Got these Displate metal posters the other day. I much rather enjoy looking upon them than the blank empty space that once was there. I’m pleased with my selection of films, only wish there was a Withnail & I poster in this style

I turned 26 yesterday. Knowing that I’m closer to thirty than twenty.. and knowing I have accomplished very little, it’s a frightening thought. Also sad. At least I still have my hair though.. for now. And what glorious hair it is. - Lucien

New year’s resolution, let’s see if I can transition some of my music over to where people can listen to it easier. Haven’t done this before but I’ve put Afterlife on music streaming platforms and plan to add more if there’s an interest so if you use Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes or something, please follow on there get the word out if you like it. It would mean everything to me for our music to be heard. Hopefully some actual progress will be made this year, hah

A photograph from eight years ago and two from tonight. It’s weird looking back. In the past I think I had a vague idea about what I wanted out of life. I mean, I never had a plan, but I used to have a direction at least. Now I don’t have a clue. I do have a beard.. that I’ve allowed to dominate my face in the absence of the job I quit months ago now. And I have unlimited free time to do absolutely nothing of value. Just games. Sitting alone, awake all night. Sleeping through the ever decreasing hours of sunlight. And all I do is wait. Wait for the next game to come out, the next episode of that show I like, the next incredibly rare piece of inspiration to create something. I used to be a creative, right? Did I trick myself into thinking I was creative.. Have I fooled myself into thinking I’m worth something? Is that why I’m still here?

Monster Hunter: World. A game where I can make my character look like me, make my companion look like my cat Luna, then equip both of us with steampunk goggles as we embark on quests to hunt giant monsters with a combat system similar to Dark Souls.
