Special screening of the re-release of #anvilthestoryofanvil #documentary followed by live performance from @anvil.metal. Incredible time. I first met #Anvil in 2009. I was playing drums for Beautiful Creatures at the #rocklahoma festival. We shared a connecting flight from Dallas & a shuttle to the hotel w/ them. Got to know them a bit back then. Great dudes. That’s a wrap on @thenammshow 2022. This year’s #nammshow had 46,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors… about 1/2 of the 2020 attendance & 1/4 the exhibitors. Yet it was still packed and still an incredible experience. I jammed on instruments, saw awesome live performances, attended inspirational talks, & ran into lots of great friends. I also got in some writing sessions during my down-time at the hotel. Overall I had a blast & I’m glad I attended. Next year they will be doing the show in April w/ the goal of getting back to January by 2024.
