Bucky Barnes Request

Summary: (y/n) is in love with Bucky. He has no idea, when someone flirts with him (y/n) gets jealous and reveals her feelings.

I currently live in the avengers tower. I get along with everyone quite well. Except for Bucky, it's not that we don't get along it's the opposite actually. I an love with him and I figured it out a couple months ago.

I've never had a real conversation with him before, mainly because I get to nervous around him and I can't function. I get extremely clumsy and can't form words when I talk to him. I end up breaking stuff and stumbling. It's like whenever I'm around him my legs turn to jello.

Due to not being able to control my body when I'm around him I simply avoid him. I thought I was being subtle and no one noticed. But of course Natasha noticed she noticed everything. She would always pick on me about it. I went to the kitchen to get a snack but when I got there Bucky was there. We made brief eye contact before I walked away.

I walked back to my room. I felt bad about avoiding him but he probably doesn't even notice. I was bored so I decided to grab a book from my bookshelf. I grabbed pride and prejudice it was one of my favorite books. I couldn't begin to count how many times I have read it.

As I was reading my book I heard someone knock on my door.

"Come in" I said. Steve walked into my room. "Do you not like Bucky" He asked. Oh God does he think I dislike him, i didn't even think he noticed. "No of course not" I replied.

"Then why do you keep avoiding him" He asked. I had to tell him there was no way out of it.

"I'll tell you but you can't tell anyone else" I said in a hushed tone. "I won't I promise" He said. I then told him everything.

"Does anyone else know" He asked. "Only Natasha" I replied. He then left the room. Tony then waltzed in. "I'm having a party and you're coming" He informed. I didn't refuse, anyone who knows Tony knows that he doesn't usually take no for an answer especially when it comes to inviting someone to one of his parties.

I didn't know what I was going to wear. I haven't worn a dress in years. I didn't even own a dress. I was gonna have to see if Natasha will lend me one of hers. I wonder if Bucky was going to be there, a small part of me hoped so.

I didn't need to get ready until later, so I had a couple hours to myself, so I went back to reading my book. I decided to go get myself a snack from the kitchen so I headed to the kitchen. When I got there Bucky was already there, not again. You know what I'm not gonna avoid him anymore.

He eventually saw me. My breath caught in my throat. He was absolutely gorgeous. The way his strong jaw line complemented his face and how a strand of hair fell onto his face and his deep ocean blue eyes and his thin pink lips. I caught myself staring at him and quickly looked away.

I went to the cabinets to grab a small bag of chips. But me being super short couldn't reach the top shelf of the cabient.

"Do you need some help" He asked. I was speechless he was actually talking to me. I nodded my head, not being able to form words. He came up behind me to grab the bag of chips. I felt his back against mine, I felt a jolt of electricity go up my spine.

He then handed me the bag of chips. I muttered a quick thank you and ran off. I went to my room and ate the chips. It was time to get ready. I headed to Natasha's room to ask if she has any dresses I could borrow. When I got to her room I knocked on the door. She opened the door.

"Do you need anything" She asked. "Yes, I was wondering if you have a dress I could borrow for tonight's party" I asked. "Come in" She said pulling me into her room.

"I'm going to give you a makeover" She said with a huge smile on her face. "That's not necessary" I said. "Of course it is" She replied. She soon went of to go find me a dress to try on. She came back with at least five dresses to try on. First I try on one that is pink and tight and shows off just the right amount of cleavage but was too tight.

Then I try on a blue one that looked like it was from the 70s. Natasha knows my style so well. When I finally get to the last one it's perfect it shows just the right amount of cleavage. It fits like a glove and it's not too tight.

"I want this one" I say walking out of the bathroom to show natasha. When she sees me she is in shock and her mouth is hanging open.

"It looks amazing on you Bucky is gonna love it" She says smiling. I blush a deep crimson. "He might not even be going" I said shyly.

"I already asked and he is going" She said winking. I smile softly to myself. " I see you smiling" She said. She then started on my makeup. She chose a pink eyeshadow and some glitter, highlight, false lashes, and some light pink lipstick.

It was about time for the party to start so I headed that way. When I got there people were already starting to pile in. I quickly scanned the room for Bucky I guess he wasn't here yet.

After a couple minutes I saw that Bucky arrived he was wearing a suit and looked amazing the suit complemented his ocean blue eyes. I headed to the bar to get a drink mainly I needed something to drink.

After a couple drinks I was getting a little tipsy. I felt more relaxed than I usually did. As I was sitting at the bar I saw some girl talking or should I say flirting with Bucky. I was obviously jealous I wanted that to be me talking to him not her.

She was perfect and gorgeous and amazing at flirting she was making him laugh. I don't know what came over me but I walked over there to him and tapped on his shoulder. He looked at me and I froze was I really going to do this. The answer was yes.

"Um can I talk to you in private" this was the most I've ever said to him. He nodded he looked a bit irritated that was to be expected I did interrupt his chances of being with this gorgeous girl.

We were now in the hallway. "Wha do you want" He said irritation laced in his voice. I didn't know what to say. "I just wanted to say hey" I said. "Hey that's all you wanted to say you interrupted my conversation just to say hey" He said angry. "Yes" I said. He started to walk away.

"Wait I wanna talk" I said stopping him from getting any further away. "Wow you've been avoiding me ever since I got here and now you wanna talk" He said slightly raising his voice. I nodded.

"I'm sorry for avoiding you I just can't" I said and regretted it as soon as I said it. "You can't stand to be around me" He said raising his voice even more. "No it's not that" I said softly. "Then what is it what is the reason" He said practically yelling.

"Because I like you" I yelled quickly regretting it. I was so shocked at my outburst and by the look on Bucky's he was too. "You like me" He said confused. "Yes I've had a crush on you since you got here" I said as the alcohol took over.

Bucky just stood their staring down at me with his icy blue eyes. The silence was killing me why isn't he saying anything.

"I get if you don't see me that wa" I didn't even finish my sentence before his lips were on mine. I was shocked but my eyelids slowly closed. His lips moved in sync with mine as both of his hands rested on my cheek. My fingers went up into his hair as I raked my fingers through his hair.

I eventually had to catch my breath so I let go. I looked up into his ocean blue eyes speechless due to what just happened.

"I've been in love with you since I met you" He said looking into my eyes with love. "Same" I said.
