"i keep, if only for one day"

Summary: During the climax of Weinlesefest, instead of wanting to personally meet the Anemo Archon, Razor wishes to get to know his biological parents and the Traveler wishes to help him fulfill his desire. And that one wine they created for this sole purpose is something precious—maybe almost too precious to give up.

The barrel of wine is done, and it’s supposed to buried for it to fully fermented.

But…

Traveler looks at the tight grip that Razor has onto the wine. Their eyes do not fail to notice the way the young man glances at the wine barrel in confusion yet yearning. So much yearning and nervousness.

He’s afraid, and there’s desperation in his hands—strongly holding onto the one thing that connects him to his parents. He doesn’t want to let go. Never.

Not now, that he finally manages to take a slight glimpse on who his parents are.

The blond outlander smiles comfortingly, their hands enveloping those scared hands. Bright but disarrayed crimson eyes snap to them, and the owner stills for a moment. His grip tightens before loosening, and his stand lowering its guard.

“Hey, Razor,” the Traveler’s voice is softer than usual as if soothing a terrified animal. “It’s ok, if you don’t want to let the wine go. You don’t have to bury it now.”

Their golden eyes glow intensely, locking glances to Razor and they say reassuringly, “Take your time. You have all the time you want.”

The wolf-raised youngster drops his eyes to the previous item he has created with all his friends. His hands continue to have a tight clasp. He really doesn’t wish to let go.

“Today! Just today,” Razor exclaims hesitantly, uncertain and still uncomfortable with his feelings. He looks back to the wine barrel. “I take this. I spend time with it! Before giving away…”

Traveler pats his head, pride and happiness for the younger man clearly showing in their eyes.

“Yes, we’ll do that. It’s your choice.”

Kano Nana wants to smile at the sight that appears before her.

Her usually sleepy ninja-ward looks unusually determined to stay awake. Her Mujina tail swings back and forth from the constant way her body moves. She even lightly slaps her cheeks to keep her eyes from falling.

“I’m not going to sleep today…Or at least, I’m only sleeping for half a day. Hmm, not gonna half sleep!”

Sayu takes a big stand to not sleep at this particular day, and Kano can’t help the proudness she feels for the small girl.

Today is the only date that the shrine maiden will allow the ninja to rest, but Sayu has decide to not sleep. Even if it’s just half a day, it’s still a start!

Kano feels so proud, watching how the girl really does not give in the urge to sleep. Her hands itch to give Sayu the carrot cake, but the priestess will not give in her urges to indulge the ninja right now. The carrot cake has to be served later.

It’s supposed to be Sayu’s reward and birthday cake, after all.

“Traveler, you’re finally here,” the ninja’s eyes brighten immediately at the sight of the blond traveler, and Kano also smiles at the main person who has motivated the change in her ward.

The Traveler grins brightly as a sun in return and pats the head of the smaller girl, who flushes at the contact but does not move away.

After a few moments, Sayu begins to slow down. Her voice becomes softer and losing focus, and her eyes slowly drop. She eventually falls asleep, his hand holding onto a fork of cake. The Traveler and Kano exchange amused glances, eyes softening at the now asleep ninja. They both put on a blanket for the child to keep her warm.

It's truly a nice day.

I finally got a Switch! Haven't really bought any games yet, just tried out free games and demos in eshop but still, I got a Switch!

i actually was thinking of getting a new phone so i can play geshin impact smoothly but there was sale for Nintendo Switch so I might as well buy one now

Guess who used up all her primogrems quickly again? And got five-star charas? I got Keqing in my American account (I so got guaranteed in next banner) and Eula in my Asia account!

I was really surprised with Keqing because I only got few primos in my American account...and I actually was CHOOSING between Eula and Albedo since my Asia account had a guaranteed character.

Eula came out because I wanted Cryo character and I wanted another claymore...

i swear i think that i'm regretting it because next reruns have xiao and ganyu i wanted to have them too and also i like albedo too but still i also like to get eula and change my dps or something

I keep on getting Inazuma characters for my American account and it's not funny anymore. I know that it's technically my fault for using my wish on a banner with Inazuma characters but it's a Hu Tao rerun!

I mean, that's one wish and I got both Sayu and Thoma at the same time... I was aiming for Diona because I needed a healer!

...WAIT, I just cleared that freaking fog yesterday or two days ago!

It's back, why is it back again?! Am I gonna have to find and touch those feathers again?

(ugh, this is making me regret thinking that the a particularly particular author quest seems incomplete...because of course, there's more and the fog's back)
