be upset with you if you do.” Peter just shrugged in response shoving a fry into his mouth,
“I’ll be fine until after practice, I’ll just go straight home.” Peter said with a small shrug wishing the conversation would shift away from him being the main topic. He didn’t like being spoken about, he found it awkward.
“Alright well wanna talk about the newest Star Wars movie?” Ned asked. Peter was thankful the topic was off him.
As the rest of the day dragged on Peter began to feel worse and worse but he felt like he could tough it out until the end of practice. It’s not like the day even had that much longer, he just had chemistry and Spanish left then he was done. Well, almost done.
He had almost made it out the door when he remembered that still had his academic decathlon practice.  He sighed as he turned on his heel, which was a major mistake as when he tried to take his next step forward, he stumbled and slammed into the lockers next to him. He quietly cursed before he regained his composure and walked the rest of the way to practice.
Practice wasn’t too bad. Except for the fact that Peter’s nausea was increasing at a alarmingly quick rate. As they were being asked questions, he could barely hear them, everything felt too hot and he was beginning to sweat.
“Peter.” Their teacher spoke and sighed, “do you need to go home?”
“Yeah dude,” Ned said, “You look worse than you did at lunch.”
“No! Uh – I-I’m fine,” Peter said forcing himself to perk up and offered the rest of them a small smile, “See!”
“Mhm…Carry on,” Their teacher said after a moment of contemplating and Peter sighed – He had no clue why he did that instead of just agreeing and deciding to go home to the comfort of his own bed…and YouTube.
As the practice went on Peter did try his best at answering the questions but after a while it became too hard to concentrate.
He felt like he was going to throw up at any minute.
He was so concentrated on trying to throw up he hadn’t even realized practice had ended and everyone was getting up and going to get their stuff.
“Peter,” Ned said poking Peter’s shoulder, but Peter just stayed silent blinking slowly as he tried to will the nausea away, but nothing was working and him vomiting was inevitable.
“I’m going to throw up,” Peter mumbled as he slowly rose a hand up to his mouth,
“What’d you say?” Ned asked as he stepped away from Peter giving him some room.
“I’m going to—” Peter stood up, but he stood up a bit too quickly as the world spun in front of him and he suddenly heaved bringing up a torrent of vomit. He took a strangled breath before heaving again,
“Fuck.” Ned whispered as he reached over and gently rubbed Peter’s back.
Peter blinked slowly as he just sat back down and closed his eyes and sighed deeply. The tablecloth in front of him and his shirt were both soaked with vomit.
“Want me to call May...?” Ned asked slowly and once again Peter nodded.
This was going to be a shit night.

Attempt
Notes: Endgame Spoilers. Please read the trigger warnings before reading. This is a fic using the au where Tony survives but loses an arm saving the world. Fandom: Spider-man
Characters: Peter Parker, Tony Stark
Prompt: Suicide Attempt
Trigger Warnings:  Suicidal thoughts, Suicide Attempt, Depression, Bullying
Five years went by in the blink of the eye.
Literally.
Peter was a member of the half of the population that had been snapped out of existence and when he came back to earth nothing was the same as it had been before. Mr. Stark lost an arm saving the world against Thanos and Peter couldn’t help blaming himself for everything that had happened. He knew rationally this wasn’t his fault and he had no way of preventing what happened if anything (and quite truthfully) he was a part of the team that did save the world. He did more good than bad, but something didn’t sit well with him. He constantly felt like he fucked up.
One of the hardest parts about the blip was honestly returning to school. Luckily, for Peter, Ned and Michelle had been part of the population that had disappeared for those five years, so he was able to live an almost normal life again.
Except it had been five years and everything in the world was completely different.
--
Peter sighed as he made his way into the school smiling when he saw Ned and raising a hand in greeting,” Hey!” Peter said a smile on his face, but at this point he was unsure if the smile was fake or not.
“Dude have you watched the new Star Wars movies yet?” Ned asked his eyes glowing; he was clearly excited.
“No not yet – I haven’t had time with everything going on but as soon as I do, I’ll be sure to tell you.
Simple interactions like this didn’t feel the same anymore. Nothing felt the same anymore.
--
When Peter had returned from the blip, he was immediately reunited with May who had begun a totally different life without him there. She was now well off. The apartment was well furnished, and his room had become her office. While he was gone everything was going perfectly for her, she had extra time and extra money.
Peter blamed himself when May had to start working extra hours again.
On top of everything e;se – Flash had also been a part of the population to have been blipped so Peter…Peter still had to endure his constant bullying.
