New date idea for long time partners. Ever have trouble figuring out where and what to eat? Make a date out of it. Get a cookbook, search online, or even a magazine with some recipes. Choose something new that you haven’t had before and try to cook it together. Go to the grocery store and find the ingredients together. Cook together and enjoy.

I am the biggest dumb@ss.

I was making pasta and as i was dumping the water some of it splashed out of the sink and on my stomach. I now have a burn across my stomach because I was to lazy to remove the cutting board from the sink before pouring out the pasta water. Don’t be like me. Be smart.

I currently have plastic wrap covering it so that no bacteria hits my stomach. Other than that i have on vaseline, burn ointment + spray on.

Pray for my stupidity.

I got a huge bouquet for my birthday from my mom last month and I am trying my best to extend its shelf life. Some of the roses are a little droopy but I hope they last just a bit longer.

I find that most of my impulse purchases are done when I am exhausted. I bought 4 books knowing full well I have a few left to read at home. I have probably spent more money on ebooks and physical books than on groceries. If y’all curious I am reading Apothecary Diaries and others on book walker. Today I woke up late for my online class. I didn’t join because even if I did I would still be counted as absent as per my professor’s rules. I have no regrets, but I now realize that I have done nothing productive for today.

The other day I was watching HOUSE MD clips on youtube with my brother. In the clip the patient got to a fever of 105 and the doctors were panicking. It brought back a memory from peak COVID 19 spread when I had a memory of 104.4 fever. I remember my mom panicked and I told my brother idk why she panicked because other than the fever I was fine. I had taken a COVID test and was negative I just stayed in bed and watched tv all day. My brother then informed me that I could have died that day and that I should have been taken to the hospital. The reason we didn’t go is because we heard more people were getting infected by going to hospitals. Thank you immune system for saving my life.

Got back from work. Taking a shower and jamming out, next thing you know the power shuts off. Oh well guess I am now dancing in the dark.

I don’t wanna work today. It’s supposed to be my day off but they are screwing my favorite coworker over and i have been picking up her Sunday shifts. I am so tired I am nauseous and feel like I am either going to pass out or vomit.

My goal right now is to find a new job because $16.00/hr to clean up after hundreds of people in a movie theatre in 5 minutes is ridiculous. It bothers me more when people keep coming into the theater as we are clearly cleaning ask “Are you done cleaning yet?” Yeah we done cleaning, we are leaving this pile of popcorn for the aesthetic.

Working at a movie theater is a good first time job if you are comfortable with erratic scheduling, no sleep schedule, and the constant anxiety of whether you will stuck having to clean a 100+ theater alone because everyone is needed at the 300+ theater. On the bright side you get free movies, popcorn, and unlimited caffeinated soda.
