Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Extra)
This one is not really a Proof is just another reason to hate Dumbledore:
JK Rowling said Dumbledore was like a self insert for her in her fic, and Rowling is a piece of shit, so therefore Dumbledore is a piece of shit. case closed.

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 9 and Last)
V. The Sorcerer’s Stone
A. What are the odds that Dumbledore sends Hagrid to get Harry and also pick up a super secret very important package from a high security Gringotts vault on the very same day all by accident?
1. Spoiler: Very low. Probably zero.
B. Dumbledore knows that Harry is going to be curious about everything he is being shown. He’s new to the Wizarding World and wants to know as much as possible.
1. So he ensures that Harry catches a glimpse of this very important package that he’s conveniently bringing back to Hogwarts.
C. Dumbledore knows Voldemort was gonna come back. He HAS known, ever since that day in 1981. But he now has Harry Potter, the weapon and soldier he needs.
D. So he has the teachers design a host of puzzles leading up to the stone.
E. But I ask this, if this stone was so important, why didn’t he just keep it in his office?
1. (He wants Harry to stay interested. He wants him to keep digging around and discovering things.)
2. [But he also wants Quirrell, who he must know is harboring Voldemort’s body essence, to poke around. He wants Harry to get used to sniffing out the small details and figuring out who is trustworthy and not]
F. Harry descends into the trapdoor, Hermione and Ron determinedly following him.
1. Sure, it could be a pure coincidence that there were tasks perfectly suited to the three of them down there. But I’ve come to believe that many of the occurrences we believed to be coincidence are not that.
2. They jump on brooms and chase charmed keys around the room. Harry, youngest Seeker in a century, has no trouble with this. It’s almost… too easy for him.
3. After the many mentions of how great Ron is at wizard’s chess, what are the odds that McGonagall’s puzzle is an enlarged wizard’s chess game? Surely she didn’t just spontaneously come up with the idea.
4. The troll has conveniently already been knocked out for them, but they’ve faced a troll before so they obviously could have repeated the endeavor if they had to.
5. Snape’s logic puzzle is a little TOO perfectly suited to Hermione’s strengths.
6. The Mirror of Erised is not a total coincidence either.
1. Why would this crazy mirror that shows your heart’s deepest desires be hanging out in a random empty classroom?
2. Harry sees the family he never got to know in it, he learns what the mirror does, and then Dumbledore moves it to further his puzzle guarding the stone that easily could have been guarded in his office.
G. And now he gives Gryffindor enough house points to win the House cup. Harry thinks Dumbledore is fantastic! He saved him from Voldemort after all. Plus he just gave them a bunch of house points despite the numerous rules they broke along the way of retrieving the stone.
H. He has started building the trust of Harry and his friends already. He knows what he’s doing; his child army is growing.

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 8)
IV. The Aftermath’s Effects on Remus
H. It angers me to think that Remus was alone and poor for 12 years. 12 years he spent full moons alone, mourning the loss of his friends, HIS PACK.
I. And then Dumbledoer shows up and offers him the Defense Against the Dark Arts position. Why now? Why had he never approached him before?
1. Enter: Sirius Black’s Escape from Azkaban
2. Dumbledore knows the boys were close in school, the old man isn’t blind. He knows that they were all best friends and would do anything for each other.
3. So he brings Remus in to keep an eye on him. Sure, he trusts Remus, but what if. Just what if, he was still loyal to Sirius after all these years.
4. He tempts Remus, offering the Wolfsbane potion, three meals a day, pay, and living quarters; a hell of a lot more than he’s had for the past 12 years.
5. And if he name drops Harry, knowing what he means to Remus, well… For the greater good, right?
J. So Remus comes to teach at Hogwarts. He loves his job, he loves putting smiles on these kid’s faces and showing them how special an education is.
K. But then Sirius breaks into the castle not once, but twice. He finds Harry with the Marauder’s Map. Harry asks him for extra help producing a Patronus charm.
1. (He listens to Harry talk about his parents’ dying words. He sees Harry cast a patronus that greatly resembles the magnificent stag he used to watch James turn into).
L. And then Peter Pettigrew shows up on the map .
1. He goes down to his old haunt, the Shrieking Shack. Finds Sirius, Peter gets away, is forced into resigning (by a man with a grudge) from the only job he’s ever really loved.
M. And now he’s alone again. No friends (though he now knows Sirius is innocent), no consistent pay, no idea what the hell to do.
N. And then two years later he watches as Sirius falls through the veil and holds Harry back as he screams for the godfather he barely got to know.
O. He marries, he has a kid, he tries to abandon him because he’s terrified! He watched James and Lily go through having an unplanned child and look how they turned up! He tries to join Harry on the horcrux hunt, but 17 year old Harry, wise beyond the years he has under his belt, forces him to stay behind.
P. He goes to Hogwarts for the fight of his life and dies beside his wife and the mother of his child.
Q. He died indebted to Albus Dumbledore, who gave him education and a job. And all he did in return was go on a few werewolf missions during the First War.
R. All for the greater good though… right?
S. (sorry i get really worked up about remus lupin and sirius black)

