i'm not sure watchertv would have ever worked because $6/month for 1 channel is crazy, but i think the backlash against them was really over the top. youtube keeps giving us more and more ads, and they also keep paying creators less and less. their own paywall service barely pays anything. so streamers/internet creators are going to have get creative -- some will turn to patreon, some will try and go the dropout/nebula option, some will maybe find another way, and viewers will have to just deal with it and support them as they figure out the next stage in this weird thing we call the internet

The one shining light is that Watcher didn’t ruin the brand by being pedos or creeps in that same manner.

Fuck today, I’m getting really tired of it all.

Everyone is upset and now I’m upset and I can’t do anything about it, at this point I need everything to stop or something.

Im just gonna watch some Detroit Become Human play throughs, maybe that’ll distract me. Not a great solution but its worked so far.