“Look who it is! It’s the one and only Penis Parker!” Flash called out as Peter left the restroom, his face flushing red at the embarrassment of so many people looking in his direction, “Did you have fun fondling yourself in there?” Flash asked as there were quiet laughs throughout the room.
Peter didn’t say anything, he just pushed through the crowd in silence trying to remain calm through this situation.
He used to just endure the bullying the best to his ability but now it hurt more than it had previously.
Maybe because Peter realized he deserved this treatment. Maybe because...
Peter didn’t know why.
--
Peter sighed to himself as he sat in his makeshift of a room in the apartment. He slowly blinked his eyes open before turning to look at his new suit. The one he had fought Thanos in. The one he wore during the blip, what he wore when Thanos was defeated.
“Why me?” He whispered to himself. He brought his hands up to cover his face as he bent forward resting his elbows against his knees. He was sitting atop of a building, watching sunset everything feeling way too overwhelming for him to handle.
He reached up and removed his mask hearing as Karen asked him if everything was alright, and if she needed to contact Mr. Stark since he had been acting off. Peter ignored her throwing his mask onto the ground and getting up to walk over to the edge of the building looking down at the busy streets of New York below him,
“I’m so sorry Mr. Stark,” He whispered to himself watching the cars blurred by, “I’m not enough...I’ll never be enough...” He sighed closing his eyes as he took a step forward and allowed himself to fall. The wind rushing past him, but he felt mostly at ease but after a moment his eyes shot open and he regretted everything.
How would May handle him dying a second time.
How would Mr. Stark handle losing him again.
Peter cried out.
He was met by silence.
That was until something came rushing by and caught him right out of the air.
--
Tony was having a day just like any other after the blip. He stood in his workshop with Morgan at his leg asking him questions about everything he was working on. Tony happily explained everything to her in the simplest terms possible.
“Oh! Okay!” Morgan said full of energy then she pointed at something he had been working on to add to Peter’s suit, “what’s that for?”
“That’s for Spiderman…Remember Peter?” He asked and Morgan happily nodded in response, “Peter will use this to be a better version of spider-man! I’ll be running this by him tomorrow.” She nodded then Tony continued,” But now it’s time for you to head to bed so c’mon get up…”
“Tell me a story!”
“I will, I will but first you have to get ready for bed.”
Morgan nodded and ran off to get ready.
“Mr. Stark,” A voice said catching Tony’s attention, “There is something wrong with Peter.”
“What…do you mean?” Tony asked feeling his heat rate quicken from the anxiety bubbling up inside of him,
“Yesterday at 3:14 pm Peter Parker exhibited signs of severe depression and suicidal ideals,”
“Oh shit.” Tony said. His hands had begun to shake.
“Today Peter stands upon at building near his apartment building where he has expressed signs of—” Before she could even finish speaking Tony as quick gearing up and flying out anxiously searching for Peter.
He couldn’t find him atop any building.
That was when he noticed the falling figure off in the distance.
Tony went in that direction as quit as physically possible catching him out of the air right before the force would’ve been too much for the both to handle,
“Peter…” He whispered as he tightly held the teenager and brought him back to the avengers compound, and setting Peter on the couch,” Peter...Oh my god, how could I of not noticed?” Tony asked himself quietly as he paced in front of the couch.
Everything felt like a dream to Peter.
There was no way he survived.
There was no way Tony was standing in front of him now.
“Mr. Stark…?” Peter whispered,
“Oh my god…” Tony quickly turned and wrapped Peter up in his arms,” You have no clue how thankful I am Karen alerted me…Kid…Is there anything I can do to help…?” Tony asked softly, feeling Peter relax under the embrace.
“I-I don’t know…” Peter whispered, his voice cracking as tears began to roll down his cheeks,” I-I’m so sorry I didn’t think…I don’t want to be a burden on you.”
“You’re not a burden...” Tony whispers, before slowly pulling away from Peter and looking into his eyes, “We’re going to get you help and if you want you can take a break and just be your friendly everyday neighborhood Spiderman for as long as you need. Does that sound alright?” He asks and Peter does a small nod in response.
“Thank you so much…” Peter whispers to Tony.
“You’re an amazing kid Peter, don’t you ever forget that.”
“Are you going to tell my aunt?”
“I’m afraid I need to…And I’ll have someone see about getting you a therapist who can help you work through all of this. We’re here for you and we all want you to be living your most fulfilling and happy life.”
“Thank you, Mr. Stark…” Peter whispers again readjusting and resting his head against Tony’s shoulder.
“Anything for you kid.”
