ok, so tumblr added a function where you can turn off your public url so if you go to their page you won't see anything. but you can still see them on dashboard. maybe through the app too you can see their back posts.
Ah, I see. Why would they do that?!?

Hello everyone! It has been many moons. Not dead yet. Upside down, but what can I do? This cold is definitely in my chest now, so I best not put in my couple of miles this morning. Hoping to make it to a 5k in a month or so, uninjured, and slightly more speedy. Hopefully I can run tomorrow. #slowandsteady

Caroline Wozniacki is known as one of the fittest players in tennis, but even the rejuvenated Dane is feeling anxious as she prepares to take part in the New York City Marathon in early November.
7:30s in an 11-mile training run? Really talented people aren't allowed to do everything really well. RUDE.

I'm afraid to step on the scale.
That's why I haven't in about 3 weeks...

Well, being fit and thin was fun for awhile.
It sucks to see it slip through my fingers.
Additionally, I'm the worst blogger ever.

I'm right inside the park at Garfield, between miles 5 & 6 (after the hill) if anyone wants to cheer with me. I hear the cheers from Grand Army Plaza.

I just wore two different shoes to the grocery store and didn't notice.
A Racer ST 7 on the left and a GT-2000 v2 on the right. I just slipped them on, sockless, while running out the door. I was too distracted by the quarter moving around in my right shoe to notice the difference. Have I really been out of the game for that long? Happy Monday, folks.

So sad not to be running in this beautiful weather, but overjoyed to witness the dog party that is Central Park right now.

Tasty brunch today! (Look at all that green!) Scrambled eggs (1 yolk/2 whites) with Swiss. Avocado on whole wheat English muffins. Salad of mixed greens with evoo and balsamic vinegar. Then I ate 3 servings of blue corn tortilla chips. (Just don't buy them, J! They're too crunchy and salty to resist!!) Trying to make good choices, but it'll take some time to adjust.

Personally I’m letting this one pass by…but I’m running the NYC half in march and have no idea how the rest of training for that will go- or how much recovery I’ll need.
I hope your hip falls in line sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed for you!

ugh! being injured sucks. i’m considering even though my back is broken (not really), but want to do a half and see the kid. run/walk?
I hope your lower back stops hurting soon. Be careful (obviously)!

Honestly it sounds like you have been having problems for a while, so I might skip this year. : ( Being injured is the worst!
Blorp. You're right.
I'm a little heartbroken and SUPER envious, but you are all right. Better to play it safe. There will always be races.

2014 Brooklyn Half...what to do?
Registration opens tomorrow. I want to sign up, but I'm wary of signing up for anything while I'm still injured, despite it being >4 months away.
If you were me, would you go ahead and register, or would you let this one pass by?
