In photography, we have many different elements. Like apertures, ISOs, shutter speeds so on. One of the main keys in photography is the depth of field, which is the distance between the closest and furthers object that are acceptable in sharp focus. Now, the first image below is a statue taken in Leicester Square, London. The original image’s background is not strongly blurred because of the type of lens I was using at that time, which was a zoom lens 18 – 200mm, which is again not specially for blur background images, and creating a great “bokeh”.
So I decided to create my own blur background using Adobe Photoshop. But it was not as simple as that, as the entire subject was indeed in the frame. So if I blur the entire background only, it will make it seem weird, because of the entire subject was in frame, I had to blur the bottom part of the image. because of the depth of field theory. I had to make the closest and further object blur to make the image look realistic. And I done it successfully with Photoshop.
In the second image, I finished creating the bokeh. At first I had some problem with the high grass next to the statue. The first time I only highlighted the subject, but not the grass, which ended up making the top of the glass blurred, not making it realistic, because the distance between the statue and grass is quite close, in reality the glass should also be in focused because of the depth of field. But after carefully drawn around the grass and applied my blur filter again, it became better.
In the final image, I edited the image using Photoshop Express. Controlling the Clarity, Dehaze, Contrast, Highlight, Shadow. To create a new image, with new colours, new concept. I also used the “warm” filter to create that warm summer looking vibe. Overall, I think the image turned out pretty well.

What a beautiful view to look. Looking at the combination of the sky, mountains, trees and lake. All the different elements together. There are not a lot of places around the world with this kind of scenery. A peaceful and calm environment
But Switzerland was one of those countries, with not many cities, buildings and skyscrapers. Which made it extremely calm and peaceful and also beautiful
Views like these should be a once in a lifetime things because it is quite costly to travel to Switzerland

A lighthouse is a building to guide boats and ships in the sea. Guiding them to land. But nowadays, because of the innovation of technology, Captains do not require lighthouses to guide them anymore, as they use their tracking devices on their ship
Therefore, all these lighthouses are starting to get abandoned, and eventually no lighthouses are used anymore. Like this one for example, which was based on the coast of a town called Brixham, UK. This lighthouse has serve no purpose anymore and was left to rot
People only come here to take photographs or walks. As the lighthouse has become the source of photography. This image signified sadness and depression

Purple sky is not something extremely rare, but we don't often see them. Because we are all used to often see the blue and orange ones. Light is white but if you put it through a prism, different coloured light waves will be visible. Light travel in a straight line
Violet is always there, but we do not detect it as well as blue. In order to see purple, you must be in the right condition and angle. As I was lucky to have my opportunity

Working on the focusing with a prime lens. Very interesting experiment with focusing. I capture these two flowers with the nice bokeh in the background

Focusing on the pink flower emerging higher that the rest of the leaves. The pink and green gives out a mixture of two different colours.
But what is the story behind this single flower? What's makes it so special? Is it the colour?

An old bicycle abandoned by the streets of Malacca. This bicycle matches the background of this old house. Both ownerships are unknown.
When I look at this, it reminds of even the useful can sometimes be forgotten and abandoned. Just like how useful this bicycle used to be.

Switzerland was a very interesting country to travel. The entire place feels very peaceful and empty. Exploring the town of Interlaken. There were a lots of Swiss watches shops and a few Chinese restaurants.
Saw a couple of tourist. And understood that it was hot spot for tourism.
