Having an AU idea but not knowing how to do it is the worst feeling

I want to do a Gatsby-inspired Hazbin Hotel AU (I actually liked reading the book in school), but the roles are confusing.

Most I really have is Alastor as Gatsby himself, and maybe Charlie as Nick, but everyone else is confusing.

If anyone has ideas, thank you genuinely.

I try not to bash ships if I don't like them, just try to see why people might like them. Sucks to see a lot of people say stuff about ships just to bash them. Even if there is a 'bad ship', someone likes it

It's fun learning why people like certain ships even if I don't get it myself. Especially if someone has fun teaching people about a certain ship.

It's also always so nice to see a Charlastor who doesn't hate Vaggie/Chaggie. Maybe a low bar to set but that's something I like/wish to see in this fandom.

I was a fan for a week but kind of lost interest, so it’s nice seeing a positive view on it -too many toxic fans on X- and an understanding of why people like it.