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 7)
IV. The Aftermath’s Effects on Remus
A. Alright this topic always gets me super mad. Remus deserved so much better than he got in this world.
B. In one night, Remus lost all of his closest friends. This on top of all of the people in the Order who were dying on missions, and the loss of his relationship with Harry is just breaking the surface of what he must have felt.
C. Since Sirius believed him to be the spy, Remus thought that one of his best friends had been the reason for three of his other best friend’s deaths. I can’t even imagine the heartache he felt upon hearing that news.
D. So now, Remus has no one. He is a werewolf living in poverty and sure, Voldemort is gone. But he is alone. He is broke.
E. Now, I like to think that James and Lily had a will in place just in case they died. I know that I would have, even at 21 years old.
1. There’s no way that James Potter, knowing about what his werewolf best friend’s job opportunities looked like, didn’t leave Remus Lupin money.
2. I find it so hard to believe that James left the ENTIRE Potter fortune to Harry.
F. But Remus doesn’t question Albus Dumbledore. Why?
1. Because Dumbledore brought him to Hogwarts. He gave an eleven year old boy an education. He put the Whomping Willow on the grounds and built the Shrieking Shack just so Remus could learn.
2. And he was so thankful for this, that he would have done ANYTHING for Dumbledore. And he did.
G. Dumbledore sent Remus on missions to infiltrate werewolf colonies. He said he couldn’t tell his friends where he was going. This started the divide between the Marauders. Sirius thought Remus was the spy, so Remus turned right back around and pointed the finger at Sirius.
1. If Sirius had trusted Remus, he may have been a candidate for being the Secret Keeper when Sirius persuaded James to change. But Dumbledore likely knew what he was doing when he formed the rift between the friends.

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 6)
III. By keeping Harry isolated from everyone except his “family” that treated him awfully, it further lead to Harry’s feelings of having only to depend on himself later in the series
1. He was willing to go on the horcrux hunt alone, probably because he thought Hermione and Ron would ditch him when things got tough.
2. Harry also likely felt indebted to Dumbledore who “saved him” from his life with the Dursleys. He trusted Dumbledore easily and was willing to do whatever the man said, not realizing he was being taken advantage of.
3. This is probably why Dumbledore ensured Sirius and Remus were out of the picture. They wouldn’t have approved of the things Dumbledore was doing and would have made Harry see what was going on.

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 5)
II. Sirius Going to Azkaban
B. The Trial That Never Was
1. When Sirius was discovered at the scene after Pettigrew blasted the street apart and cut his own finger, the Ministry took him away and didn’t give him a trial.
-“‘Oh, I know Crouch all right, [Sirius] said quietly. ‘He was the one who gave the order for me to be sent to Azkaban - without trial.’” (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)
2. Dumbledore clearly had the power to get Sirius a trial and chose not to.
3. In Goblet of Fire, Igor Karkaroff tried to name Death Eaters to ensure his release from Azkaban. He attempted to name Snape, but Dumbledore had already vouched for him and had his name cleared DESPITE the fact that he was a known Death Eater.
-“‘Snape has been cleared by this council,’said Crouch disdainfully. ‘He has been vouched for by Albus Dumbledore.’ / ‘No!’shouted Karkaroff, straining at the chains which bound him to the chair. ‘I assure you! Severus Snape is a Death Eater!’” (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)
4. Dumbledore likely wanted Sirius to be out of the question for custody because he knew that Sirius would not have allowed any of the events that happened in the series to go down without a large fight.
5. If Sirius had been granted a trial, the worst that would have happened under the use of Veritaserum is that he would reveal that him, James, and Peter were illegal animagi considering that is the only thing he was guilty of.
- He may have even spent a little time in Azkaban for that but it certainly would not have been as bad as a life sentence.
6. Also, if the Ministry had used Priori Incantatem, they would have seen what the last spell used from Sirius’s wand was and this could have also proven his innocence.
7. Long story short, Dumbledore wanted Sirius to be an unsuitable guardian for Harry so he could ensure he would grow up with the Dursleys.

