Praimfaya has long past, and finally Bellamy was happy. It was almost prefect. He had Clarke, their son Percy as well as Madi, and the rest of his friends all around him, alive and happy. And instead of just surviving Earth, they were thriving, living. The only thing that was left missing was his sister, and the rest of the last remaining humans on Earth, trapped underneath hundreds, if not thousands of tons of rubble and concrete in a more than 100 year old bunker.

I never really understood the phrase "but the world kept turning" until it hit me like several thousand tons of bricks today.

for the last two and a half months I had to study for my exams, failed all three of them, had to study all over again to retake them, have been an unwilling host to anxieties bigger sister, had to manage my totally disbalance relationship with each of my parents, had to double my worktime as a tutor because finals are near, had to coordinate my standard MH issues, had to take care of a whole house on my own and are still expected to wear a happy face and interact with my surroundings.

I got called out for enjoying time with my friends (time that I picked, because I wanted and needed it) but barely engaged in a conversation with my dad (which I didn't want because I wasn't in the right headspace and had about seven other things to do a the time).

I got told by my therapist that I need a vacation because I was spreading myself too thin, and all I could think was "yeah, but I don't have time for that".

I have 8h of socially acceptable time to do shit, and the nights. I can't do most of the shit at night (like grocery shopping, mowing the lawn, tutoring, …) when I would have time, so instead have to do two or three times at the same time, coordinating several students at the same time, study, chose new classes, worry about my future, and on top of that still find time to take care of my self (just the bare minimum).

I sleep, but more often than not wake up with an uneasy feeling, if not vivid images of a panic attack or any other version of a nightmare.

And the world still keeps turning.

It keeps turning while I just want to have five minutes of quiet. Five minutes of no voices in my head telling me that I need to do stuff, no other person asking me to do things, no other obligations or anything. Just five minutes, just 300 seconds, of the words stopping turning, to give me a breather…
