Unsere ehrenamtlichen Einsatzkräfte sind immer in Bereitschaft und fahren bei Alarmierung direkt zum Objekt in der Zweinaundorfer Straße 99. Dort ziehen Sie sich um und fahren in den Einsatz. Wir als Deutsche Lebens Rettungs Gesellschaft (DLRG) Leipzig haben zum Ziel Kindern das Schwimmen beizubringen, Sport zu fördern und engagieren uns in der Wasserrettung, täglichen Gefahrenabwehr und im Katastrophenschutz. Mit unseren Stationen am Kulkwitzer und Markleeberger See sind wir für dich da.

Zuletzt waren mehr und mehr Einsätze zu Menschen in den Seen rund um Leipzig oder Bereitschaften zu den Hochwasser- und Starkregenereignissen in Deutschland zu verzeichnen.

Wir brauchen nun deine Hilfe, denn unsere Spinde sind für die benötigen Persönlichen Schutzausrüstungen zu klein und eine Trennung von Einsatzkleidung und privater Kleidung ist nicht gegeben und es gibt keine Spinde für die Jugend. Das möchten wir ändern und brauchen dazu deine Hilfe. Jede Spende hilft uns und gleichzeitig auch dir!

Crowdfunding - last chance for our new lockers

Our volunteer emergency responders are always on standby. Our base of operations - our second home really - is Zweinaundorfer Straße 99. There, we change clothes and head out on duty. As the Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft (DLRG) Leipzig, we aim to teach children how to swim, promote sports, and engage in water rescue, daily hazard prevention, and disaster relief. With our stations at Kulkwitzer and Markleeberger Lakes, we are here for you.

Recently, we have seen an increasing number of rescues to people in the lakes around Leipzig, as well as responses to floods and heavy rain events in Germany.

We need your help now, because our lockers are too small for personal protective equipment, there is no separation between emergency clothing and private clothing, and there are no lockers for young people. We want to change that and need your help. Every donation helps us and you, too.

Keep seeing action movies where the hero is cocky and arrogant and outspoken and everytime he meets a woman or a tech guy they have to prove their worth to him and he wins every time and for some reason, we’re supposed to root for these heroes, even find them attractive.

And then along comes Ethan Hunt, who is kind and gentle even with strangers, who wants to save the whole world but especially his friends, respects the women and tech guys and basically everyone who isn’t some kind of management, is very intelligent; quite often does quite badly in a fight, is always really surprised when his crazy stunt wins and would die for you ten minutes after he met you.

He’s the one we all adore and yet movies keep giving us heroes of the type, not the second.
