at this current moment, there are wildfires raging through three provinces in my country -- primarily on indigenous territories. we are noticing quite a lack of media presence on this . two people have already lost their lives and more than 25,000+ people have had to leave their homes behind to find safety in other regions and even other provinces.

below is a current map of areas facing risk to fire. we are hearing constant complaint of smoke blowing south into the united states but a lack of empathy for what is happening here.

I like to imagine that haze and V bonded quickly due to them both joining the band at the same time and having to navigate this new environment together. They lean on each other for support

similar to my phantom and aurora hc that they're bonded because of joining at/around the same time as each other

phantom and aurora probably warm up to V and haze sooner than the others as they were the newest members before haze and V. They're the most understanding and supportive <3

not to say the ghouls don't love V and haze, I think some are too used to the new cycles that they're like "another day another papa/ghoul". maybe some are salty about copia being promoted. eventually they all come around to absolutely love the new additions, naturally some sooner than others

The Van Der Linde book club

Eleanor, Tilly, and Mary-Beth like to have small get togethers every once in a while to discuss the books that they’re currently reading or a series they’re all caught up with! They trade books and share books if they don’t each have a book that they’re all interested in. Because Eleanor is out in the towns and city more often (and stealing from abandoned buildings and/or homes) she usually brings more books back to share with the girls and keeps an eye out for any requests by them.

Eleanor has a guilty pleasure for romance books but keeps it only between her and Mary-Beth as Mary-Beth usually lends her some of her romance books. If she were to ever be found out, especially by any of the men in the gang, she would be very flustered and embarrassed, probably threatening them with their lives lol

Eleanor enjoys the company of all the girls in camp but has grown close to Mary-Beth and Tilly due to their similar interests and eventually their book club meetings. She feels like an older sister figure to them.
