Ugh, finally.

Rue and Mint from Threads of Fate (Dewprism). A few people might remember that I once tried to produce my own series of video game walkthroughs with only one installment completed. I've since abandoned the project not because of a lack of desire to continue it, but because it would take an excessive amount of time to finish one video due to my perfectionist nature. However, I did think of several fan art pieces as I revisited this game. It's a niche title that I feel deserves a bit more recognition and I'll certainly do my part to show how much I enjoy it.

ALMOST...DONE!

Finally completed the line work on my latest piece. Would have finished it sooner, but I tried editing my original pencil scans so that the pencil lines would be my line art and the paper would be transparent. Didn't turn out like I wanted it too and it just made more work for me in cleaning it up. Maybe there's a way to digitally ink faster but I want everything to look as clean as possible. Perfectionism is my greatest undoing.

Been busy with a show over the past month, always fun to be a part of the local theater scene.  Performances are this and next weekend.

First time drawing all three members of my OC band (Ja' Pose) as a group, non chibi form of course.  Cynthia on the left (Guitar), Angela on the right (Drums) and Liz in the middle (Bass and Ego).

Finally completed a big hurdle on my latest art piece.  Would have finished sooner but I've been having shoulder/arm issues recently.  Starting to feel better but it sucks when you want to draw, but your body tells you not to.

Had to put drawing on hold while I took care of some issues with moving.  Now that I'm relocated, I'll be working on my projects as much as possible.

Started posted my work on Instagram.  Mark Caso (MK movie stunt man and Leo actor in TMNT 2 and 3) liked my Raphael fan art, nice.

The reason I drew Raphael was to see how far I've advanced as an artist compared to when I was much younger.  I don't think this should count as a Draw This Again exercise because so much time has passed between these pieces, but it is cool to see the progress I've made.   Kinda hard to believe actually.
