How to be comfortable even if you are amongst crowded places?

I personally try to focus on the parts that I feel most comfortable with, remembering to take breathers if I need them. I try my best not to get too caught up in the idea there’s tons of people around me because I tend to get too nervous and less functional if I do that. For example, if I was in a crowded shop I’d focus extra on finding what I need. If I channel my energy into my objective I have less need to worry too much about the many people nearby, they become secondary to what I need to do in a way. This also helps me effectively leave the store faster. If I’m at a party with friends I’d concentrate most on hanging out with them, if I find myself getting more comfortable with those nearby that’s great! But it’s not required! It’s nice to also remember you aren’t required to talk to everyone and you don’t have to be bffs with every person you meet. That at least takes a lot of the pressure off for me. Hope this helped a bit!
