Like how the fuck did a nine year old girl being manipulated by a child murderer lead to a fourteen year old boy watching his babysitter die in an alternate dimension

I’m so tired of getting new, amazing characters that give new energy and something to look forward in, just for them to get killed in a cheap way or a cliche.

Eddie’s death was very VERY predictable and I had so much hope that they would pull that rug out from underneath us and be like “no we’re not doing the predictable the coward dies a hero cliche” however I severely overestimated.

Listen, I LOVE Steve (he IS my favourite ST character after all), but honestly I’d rather they had killed Steve this season, because the way Eddie died? FUCK THAT.

This just shows that the whole purpose of Eddie‘s character was to be a filler death because the Duffer brothers are unwilling to kill one of their main characters. We saw it happen with Bob and Alexei and now with Eddie and we’ll see it again when in season 5 they’re going to introduce a loveable new character who’s sole purpose is to be there as a cheap cop-out death, because god forbid that one of the main characters actually dies.

And the way that apparently Dustin and Eddie‘s uncle are the only ones who’re actually mourning him? They way that they just left Eddie‘s body in the upside down? The way Eddie died to protect a whole town that was out to kill him? Fuck that.

And this is just one of my many issues with volume 2 (looking at the whole mess that was Will‘s feelings for Mike being used to further the Mileven relationship).

God, I’m bitter. I need a fix-it fic. Or possibly a whole lot of them.

Why did they have to give us the cutest scenes of Eddie and Dustin and then also the absolute hottest scenes of him fighting, playing guitar, and being himself JUST TO KILL HIM.

They really had to make me want to kiss him and then make it so NO ONE could kiss him.

My mind is completely consumed by this show and you know what, here are 25 of my very chaotic thoughts about what the fuck just happened.

1. Eddie my love you WOULD have survived, you had so many chances, so many. You put up such a brilliant fight, but why couldn’t you just go in the fucking trailer, they would have kept chasing you. In there you would have atleast been able to hold out until they dropped dead like fucking flies

2. I don’t think Max is dead, I feel like if they were going to kill her they wouldn’t drag it on to the next season they’d just end her there

3. There was talk about how in season 5 the fact that the upside down is stuck in time matters, does that mean there’s a chance we get the dead back?? Because I simultaneously don’t want that at all and want it a lot

4. Why did it have to be eddie you fuckers

I’ve been trying to write the first chapter of this stupid book for like 4 weeks

I just can’t, I type a paragraph and immediately I’m like nahhhh that’s awful

Seriously, here is part of the chapter that I keep switching between future and past tense and have yet to like either way;

“Kirishima!” He starts, with wonderfully fake enthusiasm. “Your eyes are red…”

Kirishima responds with a laugh, one that is too loud, way too loud for Katsuki to be finding himself drawn to it. “Hate to break it to you bro, but my eyes are kinda always red.”

“Yeah…” Izuku laughs awkwardly. “Cause you’re always high…”

“Well, that too but my eyes are naturally red.”

“But you’re still always high.”

Katsuki feels his own chest tighten at the words. They’re accusatory, but by the look on the other two’s faces, it’s not false. The red-eyed man adjusts on his feet, jaw clenched just the slightest bit and faces the blonde. Catching his gaze directly, Katsuki can see that the other’s eyes are in fact, very red, but unlike Izuku he’s never really cared if people smoke, “Hey, I’m Kirishima.”

In conclusion, none of what I’m writing makes any sense
