Out of all the upcoming BB fics, I think this is one that I am most excited for! I love the anime Your Name, so I can’t wait to see how that plot plays into this story!

At long last, I am very pleased to share a preview of my upcoming fic Catlantis! Written as part of the @mlbigbang2024

Synopsis:

12,000 years ago, Atlantis sank, taking the black cat miraculous with it - along with the story of how the mighty civilisation fell.

But when Marinette discovers that she's switching bodies with the Atlantean prince Adrien, she has a chance to change the past. There's just one problem - she might erase the future.

Only one thing is certain - whatever happens, the boy she's fallen in love with is ancient history.

Chapter Preview:

Marinette stepped out of the lift and into a room as big as the bedroom and just as opulent. Again, the ceiling was high – perhaps four metres. The furnishings were made of steel and glass, each absurdly large. The tub looked like an indoor pool, yet it still couldn’t fill all that space.

Even in here, most of the walls were glass, drenching the room in light. So much for privacy. But maybe it didn’t matter when you were a godlike distance from the ground.

‘Over there – the mirror.’ Plagg pointed, and she followed his lead to an oversized steel sink against one of the curved walls.

She looked into the enormous rectangle of glass that hung above the sink, blinking at what stared back at her. ‘This can’t be a mirror, Plagg.’

‘Oh, it is, I assure you. Look around your reflection. What do you see?’

‘…the door. The tub. Cupboards….’ With each item she listed, her chest tightened a little more.

She twisted at the waist, glancing around the room before looking at the glass again. He was right. This was a mirror. But…. ‘That’s…that’s not me,’ she whispered.

‘Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of.’

Her eyes rounded as she stared at him in the mirror. ‘W-what do you mean?’

He pursed his lips in consideration. ‘I don’t know what’s happened, but…we kwamis can sense energies and, well…you’re not Adrien.’

‘…Adrien?’

‘That’s whose body you’re in.’

Awareness

So, today I learned that one of the servers I’m in has made the decision to not accept any new members. This is a server that I have spoken of highly because they have always been very accepting and supportive for neurodivergent people.

That has not changed and I respect this decision. I am so glad to see that this server’s leadership is aware of their limits and have made a decision that will positively affect everyone in the server. Rather than let the server membership outgrow the leadership resources available, this server has made sure that things are still manageable to not run themselves too thin.

Perhaps a certain Miraculous Fanworks could have learned something from this? They boast about being the largest (most popular) Miraculous server on Discord, but what do they gain when their leadership is spread so thin that they can’t even find the time to investigate reports before banning people? That just leads to a hostile and toxic community, especially for neurodivergent people!

Thankful!

November is here and as another year quickly winds closer to its end, it’s time to be thankful for the blessings in life.

I, personally, feel so blessed and thankful to have found Miraculous servers (on Discord) that are supportive and welcoming for neurodivergent people like me.

Just a semi-regular reminder that Miraculous Fanworks is NOT one of those servers! Their admin are extremely biased toward neurodivergent people and will find reasons to vilify you, no matter how outlandish they may be. Neurodivergent friends, PLEASE steer clear of Miraculous Fanworks!

If you need help finding a welcoming and supportive Discord server, please reach out to me! Your differences are what make you who you are and should never be used to cast you as a villain!

Disney Demon Slayer

So, recently I was driving and had my Spotify hooked into my radio. The song “From The Edge” (1st ending theme from Demon Slayer) came up on my playlist. My dad was in the car at the time and he said that the song sounded like a Disney Princess anthem.

I think of that now every time I listen to that song. So��if “From The Edge” was a Disney Princess anthem, would that make Nezuko a Princess?
