omg long time no post, anyways. can any hot and sexy tumblr artists help a they out and give me some tips on rendering with a limited color palette???

for context, this is the piece

these are the colors i was playing around with, i liked the dreamy sunset pinks and purples

and then i gradient mapped it w these colors.

my problem is is that like, do the limited palette girlies keep everything these solid colors, or do you pick tones and shades that would match the things in the piece even if the colors weren’t limited? please help a sista out i beg 😭😭

#2 seems to be the winner all around (img below for ref) with both my co-dev, my besties, a random discord server & the denizens of tumblr so now I can move awn to a functioning menu HUD
