Marauders Annivasary.

Every year, the four boys would get together with their rum and snacks, sit on the floor and stay up all night. during the day they would go out and visit the black lake.

It was the date of when they officially all became Marauders, and this date their lives actually began. It was a celebration of all the bullshit they had been through, the bullshit they went through together.

...and it really pissed Regulus off that it was more important to James than their anniversary.

Jegulus story

James potter was heartbroken. He stood with a bouquet of flowers, at the astronomy tower, alone. He had finally gotten Lily to agree to a date.. but she didn't show. He was about to leave when suddenly Regulus Black showed up in the doorway. He was in a suit, a gentle smile that James had never seen from Regulus on his face.

"Hey Potter." Regulus said and walked over.

"R-reg? What are you doing here?"

"I noticed Lily didn't show up.. I didn't want your planned date to go to waste." Regulus said. James frown quickly turned to a look of shock and happiness.

He pulled Regulus into a hug. "Thank you.." he muttered into Regulus' black hair.

He would take things slow, but this was the story of how James Potter would move on from Lily Evans and found his love.

James Potter was red-green colourblind so all the hcs about him accidentally wearing Regulus’ tie to breakfast are entirely accurate. That shit happened daily.
