Into the Crevasse
The lost hiker, aimlessly climbed down from the summit, his excitement slowly turned into worry. The cold wind of Mount Everest, pounded the hiker without warning and without discrimination. The hiker stumbled over a hard piece of ice or so he thought. He looked down and it was frozen body. The hiker's eyes widened and he tried to run in the knee high snow but he stopped abruptly. There was a huge cracking noise, and the hiker looked down but all he saw was snow. The ice gave way from the weight of the snow and the hiker, the hiker began to fall into the crevasse, he reached his hand out to the sun as it began to slip away into darkness, like Icarus falling away from freedom, the hiker fell into the abyss, in which the sun could not reach him.

The War Torn Colonel
The Colonel raised his sword as the horn to proceed echoed through the trenches and out into no mans land. The Colonel and the 45 boys that he lead ran into the fray, with the resolve and conviction to kill. As they ran there, fear turned into courage but one dark thought was etched into the brains of each and every soldier. "I DON'T WANT TO DIE" 5 hours later, the colonel stumbled back to the trenches wearing his gas mask with blood on his uniform that was not on his own or his enemies. The colonel took off his gas mask, and tears of frustration and sadness rolled down his face, as only 22 men of the 45 boys returned from the fray. The colonel muttered, "They all... They all died in... V-A-I-N"

Berserkers of War
The battlefield was littered with young boys and old men. The north and south were engaged in all out civil war. Lead pellets and cannon balls flew back and forth on both sides but the South had a secret weapon.... Berserkers.... They are big beefy slaves covered in hardened mud. The lead pellets can't penetrate, so the North had to either shoot their cannons or use there blades. No one could ever get close because they had jagged chains on their arms and they can be used as weapons

Time is a lonely thing
Imagine being time, an entity, never alive but never dead. You have such influences on all things, you aren't here, but you aren't there. All you do day in and day out is watch. You've watched kingdoms rise and fall, watched the most evil men do the most heinous things, and all you do is watch. Unable to say anything or do anything... Just watch.

Nothing really dies
If you think about nothing really dies because the influence and ideology of one will live on forever. Ideas and influence never dies, only the vessel in which the ideal and influence lived dies, but those ideas and influences are now in the world, all around us and occasionally we live by them... Nothing really dies.

Worst than hell
The Colonel said, "This is hell isn't it?" Trying to make room for conversation with the stranger. The stranger looked at the colonel sideways, "Hell... Hell, never been there. I've always been to places much worse. How many innocent bystanders are in hell?" The colonel said nothing. The stranger continued, "How many innocent bystanders are in a world war. Millions, and I've killed thousands of those millions. Only in a place worst than hell, does children lie dead in their on shit on the battlefield. Never compare hell to war because war is much worst." The colonel stood dumbfounded, as the stranger climbed the ladder out of the trench and onto the battlefield and disappeared into the night.

The time before
In the time before Pandora opened the box, man never had shadows because they were pure and without evil and bad doings. When someone had a shadow they were exiled from their cities because that shadow symbolized the ability to become evil. These people we're exiled to the forgotten lands and on that land, greed, hate and evil was born.

Life is like a battlefield with Roses. We are in a battle everyday, with ourselves, each other, and trying to obtain peace. But there are some moments where it is beautiful. Much like a Rose

To live forever
To Live Forever, most people believe that it is a gift, but to live forever is a curse. In this eternal life you fight, you kill, you committ heinous acts against hummanity and when all is said and done, YOU are left with the memories. You watch your family grow old and turn to dust while you watch, you are unable to join them, all you can do is keep living because you have no other choice. To live forever.

Hated rather than loved
Someone very dear to me asked me one day, "would you rather be loved or hated?" I replied, "I rather be hated." She was very fustrated and she asked me why, and i didn't have an answer. But I do now; I rather be hated than be loved because if someone I loved transpired against me and tried to hurt or kill me, I rather have someone who hates me do it because I wouldn't be suprised, but if someone who said they loved me did it, then I'll be heartbroken, suprised, and betrayed.

He stood over the dead father and son, hands covered in blood and whispered, "In Peace Sons' bury their Fathers. In War Fathers' bury their Sons... But in Hell, both Son and Father fall dead."- Aleki, Civil War, 1862

The boys were simply in that war because of their fathers' beliefs. They were naive and talked about what they were going to do after the war. Little did they know, the war will take something that they needed and wanted, but they wouldn't know what it was until it was gone.... INNOCENCE
This piece comes from a book I'm writing called, The Immortal, enjoy

There were two framed pieces of sheet music on the wall and both had little notes written on them. On the first piece of sheet music it read,
To my best friend, i can no longer play this piece because i have no one who can make piano playing so fun. Rest Well brother.
The second framed piece of sheet music read,
To the man who was a father to me, when i didn't have one. Thank you for teaching me my first piano piece and giving me a chance at life when no one else would. Rest Well Father.

In this reality, Immortals roam the earth and humans hide in fear. The war is over between the 2 factions but still heavy tension. One of the immortals gives a demonstration. He pulls out a gun, and puts it to his head. He then pulls the trigger. The blast pushes his head to the right and he shakes it off. He then yells, "THIS IS THE REASON WHY WE FIGHT. NOT BECAUSE WE CAN'T DIE BUT WHEN YOU WERE SLEEPING IN YOUR BEDS PEACEFULLY, WE WERE BEING TORTURED TO SEE IF WE WERE TRULY IMMORTALS." Then the man opened his shirt revealing the scars on his chest. "YOU TREAT US LIKE MONSTERS BUT IN ACTUALITY YOU ARE THE MONSTERS.
