i like how flashy book richie and eddie were. they’re coming into a small town in maine and richie wears an extremely expensive suit while eddie wears a big ruby ring and his gucci loafers??? not only that, the mf came in his LIMO. both of them treating this like a trip to paris.

my personality is so manufactured. i own none of it. my handwriting comes from the girl i sat next to in fourth grade, my sense of humor comes from my best friend in third grade, the way i sit comes from the lead character in a movie i once watched, the way i type comes from one of my classmates in sixth grade.... am i not allowed to have something to myself? am i not allowed to be someone?

in every version of IT eddie dies a different way. in the book he loses an arm, the mini series he is crushed, and in the film he is impaled. completely different deaths. but in all three versions eddie uses his last moment to comfort richie with an inside joke which that particular richie would understand. no matter how eddie dies he will always use his last minutes to joke with richie. only richie. in this essay i will -
