guessing this is in reference of the last ask

So my Two points

1. I made my design before the casting was announced and only based it on book descriptions/my own take, and her race is ambiguous at best in the book and for my own art I wanted her to look mixed

2. If you think I white washed a character, like just say that? If you just send something with no context where I am just supposed to get it, how am I supposed to know what you are talking about? Like fair enough to just send me an ask that is like

“I think you drew *insert character* too pale/too white in your last post, was that on purpose?” I don’t want to whitewash characters so feel free to critique me if you think I did so

that being said I was not happy with the coloring of my original Lenore Dove art, because it was traditionally colored so it was hard to get the exact color I wanted, and like this quick doodle is closer to what I imagined for her

Like mainly make my designs based on the book/personal takes, especially because as mentioned, we had no official casting when I made my og drawings

Will say sorry in advance if you are not the same anon, and you just wanted to cry about Lenore Dove ig, but hey an excuse to just doodle Lenore Dove ig
