Романа - приёмная мать Серпа.

Она нашла его совсем малышом, что был оставлен совсем один в Черном лесу. Дав имя ему, в любви взростив, она учила его выживать в Птичьих Землях. Так прожили они вместе, скитаясь-качуя по Левому крылу Земель. Благодаря своей приёмной матери Серп увлёкся изучением природы, в особенности различных трав.

В один из обычных и, казалось бы, спокойных дней Роману одолевает неизвестная болезнь, внезапно и непредсказуемо. Она погибает от кровоизлияния на руках своего сына и говорит ему на прощание несколько слов. Её последнее наставление крепко засядет в голове Серпа и повлияет на его дальнейшую судьбу, связь с жителями деревни, близь которой он поселится в будущем, и самим Велом.

Именно к ней обращается Серп в своих "Зимних заметках", страдая от одиночества в заснеженных краях.

after two months, almost 50 hours of work in total, it is finally here!!!!

during the process, i searched and tried a lot different techniques to render it exactly as i intended, redrew it many times, and i am very glad that it turned out the way it is!

i swear, absolutely every 49.5 hours of work was worth it, i enjoyed spending time with it so much that i would repeat it from this moment on.

i was comforted by so many people while working on this, thank you sooo much! this is for all of you, from 0039pf with lots of love 🪩🕺
