Hello hello! I'm here again offering commissions, featuring digital art, pixel art, and even fiction writing!

For a little more info, I'm kind of at the end of my rope here. For those who are not aware, my insurance through medicaid recently lapsed and, with the amount of medical conditions I have and medications I need, this is very bad. I am working on getting coverage again, but in the meantime, I still need my meds.

I have enough for 2-3 days if I stagger my doses, but I'm really not supposed to do that. If I don't, I have 1 day of antidepressants and 2 days of another key med that eases my sensory issues. I have a discount card, available refills at my pharmacy, and am taking generics, so while the price isn't HUGE, it's still something I absolutely don't have.

need to get a med refill + new prescription, looks like its gonna cost around $200. i have enough for the meds, but not quite enough for food / groceries until my next disability check on 6/25. i cant delay the refill at least, i get withdrawals same day if i dont take it.

i also need to get blood tests for my thyroid asap, i have hypothyroidism and my levels seem to have dropped. not to mention i havent had a T shot since december bc texas pharmacies wouldnt fill it, so im getting both done from a primary care im on a waitlist for. ive had a hysterectomy years ago, so without T shots my hormones are all messed up and leaving me exhausted alongside my thyroid issues. im unsure if i will get in before july or not, but i mention this for transparency in case im able to be seen more urgently.

anything helps, even just $5. ill be fine for at least a week with food, but im posting this now before it gets dire. thank you so much if you can share or donate!

This one's kind of a toss-up! I think if you asked Bren, he'd say "loyalty", but if you look at what he really seems to put value in/spend his time nurturing in himself and others, it's "kindness". Bren is the kind of person who would love someone to have undying loyalty to him that he could return...but really, what he wants is someone to just be kind to him. Just once. 👉👈

So I love "Only Be Mine" by Arrows in Action for Bren. It's such a beautiful combination of his pining for Galaxy (and others), his loneliness/self-hatred, and his anxiety about whether he made the right decision becoming a musician/getting popular with Galaxy's help. I especially love the following lines because uh...I think he writes songs about the coterie and couches his affection in tons and tons of metaphor and allegory. He can't be honest even with himself. "The devil you know, yeah he comes and he goes I'm selfish and vapid, I hide in my prose" For an extra treat, check out his entire playlist here!

14: Which deadly sin are they most guilty of? (pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth)

I could argue for a few of them, but I think the one I'd have to go with above all else is greed. Everything belongs to him and that's the way it should be. Yes, that includes Bren. Shouldn't it?

16: Assign them a tarot or other divination card! Talk about why!

I had to do some research for this one because I'm not particularly familiar with tarot or other diviniation cards and their meanings, but uh...I realized Galaxy would most likely be associated with the Death card. Specifically, reversed Death, but all of its meanings are relevant to Galaxy. (Honorable mentions to all of the Kings cards...they were also in the running for Galaxy's card. XD) If Death is meant to be change, then reversed Death is meant to be a resistance to change. That fits Galaxy to a tee. He doesn't want to change who he is, he doesn't want anyone around him to change, he wants everything to be the same in his perfect little world for the rest of eternity. Galaxy is a representation of stagnation and refusal to move on in any way, shape, or form. Also he's a little bit of a skeleton-looking motherfucker. Lovelace calls him Skeletor.
