Day 3 of #Yoga4Growth is #uttihitachaturanga #plankpose 🌳 Today we took a trip to Norwegian summer paradise #Tjøme where I spent some of my happiest childhood years. We visited our old house which is hidden in a little forest and the garden is filled with all sorts of fruit trees and berry bushes. We also drove to #verdensende which is a #nationalpark at the part of the island that points out to the #ocean. It's amazing how help appears if one is willing to put the ego aside and communicate from the heart. I work an hour and a half from where I live. At the moment there's maintenance work being done at a tunnel which means I miss the ferry and is consequently late for work. I reached out to a friend that I know wanted to get deeper into yoga and asked if I could crash on her couch in exchange for private lessons and she said yes. This is Nora and me. After only having known each other for a couple of days she had to deal with me running naked back and forth across our hut floor an entire night suffering the consequences of a pasta salad in Arambol. The only thing separating her bed and the bathroom, a thin shawl.. Nora is one of the most passionate people I know. So close, but yet so far away. Living in the middle of stunning nowhere also means that getting to Norway does not necessarily mean you're home. It takes me almost as long to get from the airport to my house as it took me to fly to Mumbai. And just when you've travelled for 24hrs+ and you think you're home you remember that they close the road for maintenance work 40min down the road from your house. So hello waiting room for the next 2,5hrs. Is it worth it you wonder? To live so cut off from it all. Yes. #shamelessselefie 🦄 It's my last day in #Mumbai and I am going to make the absolute best of it. Breakfast #poolside, #spa, #shopping and some seriously #highend #dining. This is what it has come to. After three weeks #backpacking, sleeping in the #wild, #gambling with every meal and spending women's day on a bus that were meant to be 12hrs overnight but turned into 24hrs due to motor breakdown, I now just feel like a day of total #luxurious #indulgence 🐚 And finally, for the first time ever, I'm not burdened by what a #yogi should and should not do.
