I don’t know if I actually pledge allegiance to Le Rasoir National, but sometimes I get so mad I have to draw about it. Words are from the song ‘Oppressor’ by @jesuspiecehc. Also, hello new followers! Welcome to Hell! We’re in it!

Justice for George Floyd. Solidarity with the MPLS protestors. Donate to bail funds. Abolish the police. I'm sending lovingkindness to everyone but the cops. #ACAB #1312

If we don’t stay in our homes now, 2021 is gonna be very FURY ROAD. So if you’re able, just stay home.
I made this in my spare time over the last six weeks or so. I don’t have a color printer at my house, so I had to paint the whole thing by hand!
I might post more about this lil guy later this week if you’re interested!

My friend @unlikelywords did a pro-quarantine rewrite of Jolene and I sang the words over a karaoke backing track we bought for $2.99. Link to the full song in my dang bio

I draw this every year for January 1! It's a line from Woody Guthrie's "New Years Rulin's" (new year's resolutions) from 1943. Don't let the baloney grind you down!

I READ AND/OR LISTENED TO ALL OF THESE BOOKS IN 2018!!! And yes I'm bragging about it! Super proud of myself. Hoping to actively absorb even more knowledge in 2019 📖⚡️🧠
ALSO: Don't let anybody tell you that consuming a book with your eyes is morally superior to consuming a book with your ears—it all goes to the same mind and soul.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would give almost all of these books five stars and recommend them to you.
Fav fiction: "The Power," Naomi Alderman. Fav non-fiction: Can't even choose tbh. Feel like I got my consciousness cracked open a dozen times. The biggest letdown was "Small Blows Against Encroaching Totalitarianism, Volume 1" from McSweeney's—almost no practical advice whatsoever. Seemed like just typical liberal pontifications—you'd be better off reading through socialistworker.org for real.
ANYWAY! 🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤 Special thanks to all my friends who recommended books.
Anybody wanna share recs for 2019??

This phrase never ceases to put a fire in my heart. No matter how many times I say it to myself or what situation I apply it to, it always works for me. “Fight” can mean so many things. Sometimes I have to fight myself to make good work or to be kind or to literally just wake up and get out of bed. Sometimes I have to fight “the man” through whatever protest or action I can participate in. Sometimes I have to fight friends and family members by challenging them on their low-key, casual racism or misogyny. But before I can fight, I have to wake up—I have to educate myself and learn what bad habits and biases I’m carrying around with me so I can let go, be free, and fight the power (shoutout to Public Enemy).
As part of tumblr’s #ArtActionDay, I animated this phrase that I draw every year on January 1 to get myself pumped for the year ahead.
2017 was hard. In a lot of ways, it was very bad. I want to wake up and fight everyday in 2018 to make the world a better place. What will you do?
