Hungarian Pre-Grand Prix: Real Predictions vs. Delusional Dreams.
A few well known fun facts before we begin.
The first race ever held at the Hungarian Grand Prix was in 1936.
Lewis Hamilton is the driver with the most wins, with 8 in total.
The constructor with the most wins at this circuit is McLaren, with 11 wins total.
Overtaking is incredibly difficult but not impossible, so the drivers need to do well during Qualifying.
It's one of the calendar's more narrow, hot, and bumpy tracks.
It’s been 12 years since McLaren has had a win on this track, but this might change in a few hours. Now, let's move on to things that could come out of this race, depending on how it goes.
McLaren 1-2
Piastri’s first win podium, or perhaps Lando’s second.
McLaren’s 12th Hungarian GP win.
Hamilton’s 9th and second most won track, quite literally following Silverstone.

Three Races. One Legend.
Welcome to thelilblog!
Where I tell stories, and give insights from the world of Formula One and beyond, stay tuned to thelilblog. As I follow the many twists and turns of our favorite drivers careers.
In this blog post I talk about the Triple Header and the many things that occurred before, during, and after!
With the Austrian race being my favorite out of the three, in the iconic Red Bull Racing Ring. We were in for quite a race. That weekend was very intense with many battles on the track throughout the entire grid and with a sprint race as well, Austria is rewatchable for so many reasons.
Remember how I mentioned earlier that during the Austrian GP lots of tension would arise? Well, let’s talk about it.

Starting on pole, Max Verstappen had an excellent start to the Austrian Grand Prix. Seeing as it is his team’s home race circuit. Many eyes were on the current world champion. Max remained the race leader for 24 consecutive laps before boxing and losing time in the pits during lap 24.
In the meantime, Australian Mclaren driver Oscar Piastri became the new race leader, though it was short-lived seeing as Max was able to regain his place during lap 26 as the Mclaren driver went into the pit lanes.
Now this is where things get pretty intense for the Dutchman. Throughout lap 19, Max is being talked through some gearbox issues… But this is just the beginning of his many problems.
“Tyres are suddenly really bad.”

The Ricciardo Effect
Welcome to thelilblog!
In the fast paced world of Formula One, career trajectories can be as unpredictable as the races themselves. Carlos Sainz Jr., with his undeniable talent and driving spirit, he has had a career path that mirrors that of our beloved Honey Badger aka Daniel Ricciardo.
I call this the "Ricciardo effect"— a series of bold career moves that are marked with moments of triumph and adversity, much like that of Daniel Ricciardo.
From Toro Rosso to Renault, McLaren, and Ferrari, Sainz's journey has been a rollercoaster mixed with many trials and errors. Now, with rumors swirling about a potential move to Williams Racing, Sainz's career serves as a testament to the complexities of the sport.
Starting his Formula One journey at Toro Rosso, Sainz had to carve out his own path while being overshadowed by his teammate Max Verstappen.
Just like Ricciardo, Sainz sought greater challenges and opportunities, which led him to McLaren in 2019. His partnership with Lando Norris and his role in McLaren's resurgence demonstrated his prowess as a driver and a valuable team member.

Monaco GP '24 // Post-Race Press Con
"Seeing your teammate that is Monégasque standing on top of the podium in front of his home crowd, in front of all the tifosi and all the mechanics, I think is one of the best images I've seen in Formula One. Extremely happy for him, for the team. He deserves it because he's driven at an incredible level this weekend... It was coming for him, I felt, because he was driving really well recently. Yeah, it's a really good day for Ferrari and Charles."

DO NOT, AND I BEG OF YOU, DO NOT STAY SILENT. ISRAELI HAVE MASSACRED INNOCENT PALESTINIANS IN RAFAH, THEIR SAFE SPACE, THEIR CAMPS WHERE THEY WERE RESIDING. ITS A FUCKING MASSACRE. INNOCENT LIVES HAVE BEEN TAKEN, JUST LIKE THAT. MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN HAVE LOST THEIR LOVED ONES JUST LIKE THAT. AND IF YOURE STILL SILENT, SHAME ON YOU. SERIOUSLY.

Kids love watching planes fly by but in Gaza it's a different story. Our children are not simply enjoying the sight of aircrafts like other babies around the world. They are just happy because if the planes are not dropping bombs on them, it means there is a chance they are delivering even the slightest amount of food they need so much. As you can see here, Omar and Salah are waving dedperately for aid planes as they are heading to aid-drop food far and deep into sea. Salah is even telling the plane to come help him. The possibility of those food parcels reaching them is little to none, but still seeing planes drop aid instead of bombs makes them somewhat hopeful.
After being dispalced again from Rafah to khan Yunis, it has become nearly impossible for my family to provide water, food and other basic necessities for their children and newborns. It is even harder for them to access humanitarian aid now that the occupation has sealed the Rafah crossing with Egypt while Israeli settlers and soldiers continue to block aid trucks at Israel's Kerem Shalom border crossing. International organizations say it has become almost impossible to deliver aid in Gaza because of the presence if the Israeli military. Despite international appeals to reopen the borders and allow humanitarian aid in, Israel keeps depriving my family and countless others of desperately needed food, water and medicine while it constantly subjects them to the torture of displacement at the same time. Airstrikes and snipershots are not the only threat to my family right now. Starvation and disease are effectively used by the occupation to further deepen our suffering and threaten the very survival of our children and families.
Your support is now needed more than ever.

Please donate when possible and reblog as frequently as you can.
We are eternally grateful to each and everyone of you 🙏
