a short tutor!bakugou drabble(?)

author's notes - this isn't the finished fanfic!! just thought you should see what i'm attempting to accomplish. fanfic is delayed because i absolutely hate the way i wrote it. new smaus on the way

tutor!bakugou who makes a huge deal about having to tutor you. huffing and groaning the whole time the teacher is trying to explain why he was chosen for the job.

tutor!bakugou who mumbles under his breath about how useless tutoring you is going to be. it almost seems like he doesn’t like you.

tutor!bakugou who takes extra time out of his day to make notes for you, explaining each individual thing in a simplified way.

tutor!bakugou who refuses to tutor anyone besides you. claiming it’s taking his precious time out of his day, and if he could, he’d stop tutoring you anyway.

tutor!bakugou claims he hates spending extra time alone with you, but continues to make the lessons longer. he claims it’s for your own benefit, but he knows it’s an excuse for him.

tutor!bakugou who tells your teacher he needs more time to teach you. grumbling about how, “your dumbass can’t seem to figure out the material.” despite you passing the most recent tests.

tutor!bakugou gives you his number, insisting it’s only because you might need to text him about missing a lesson. he tells you not to text him unless you’re asking a question about material or need to reschedule. that night he texts you, asking if you’d be free on the weekend.

tutor!bakugou who invites you to a cafe, specifically the one you and mina were constantly gushing about. whenever you question the place, he immediately shuts it down. it’s just for studying.

tutor!bakugou who pays for your drink, slapping your card away when you threaten to pay.

tutor!bakugou who throws fewer insults your way during this study "totally not date" and instead he compliments you on how quickly you were able to pick up recent material. although the compliments could only come out as nicely as bakugou was able to voice them.

tutor!bakugou accidentally lets it slip that he might be thinking of this study session as a date. when you tease him over this, he grumbles to himself, crosses his arms, and looks away.

tutor!bakugou who scoffs at the idea of you ever inviting him on a genuine date. so whenever you propose the idea, he tenses his shoulders and lets out a quick, "no."

tutor!bakugou notices the way your face has a slight look of disappointment when he rejects you. mentally facepalming, he is quick to change his mind, "if you're going to get all depressed about it.. then i'll go." you shake your head, assuring him it's fine if he really doesn't. he looks a bit offended at this, "don't change your damn mind. i'm going because i like you, not because i think you're forcing me. deal with it."

tutor!bakugou who soon after becomes a lot more than just a tutor.
