Sorry for the uber late response. But, huh. Not sure. I think it’s silly and cute and I support it, but also it’s not a hill I’d die on you know? Just cute in funny in the right context, just a wholesome take. I’m a little bias though b/c I wrote a really wholesome ticklish Lucifer chapter in my long ass fic and Will forever see it through the lens of that scene.

Do you ever think about the fact that maybe God in the Hellaverse just has brainrot like us. Is holes away in his room writing up a storm and the reason Lucifer is such a sad boy is BECAUSE he’s the favourite? Because I do. I think about it a lot. And it’s hilarious to me.

Friendly reminder that there is not enough discussion about platonic Lucifer and Angel Dust just being pals, the absolute besties, and I think there should be there is so much potential there. Like, think about it, Angel is just shameless enough to break through any weird demon royalty barrier the dynamic could have, and Lucifer is just pathetic and awkward enough to accept it and have it slowly grow on them. Like. I feel they they would just gossip and trauma bond, and Lucifer would finally have someone to have a tea party with and Angel could flex because he’s best friends with the King of Hell. Plus Lucifer could let him preen his wings to get practice for helping Husk if you know what I mean. Like. SO MANY HEADCANONS. Not to mention the height difference is just great. I’m so sad that there’s nobody I can talk about it to, because I’m actually kinda obsessed and I just want them to hang out. Someone show me the side of tumblr w/ platonic Appledust ppl because I need more friends who want to appreciate it with me 😭

Idk if you're talking about the star form or just his simplified look in the 3rd frame, but either way, omg thank you. That was literally my main reason for drawing this. It just popped into my head and I was like, ah yes, star with wings -> Lucifer figure. Must draw. I'm so glad you like it. (Sorry, I just get really excited when the part of my art I'm most excited about is the part someone else points out)

Lol sure! Basically what I mean is if he makes a mistake when it comes to someone he cares about he'll like... overcorrect almost to a fault (that is, of course, if he thinks he has a chance of making it up to you and doesn't just feel so guilty that he shuts down and doesn't even try). Breaks your favorite mug? Not only will he magic it back together but he'll give you a whole new dish set. You were trying to focus and he was ranting and you snapped at him? Well, he'll shut up for the rest of the day and bring you a nice treat when you're finished whatever work you're doing. His conflict resolution is either avoidance or overcompensation depending on the situation.

How am I ever supposed to get over this man?

Have some Headcannons:

🍎 Luci takes a weekly/daily eccentric bubble bath with scented candles, a glass of rosé, dim lighting, the WORKS!

🍎 He mainly shows his love through Acts of Service and Gift Giving

🍎 But Physical Touch and Words of Affirmation are much more meaningful for him to receive.

🍎 Mainly Physical Touch. He’s hugger. After spending so long alone, he loves being reminded that someone is right there next to him.

🍎 He’s a crier. Most of the emotions that he feels are connected to his tear ducts. Joy, anger, fear, you name it. The only time it doesn’t happen is when he’s entered pure-demonic-rage-protective-daddy mode.

🍎 Now that he’s staying in the Hotel (probably), he will drop anything and everything the minute Charlie starts to talk, even if it’s not directly to him. She has his focus 100% of the time. He wants to make up for all the time he lost in his major depressive episode.

🍎 He’s actually kind of insecure about his duck obsession, and it takes him a little to open up about it with new people. However, once he does, and it’s well received, he never shuts up about them

🍎 Man has some seriously debilitating social anxiety. He can’t even go out for a nice meal without stressing out about having to order. And all the demons staring at him because he’s the King if Hell does not help

🍎 Of all his siblings (if they’re canon, and whatever they are to him in Hazbin if they are. I’m talking Micheal, Gabriel, etc) he was closest to Raphael. They were practically joined at the hip before his fall, and that was probably one of the toughest losses to cope with.

🍎 He has a very small appetite, and it gets worse the more his depression kicks in. Sometimes he’ll go a whole day with hardly any food because he just doesn’t have the energy to eat.

🍎 He refuses to take credit for any of Charlie’s traits other than physical. He insists that she gor most of who she is from her mom, and the rest she came up with herself (despite the fact that everyone is aware of how similar the father-daughter duo are)

🍎 If he fucks up with you, he will go to the ends of the earth to make it right again and it will be the cutest thing ever. Even if you were never that mad to begin with.

That’s all I can think of for now. Might be back with some more later as they pop up in my brain. My main point is Luci is a cutie pie and deserves the world. Protect him at all costs

Hazbin Hotel Characters as Flowers

These are the only ones I have in my mind rn that I think have good enough symbolism, let me know if you have any other ideas for other characters (or different ideas for these ones?)

Lucifer - Dandelion (beautiful, but seen as a weed. Something to be rooted out. Spreading its influence everywhere, and depending on your view, that influence can either be magical and breathtaking or terrible and infectious).

Charlie - Sunflower (bright, sunny, stands tall above all the others like a beacon of hope. It may not be everyone’s first choice, but it doesn’t care. It just wants to see the sunshine).

Emily - Daisy (Simple, sweet, innocent. Small and dainty but rather resilient. One of the staples that domes to mind when you think ‘flower,’ just like Emily would be the kind of character we may imagine when we think ‘angel’)

Sera - Rose (Elegant, regal, big reputation and is the poster-child for flowers. The thorns may make it seem a bit cold, but they are only there to protect it. They are a necessary evil)
