Made with super soft, super thick, hand-dyed fabric. This was my first time hand dying synthetic fabric, and I am soooo happy with how the colors turned out!!

Restock will include, among other things:
4 adult possums, 3 of which may be the last of their kind, as I will be transitioning away from this specific grey faux fur and towards tinseled grey fur for the foreseeable future
5 Bambini, each with different features/ear markings & one which contains a magnet to cling on the back of their matching possum parent!
Stay tuned for more info about some of our other original debuts dropping this Saturday!!
My least favorite part of sewing used to be turning thin pieces inside-out. I used standard turners, but I always poked holes in my fabric.
So for anyone who is maybe starting out and getting mad, here is an easier way:
Additional tips:
If you are using stretch fabric, use that to your advantage and trace the length of your thin pieces parallel the grain of the fabric.
Use a crochet hook that has a tip that is as close to the size of the tip of the thin piece as possible. It will make it less likely your hook will slip off the bunched folds of fabric as you turn it inside out.
Use a basic straight stitch with a strong thread for thin pieces.
Don't trim too close to your stitch. Aim for 2-5 mm of fabric edge around your seam, but ensure you are stick to 2 mm of excess around curves/points.
If you are sewing a pointed piece, at the very tip of the piece, sew one horizontal stitch (two to three for a high pile fabric). This will make your point look much cleaner and actually more pointy than if you stitch an acute angle.
Just finished this Humpback Whale commission!! It ended up being about 30" long and has some great texture and weight.
Commissions are open, so feel free to drop a note if you have a plush idea you'd like to see turn into reality. Also currently working on a pattern that I think you may find "shrimply" delightful 👀🦐
