I know we are supposed to hate Walker but I can’t help but feel bad for the guy. Since he’s been introduced in the show, we see him struggle to hold Captain America’s position because of his insecurities. Then no one really takes him seriously despite being captain. And now his best friend died. He’s a grey character imo. And those are the best kinds

Stree is a feminist film; a history of Horror Comedy genre in Bollywood
Stree is a feminist film; a history of Horror Comedy genre in Bollywood
(This was an assignment by my required module) Indian society and culture largely still hold patriarchal roots. Though this is changing withtime, the progress is rather measured and moderate when it comes to mainstream Indiancinema. The most popular and recognised cinema in India and internationally, is the‘Bollywood’ or Hindi Film Industry. The portrayal of women and female led stories in…

Fate: The Winx saga is getting a second season. Here's why you shouldn't watch
Fate: The Winx saga is getting a second season. Here’s why you shouldn’t watch
The Characters If you are someone who is well aware of the original cartoon, you know that the characters and the bond they shared was special, unique and wholesome. Each individual had their own personality (at least in the earlier seasons) and they all came together very well. In Fate, however, the characters have been converted to resemble one key trait and have no other substance or depth to…

I don’t think a lot of people give credit to Kaisi yeh Yaarian. I’ve only watched the first season but man the show deals with soo many actual teenage issues like homophobia, teenage pregnancy etc soo well. I’m sorry but for a MAINSTREAM Hindi-medium Indian show to do this is extremely rare. I know many people mostly only remember/know the show because of #Manan and the other romantic ships (big #Dhruvlya fan btw) but this show has SO much more to offer. I’m really pleased with the way Kabir isn’t presented as a stereotypical homosexual, he’s actually someone who’s personality trait is not just ✨being gay✨ The only thing I wish they would do differently is dealing with Mukti’s mental health issues. I say mental health issues because idk what else to call it 🤷🏻‍♀️ they just kind of generalised it and said she takes anti-depressant pills but I wish they went more in depth.

Can we stop portraying women who cheat as empowering or victims? And then have the men who get cheated on, do the work and rekindle the relationship despite being cheated on?? Cheating is not empowering 🙄🙄🙄🙄
