not going to use this account anymore

there are a multitude of different reasons why i don’t want me and my system to use this account anymore but i’ll be stating a few -l

Our takes on lesboys/turigirls or goodfaith identities in general- we’ve mostly been open about lesboys, but still, looking back on this - (got humbled in an argument a few times, and we’ve honestly been thinking about it long and hard for a while now) what we’ve said to people who identify as a lesboy/turigirl was extremely disrespectful, transphobic, and terf rhetoric. We’ve always ALWAYS assumed that only cis women/men used these types of labels and were intruding on spaces for women/men. But we’ve realized that people like cuspers, abrosexual, genderfluid/multigendered people in general use labels like these. It was wrong of us to to assume that all turigirls/lesboys were all cisgender people. Not only is this harmful to abrosexual/genderfluid/cuspers/multigendered people, but its also disrespectful to trans women who may still be connected with being apart of a masc identity. Also, butch lesbians use this as a reclaimed term, too (Atm my mind is really blank so i will 100% add to this and address further things me and my alters have said transparently, remind us in the comments if there are any other things we are forgetting on why invalidating lesboys is wrong)

We don’t want to use or no longer be associated with an account that has excessively been apart of discourse. We didn’t come on tumblr for this. We only came here to talk to our friend(s) and i guess we all got caught up and obsessed with responding to discourse. I honestly just want a break. Im sick of arguing about gender identities or sexualities as its a waste of my time, toxic, and it will turn me into someone i don’t want to become. I don’t want to be a terf rhetoric or whatever the fuck they call themselves. I don’t want to lose friends because of unsavory things me and my alters say. I dont want to have people dislike me because of my takes. I really just want to enjoy myself and like posts

bad takes on mental illness - specifically npd. Checking our old description, we’ve said that we’d prefer if all people with npd would not interact to try to befriend us. This is wrong, because it demonises the illness (that is caused by trauma, and cannot be controlled). And from what i’ve heard, this condition is overly stigmatized and i am adding onto the problem. I’m glad that we haven’t gone out of our way to attack people with this condition, but its still wrong to say stuff like this

now, i’d like to apologize to anyone, or any group we’ve hurt while saying any of this dierespectful bullshit. We should have at the very least kept our takes to ourself, and wouldnt have verbally hurt any community and person, but we decided to go ahead and verbally invalidate alot of gender/romantic identities, and go against an entire disorder against a persons control. This apology most definitely probably seems half-assed, and i’d like to apologize for that too. I’ve written down the things we’ve done wrong here on tumblr that i could remember, and i hope that this apology can be atleast somewhat semi-accepted.

so from this moment on, we must be good-faith neutral. Hopefully we can look back on this and realize that stigmatizing a disorder because of personal experience, or invalidating someones entire sexual/gender identity because of “i thought ___ used this term only” or because we don’t understand the point of the term, etc.
