New Series Teaser

“I can’t accept new clients right now, I’m already on loan.” I hear a sigh into the end of the phone, followed by a whine about how it’s a really high-paying client. “Tell him to put a request in the Library and he’ll be on my wait list.”

“The top!” Hisses his manager.

“Excuse me?” I huff in surprise.

“The top! Of the wait list.”

I hang up after a minute of back and forth about where to place his client. We went with second in line, after one of my best regulars. The Library has a wait list of about 6 months. Whoever this high-paying idiot is just got in within 2.

Seconds later, my phone lights up in my hand. A request for a book popping up next to the Library icon. I tap on the notification and view my carefully curated front page. A typical library and self-help workshop site fills my screen. I navigate to my notifications button, which leads me to the “Loan Request” page. This is where people in media can request my services.

Only a few people know how it really works. Like my regulars. Select the genre you are looking for; and I will be that for you as long as you pay. Services are included but not limited to: fulfillment of sexual fantasy, travel companionship, and at-home visits.

The rest of the Library is available to trainees who want to learn about the industry, and as a special gift to my clients, they can forgo payment once per calendar year as long as they offer mentorship or a class to those who use the safer area of the Library.

Then you have to expend all your extra energy assuring him that even you forget sometimes

At the end of the day, you tell him about everything that you were able to get done

Then he tries to understand how you managed to do all of those things without your meds

Another one who is a little bit overwhelmed

Kind of shy and introverted and quiet in general

So if you get super-duper talkative and loud he might be kind of thrown off his game

Just internally debating whether he should tell you to take your meds, join in on your activities, or just let you ride out the hyperactivity on your own
