Hulk Powersteak
I'm trying to get back into coding as a hobby, so I wrote a really simple Python script that generates random names. Like, day 1 CS101 type stuff. Okay, being fair to myself, maybe day 2, because I defined a function and used a for loop and opened files with with statements. Point is, it's like 12 lines.
Some of these names, though.
Crunch Punchman.
Porkchop Slamstein.
Blam Largeson.
Salisbury Slamski.
BEEFSTEAK BULLETOVICH

I love reading through documentation about stuff I can already BS my way through because I inevitably wind up exclaiming “oh, THAT’S what that does!”

I don’t know CSS.
Or JavaScript. Or HTML, or Python, or C++. Who wrote all this stuff? Where am I? Who put these stairs here?
Seriously, a huge problem I have is coming back to a project (even one I worked on less than 24 hours ago) and just having zero idea what’s going on. It’s not like I’m pushing the boundaries of modern computing, either. I was writing a tiny, cute, simple, ugly lil codepen that changes some text and CSS based on time of day using probably too many if statements. And I have no idea how this thing I wrote works. I feel like I have to re-learn everything every time I log into my computer. I think I’m just dumb.
