uh, sorry to bother you about your Jean audios, but I was just wondering what happened to the tsundere!jean one..? It's still up and everything but the file seems broken. Was this purposely or just a tumblr malfunction?

Honestly expecting to hear music at some point, but after listening to the piece and doing some research, this is quite the feat. 

I enjoyed this. Very intriguing. 

A cover I did of “4′33″” By John Cage! I took some liberties with the Third Movement so its a little longer than is traditional! Feel free to take a spin at the piece! Its super fun!

Check out this workout I did last night! Very typical RTS Dialogue, but some of the easiest and most fun to voice!

Do you have voice acting lessons open? Of course! They take place over skype, usually last an hour long per lesson, and the cost is $25 USD per lesson. There is more information about them here!

Microphone/Recording Details? The microphone I currently use is a Rode NT1A (which is a cardioid condenser, not a USB microphone), along with two pop filters (one being the RODE SM6 pop filter), and a shock mount and noise treatment barrier (the Auralex Mudguard). I use Audacity to record my voice, and Adobe Audition to edit larger soundscapes. Some recording tips along with more details on my recording etiquette can be found here. How did you get started in Voice Acting? Any Tips? Honestly, just keep auditioning for things. I was asked to do something for my first gig. You may have to audition. A good place to start is Voice Acting Alliance — this is where you will get roles and meet other actors and such.

The next step (or probably first) is to get a good mic. The Samson Q2U is cheap, but only passable. Highly recommended to save up for a better one though, like a Blue Yeti. Very popular and for good reason, too. An important factor is to get organized and stay that way. Voice acting is definitely a time consumer, and you need to have a good balance between auditioning for “just enough” projects to get you going, but not so many that you’ll be overwhelmed.

The most important aspect is to have fun with what you do. People will notice if you’re just doing something to get it over with, vs actually putting irrefutable effort into what you’re doing. That’s also what the difference is between Voice Over and Voice Acting — how much the audience can believe you. And you’ll have to do a good job of that before you can gain your ranks as a Voice Actor.
