I swear I'm alive. I got this new job and I'm trying to balance art after work. I got this cute pin from work tho, and it makes me want to make custom enamel pins. Thinking of making a page of fishies and flowers to make stickers and stuff.

This is probs my best house so far in minecraft. In a meadow, white terracotta cottage...kinda living the life here. Bed next to basement was a move...my feng shui for rooms is not great.

I think it's so funny that while I was finishing up a recent piece, I thought about how I should backup my shit on procreate, THEN DIDN'T. Now my ipad the NEXT EVENING, is somehow slightly bent and is constantly trying to reboot. Idk if I can restore it.... I pray the icloud automatically backed my shit up on Procreate. I thankfully saved most of my crap on Drive. I suck backing my digital art up, I swear it's a pain for me. This has inspired me to plug my wacom back in and just use Krita cus whhhyyyy would it do this to me in the middle of a commission??? Thankfully this one has no hard deadlines.

It's been so long since I've actually watched monster high. But for some reason it popped up on my feed on youtube, and I got sucked into it. I don't even like dolls much (the eyes creep me out no matter what idk but MH is still cute.) Yet, I found myself just listening to critiques for the 3rd gen reboot... All this to say I might make fanart for it soon. Clawdine and Lagoona still have my heart, and Venus Mcflytrap is such a baddie wtf.

An Iris study turned finished~

Making this, I found out that the Greek Goddess, Iris, would represent rainbows and would have Iris growing wherever she stepped. I actually didn't know she was a messenger as well between humans and gods. I don't consume a lot of Greek mythology but I hardly ever hear about her.

Otherwise, I do love this lilac colored flower and its many shades of dull reds, yellows and greens.

Hi and welcome. Call me Iris <3 You've seem to have stumbled into my cozy little space! This is more or less my art page. My comfort subjects when making art are plants, fairies, mermaids and anything magical. I do want to explore more subjects involving African folklore and dark/alt fantasy in the future. I post literally whatever, but mostly my art. Whether sketches or pieces. I just wanna vibe~ Recent fave mangas/animes: Berserk, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, Hellsing, and Golden Kamuy. Outside of that, I watch a bunch of horror movies. I think Siren is pretty iconic.

I am forever trying to exude divine, black alt, witch energy. And I one day will be as bad as Aaliyah in Queen of the Damned.