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 4)
II. Sirius Going to Azkaban
A. The Godfather
1. Sirius was Harry’s godfather as we learn in the Prisoner of Azkaban. Therefore, this means that if anything were to happen to Lily and James, he would have custody of Harry.
-However, when Sirius showed up to Godric’s Hollow on Oct. 31, 1981, Dumbledore did not allow Sirius to take him.
- This is what angers me most of all. Sirius clearly should have been the one to get Harry. Not only because of his position as Godfather, but because I firmly believe that James and Lily would have had a will in place since they knew there was a possibility of dying so young in the war.
-After Sirius, I imagine that Remus would have been the next on the list, then Peter, and I’m pretty sure even McGonagall would have been on there before Petunia Dursley’s name was mentioned. She probably wasn’t mentioned at all to be quite honest.
-Instead, Dumbledore insisted that Harry would be sent to live with his aunt and uncle. Sirius was not a fan of this, but he decided that he would then go after Pettigrew who he knew was the Secret Keeper at the time the Potters were betrayed. Sirius gave Hagrid his bike to use to bring Harry to Privet Drive and went out to hunt down Peter.

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 3)
I. The Potter's Dead
C. The Invisibility Cloak
1. Dumbledore “borrowed” the cloak from James shortly before he died.
2. There’s no way that was a coincidence. Especially because that would have been such a valuable item for them to have.
3. At the very least, James likely still would have died but him standing up against Voldemort would have given Lily and Harry enough time to get under the cloak and escape.

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 2)
I. The Potter's Dead
B. The Secret Keeper
1. Dumbledore had originally offered himself to be the Potter’s secret keeper. I don’t think James and Lily trusted him, considering they would then feel that they owed something to Dumbledore since he was doing this big favor for him.
2. James was also adamant on Sirius being the secret keeper and insisted that Sirius would die rather than betray them (I am a devoted Sirius fan and I KNOW that this would have been the case. They were as good as brothers and he would have never given them up to Voldemort).
3. So Sirius became the secret-keeper and the Potter family went into hiding.
4. In between this point and when the switch was made, I believe that Dumbledore put something into Sirius’s head about how obvious it would be that he was the secret keeper for the Potters. Especially because of him and James’s friendship.
5. This likely was the reason that Sirius wanted to switch to Peter (since he was the less obvious choice). He also claimed that he thought it would be less likely that Death Eaters/Voldemort would go after him.
He also believed that they were throwing Voldemort off the scent since he would likely hunt down Sirius and try to force the information out of him.
6. At this time, Sirius thought Remus was the spy (and Remus thought Sirius was) so Remus was not informed of the switch. He still thought Sirius was the secret keeper.
-Sirius thought Remus was the spy because Dumbledore kept sending him on missions to recruit the werewolf colonies for their side. I think Remus did these out of obligation because Dumbledore had given him the opportunity to attend Hogwarts.
-Dumbledore knew that Remus would go on these missions because of this. Remus was as much a pawn in the war as the others were.
7. The Fidelius Charm can only be broken if the Secret Keeper VOLUNTARILY tells someone where the place is located. This further fuels my anger because people genuinely thought that Sirius would give up the location of his BEST FRIEND that took him in when he ran away from home.
8. I don’t think it is ever mentioned who cast the charm itself, but considering it was Dumbledore’s idea I believe that he did. Therefore, he would have known about the switch between the Secret Keepers because he would have had to recast the charm.
9. I believe that Dumbledore knew Pettigrew was the spy for Voldemort. Especially because Snape supposedly was a spy also and he definitely knew Peter from school and would have seen him at meetings (and if they had to wear masks then he at least would have recognized the voice at meetings). Also Dumbledore was a Legilimens.
10. Peter told Voldemort where the Potter family was hidden and then Oct. 31, 1981 happened.

Proof that Dumbledore planned Harry's traumatic childhood. (Part 1 ig)
I. The Potter’s Death
A. The Prophecy
1. "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... " (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix)
2. We are never told about these times that the Potter family “thrice defied” Voldemort. Therefore, this could very well also be about the Longbottom family, considering Neville was also born at the end of July.
3. In my opinion, I think Dumbledore purposely ensured Voldemort would “choose” Harry out of the two boys since he was a half-blood (like Voldemort).
4. Also, Snape went to Dumbledore and asked him to keep Lily safe (my hatred for Snape is another thing). Dumbledore was perfectly fine with keeping Lily safe and just letting Harry and James get killed.
4. This is when the Potters went into hiding.
