Are there any fics using the fact that Jason Todd was dead for 6 months before being revived as a plot device in their fics? Because you could have his ghost messing around and haunting the family for that time and the potential for this kind of fun is lost on retconned versions of his revival.

This series is genuinely one of the funniest shows I've seen, but oh my God does it come ready to emotionally stab you in the back.

Just set all of my fics on AO3 to only be viewed by registered users and I encourage everyone else to do the same. With the recent ai scraping I felt that it was the right decision even though this will prevent many people from viewing them. If you can make an AO3 account, do it. There may be a long wait time, but restricting access to fics is the best way to protect them, other than deleting them.

My brain is not properly formatting my thoughts, but yeah. We should still critique work, but also be weary of personal preference rather than failure of the work. I don't think that was your point, but I just wanted to add that.

This is mean but I do wish more people read absolute dog-shit comics just so they have a basis of comparison for what a bad comic looks like before critiquing something that, like didn't execute every plot-thread 100% cohesively or dropped the ball on some characters.

It's because Terry is not from the comics, he's primarily in the DCAU and a couple of Elseworlds. Terry is also not from a good timeline. For Terry to become Batman, Bruce has to push away all of his allies.

This is not me discouraging creating content of Terry. I love Terry, but he is not a part of any main continuity.

You know- I always hear about Duke, Tim, Steph, and Cass never getting enough love in the fandom (or in canon) but what about TERRY????

and he/him in the comics themselves makes sense because like she was twelve and then she was in juvie and then she was fourteen and then she was in juvie and then she faked her death and then there was an earthquake and then she was an objectivist and then she got put in an iron lung and these are all scenarios during which being closeted makes sense. plus in some of these the primary method of interaction with lonnie is through an observer rather than lonnie’s own narration. if a comic came out this very day featuring anarky and continued to use he/him THAT would be folly.
