My friend ran into a traumatizing trouble, I'm gonna call her "A". This involves her (ex) boyfriend, I'm calling him "J".

"A" messaged me one night, she said she wanted to break-up with J but she can't or else he's gonna tell her parents that they had a relationship. Her parents are very strict to her. I called her dumbass for agreeing with a secret relationship to him, girlie didn't even think of the consequences. Told her that her parents are gonna be FURIOUS, but shit already happened. There's nothing we can do about it

On Sunday night, she messaged me again, asking questions on how contraceptives work and some pregnancy stuff. My instincts were telling me something's wrong, I asked her if he wants to do "it" with her but she kept on denying the question. Until she finally admitted that J threatened that he will f'"ck her if she ever tries to say a thing about their abusive relationship.

Yes, you heard it right. "Abusive relationship". He's been threatening her long before she told me what's happening between them. So I was like "Oh that's why your smile fades day by day when you two became together". She absolutely regret loving him.

Next day, which is Monday, I met her at school grounds. She still tries to get along with him as if nothing's going on between them. But she kept hanging out with me more so she can show me the screenshots of their conversations. To avoid suspicion, we acted natural and she still sticks to him but not closer as before (she's terrified of him now).

I told her that she should tell our class adviser what's going on, she kept on refusing because she's scared as hell. She said J will edit her face on a naked body and upload it online and drag her to the restroom and do the deed to her. I agreed to not let the adviser know to see if I can do something all by myself. I scrapped the idea of hacking and deactivating J's FB accounts because he can just make another one anyway

She showed me a ss of their convo, it went like this

"If you won't kiss me, we're gonna have sex. Kiss or sex? Deadline thursday"

Is that a fucking assignment bro? Thanks for the deadline, you bought us time. Stupid bastard

I kept on bugging A to tell the adviser about this, she's still scared. Fuck you, I'll do it myself. I won't let that guy be anywhere near you again. I approached our adviser, we talked privately, showed her the screenshots, she was speechless. The only thing 16-year-olds like us can do is to tell a trusted adult. The next day? Nothing happened. J was in the class, A was absent. The audacity to show his face.

But the day after? We did it. A is now in a different section, J's left with us. The police and local social welfare department got the screenshots, he now has records. She got emotional when I secretly met with her in front of their room upstairs, I joked about banning J on their floor.

Now, we still keep in touch through socmed and in personal. This guy stalks her sometimes, creates different facebook accounts to add her but she ignores his friend requests. Bro is even using his relatives' accounts. He once sent a hand-written apology, it says he still loves her even if she destroyed his life. WOW.

That's fucking all. A is now traumatized because of her first boyfriend. She's scared of loving someone else again. There are chances that she might've turned pregnant by now if I didn't help out or if she didn't tell me about the blackmailing n shit.

Atleast I kinda helped, right? It isn't much but it's an honest work.

Bonus : Since J is left in our room, even though I promised not to spread the issue, I told my classmates what happened but not the boys at the back. Now the others especially the fucking loudest one in our room bully J indirectly, mentioning something that is due on thursday. Our adviser wanted peace and called us out for it so it stopped. Apparently, "deadline" is now a different word in our class.

Hot take : If Filipinos kept on making good adaptations of their Wattpad books, the Philippine film and entertainment industry will thrive

I swear, I'm not being biased because it's my country. I'm saying this because Filipino Wattpad stories deserve attention, it has large varieties of stories and not just about shitty romance stuff, wolf/vampire, mafia etc. IT HAS MORE.

I've seen high fantasy, Detective themes, Mystery/thriller, Horror etc. that don't always revolve on Romance, some of them have one but they focus on their actual genre. With right budget, casting, direction, and cinematography, it will all go BOOM. The perfect examples for this are "She's Dating the Gangster" and "Ang Mutya ng Section E".

It was odd to me the first time I heard westerners' opinion about Wattpad, they kinda downgraded it like they think it's bad if the story's from the orange app. Maybe because I grew up reading stories on that app, that means Philippine wattpad stories are well-written. Although there are cliches when it comes to Romance, I found hidden gems and they are very cool to read.

My only wish before dying is to witness these hidden gems to be brought to life properly and wonderfully. God, please don't take me yet.

Guys, one of my classmates found a cat and took care of her inside the classroom

My friend even put a pink ribbon he found somewhere to her as a collar but a person from another class said they found her first so he gets to bring her home. Even our teacher held her during the lecture so she was a bit sad.

She decided to give the cat to them anyway since they found her first. Hope Mooch is in better hands.
