They might be a bit old.. or she followed a reciept of said dead comrade. Who knooooowwwwss~~

Cue the innocent stare of a child who snacks on her own cookies.

She did think for a minute to feed Terra her usual cookies though to see how he reacted. In the end she didn’t do it though.

She didn’t leave him out of sight. These were her sweets. The bag had her name on it. And she was a hopeless glutton. Like her sister. Even after he told her that he wasn’t hungry Kurome still stayed on her guard. The grip around the beg wasn’t as desperate anymore though.

For now.. she would give him the benefit of the doubt.

“Terra.” she nodded and put the name to her memory. “My name is Kurome.” it wasn’t nice to not give her name after he gave her his after all.

That was only to be expected. Every outsider had to be suspected to either be a spy or alligned with their enemies. Esdeath was only being careful. They had lost too many comrades already.

A soft if not hollow chuckle left the black haired teenagers lips. “I’ve been an assassin for the capital since I was little. Killing isn’t anything new. Killed or be killed like the general says. That’s how you survive here.” especially in this rotten city who had a corrupted prime minister who ruled over it like he was the king.

Quirking a brow at the smaller girl Terra crossed his arms, a small laugh laugh leaving his lips; did she really think he would try and steal her sweets? 

“That’s fine, not very hungry anyway.”

Shifting his stance he continued to eye them down, if she was even remotely close to being like Esdeath of course Terra would be on his toes; realizing before she was just doing her job; there was little trust between them. 

“I see, well then me and your leader have met on multiple occasions, the first being when she captured me thinking I was some spy.

You’re right, I’m not from here and my name-..”

Placing a hand on his hip before he continued.

“It’s Terra, so, you’re part of that Jaeger group, aren’t you a little young?”

               “We Jaegers will hunt down anyone who disturbs the peace!

Seeing as how he eyes her bag her usual reaction kicked in and she grabbed the bag close to her hiding it as much from his view as Kurome could. “I won’t share..!”

It was only natural that the general didn’t share any information about the others.. So the black haired teen hesitated. Everyone knew about the Jaegers though and that Esdeath was the leader of them. This guy had to be an outsider to not know of them. “The general is the leader of a group called the Jaegers that kill those who are a threat to the capital. I am part of this group.” if he was an acquaintance of her boss it was alright to share this information.

“You are not from here..” it was a statement, not a question. But.. as long as he wasn’t part of Nightraide Kurome didn’t care. “What’s your name..?” she couldn’t refer to him as the generals toy after all and Wave and Ran had driven some manners into her. At least she considered to ask for his name.

Quietly eyeing the bag of sweets the other held Terra examined the girl, he was a far amount smaller then he was and obviously knew Esdeath on a personal level; or at least a level greater then he did.

“I see, I’m guessing you know her pretty well..how do you know Esdeath?”

Terra remembered hearing of some of the things she worked on and more so her position, something about an army? He never bothered to ask since his visits were often brief.
