Being my favourite OC, thinking of her wardrobe was sort of a difficult task but lo and behold: the clothes she'll be wearing throughout No Strings Attached.

Her style is somewhat inspired in the late 2000s to early 2010s. I originally conceived her as a millennial (that would make the rest of the cast millennials as well) but as the years went by and my ideas for my stories progressed, my characters have pretty much passed their original intended generation and become sorta timeless? So I wanted to pay homage to that in some way or another.

PS: I'm no millennial but a 2001 girl with nostalgia for the late 2000s-early 2010s since those were my childhood years.

Kamen Rider Gavv — Caking form

Today's my partner's birthday so as a gift I dis this chibi Gavv: Caking, one of his favourite forms.

Kamen Rider Gavv is coming to its end in just 2 weeks. It is my first Reiwa era series and one of my favourites I've watched overall so far (my ultimate fav is Ex-Aid).

This little present also serves me nice as practice, since I'm still trying to figure out how to draw chibis.

While scripting future episodes I thought of outfits for Heddy and Franek from certain events between them so then I thought "hey, not only should I do their alternate outfits for the Summer and Winter seasons but I should also do Ross', Fanny's and Roxy's too". So while I'm designing the rest, here are Heddy's!

I don't know whether I will add new ones in the future but at least I have these ones.

Expressions are so hard to get. And when the sketch already looks good and you're fearing it won't look as well with the lineart but then it actually looks good (perhaps even better).

It's so funny 'cause I think "uhh I hate drawing expressions" but at the same time "no wait I kinda like it".

No Strings Attached — Ep. 06 wip

Eps. 05 & 06 feature our favourite secondary duo so the few panels where our main protagonists appear have to be pretty. Here are Franek's pretty panels from the newest episode in the making.

Super sentai concept!

Following my marching band magical girl concept, here's the sentai. The idea was like some sort of space ninja but keep it simple, nothing too extravagant.

This is the concept for the leader of the sentai group known as the Wardens. Meet Marcos Kaito Rojo, aka Red Warden Mars. Just as the names for the magical girls reference musical notes, the names for the sentais reference their colour (rojo being red in Spanish).

The whole tokusatsu stuff is still relatively new to me (I did this last October-November for uni) so perhaps, if this project actually sees the light, the sentais might face bigger changes than the magical girls (since I'm more acquainted with that genre). My partner is the actual tokusatsu nerd here.

A marching band magical girl?!

Trying a more anime-like style. Came up with this magical girl concept for one of my uni classes (again, I know shit about graphic design). I'll keep exploring how to draw like this in the future.

My partner and I have had the idea of an rpg about a team of magical girls who are enemies with a group of super sentais (the og power rangers but cooler) for some time so I wanted to explore the main characters for this assignment.

Here's the character sheet for her! Her name's Debbie Reynolds, aka Go-Marching D (like the musical note) and is the leader of the Go-Marching-5!! group (They're all actually musicians btw).

Perhaps I'll try designing the rest of the group. I've kind of been meaning to do so for some time but ultimately forgot and got hyper focused on No Strings Attached

This is the third I did chronologically for my 18th century OCs and one of my favourites. Somehow I finished it in only 3 days (the others took longer).

As with the previous illustration, this is a redraw from a 2022 one I did.

Chronologically speaking this is the 2nd one I did (the previous Róisín one was actually the last) and it's a redraw of one from like 2022.

Back then I did the main 5 that I wanted to draw but I wasn't all that skilled in painting (still am not but omw!). Here it is for comparison:

No need to say why I was never really pleased with it but I remember still being really proud when I did it, since it was still one of my very first attempts at doing this kind of rendering.
