I don't know if this has been said before but Ghosts AU where Keegan meets Logan while on some scout sniper assignment thing long before the Ghosts are revealed to the BrosTM and something goes wrong and they hate each other since.

Cue to a few years later, and they have to work together. They have not gotten over that hate yet. But they'll have to if they don't wanna get interrogated about what the fuck is going on with them.

In "Into The Deep", Logan thought Keegan would just let him die. He did not expect to be saved and shot Keegan several glares. After getting out of the water, he had to be carried bridal style by Keegan. (cliché dialogue incoming) Logan: "I still hate you." Keegan: "I know."

And when finally they started realising they didn't hate each other, Vegas happened, and Rorke happened, and it went to shit.

Since I was super into Wings of Fire a few years back, here are the Ghosts characters as what tribe I think they'd be.

Rorke - MudWing. Specifically the eldest one, the one who helps his siblings hatch, the biggest and the leader. He'd be born from a blood red egg, making his scales fire resistant. After he got taken he strapped a SandWing's venomous tail barb to his own tail.

Merrick - also a MudWing, but the second hatched. He's not a born leader, but if the eldest dies, he has to take the lead of his siblings.

Elias - SeaWing. He'd have dark, dull green scales. Stress from* fighting has made the luminescent scales on his body emit only a dim light when used.

Keegan - look at that fucker and tell me he is not a NightWing born close to one full moon. He has some small seer powers; he gets visions when danger is imminent, but he can't see long into the future. It's suspected he has an IceWing ancestor, because of his blue eyes.

Kick - SkyWing. His eyes are described as being amber, so he'd have orange scales. In canon he can fly a helo; so he gets the best flight skill here too.

Neptune - don't know anything about him other than he's in a sub in Clockwork, so, Sea/Ice hybrid. He inherited frost breath, swimming agility and some of the luminescent scales and spikes; but he can't breathe underwater. His scales are a pale mintgreen. He got the SeaWing headshape, and webbed talons; he has the IceWing body shape and horn shape. His tail is thicker than an IceWing's, but not as thick as a SeaWing's. His wings have characteristics of both tribes.*

Ajax - we don't know much about him, so I think he'd be another MudWing, but he'd be one of the last hatched, with zero want to lead.

Hesh - SeaWing. He got his father's green scales, but they're lighter, more vibrant. Since he loves to knock stuff with a fire extinguisher, safe to say the SeaWing tail is perfect for him.

Logan - as his brother and father, he's a SeaWing. Though his scales are Oxford blue, and* they fade into sea blue on his wings. His underbelly scales match Keegan's eye colour (according to Mell0_Mell0 on Ao3, light steel blue). The luminescent scales on his face form small stars.

Bonus: Riley - in this AU, he'd be a scavenger. Armed with a little spear

CoD Ghosts headcanons – pt.2 CUZ PPL LIKE THEM WHAT (and I have motivation woah). Again, some are silly others no.

(warning ahead for canon death.)

Logan – he never drank before the ODIN strikes, only got a beer for his 21st birthday, and is therefore a complete lightweight. 

Kick – his dad taught him to drive in an empty parking lot at fourteen; each time the team pokes fun at Keegan for his shit driving he’s cackling because they forget his driving.  

Ajax – always preferred warm weather; and oh he knew he’d die as soon as Rorke left. Just hoped he’d live until Keegan and Merrick came so he wouldn't die feeling cold.  

Merrick – after Elias’ death and Logan’s capture, he swore he could feel Elias’ ghost breathing over his neck in disappointment and hurt.

Rorke – got called a psycho for preferring energy drinks at room (or higher) temperature. 

Elias – stepped and slipped on Logan’s Lego Duplos while Gabriel was over; he knows footage of his agony filled expression and his toddler’s shriek-wails is still out there

Keegan – more than once woke up at 3am to check his phone and got flashbanged with a selfie and he didn’t bother to delete them; Ajax and Kick once got ahold of his phone and put those involuntary selfies on a strictly guarded USB.

Neptune – contrary to his appearance he is a gossip QUEEN. Give him wine and you’re in for a whole adventure.

Hesh – was the kid pretending to drown to see if anyone reacted (no one did. Logan started copying him and he did get saved.) 

Riley – bit Keegan’s ass in the chopper after “Homecoming”. (based off of something my dog did to someone). Keegan was too stunned to speak and just… shuffled away.

CoD Ghosts headcanons – might be silly, might not.

(is a bit Walrussy! and maybe could be Elias/Rorke too, interpret as you wish)

Logan – is Riley’s favourite just because. Hesh is chronically upset about this.

Kick – once when a bit tipsy he tried to stick a plunger to Merrick’s head. Did not end well.

Ajax – got the plunger incident recorded on the shittiest camera known to mankind ever

Merrick – when he started losing hair he was caught researching hair transplant treatments by Rorke at 4am 

Rorke – laughed his ass off and told everyone (it’s one of the many reasons Merrick wants to shoot him)

Elias – the day Rorke’s status was changed to KIA he found himself staring at the sky at ungodly hours and wondering if his friend was actually alive and counting on Elias to come rescue him.

Keegan – when he was sent to retrieve Hesh from the beach he found one of Logan’s dogtags in the sand. He didn’t tell anyone; he wears it along with his now.

Neptune – is so used to Keegan and Kick’s terrible driving skills he can take a nap while everyone else fights for their lives in the vehicle

Hesh – after Logan was taken he fell into some bad coping mechanisms. He snapped himself out of it when Merrick threatened to discharge him.

Riley – he too realised something was wrong when Elias didn’t return, and later when Logan didn’t. He laid his head on Hesh’s shoulder whenever the man slumped to the floor hugging his knees.  

(P.S.: I feel Neptune isn't a character per se, but I just like including him, even if "Neptune" could just be the callsign of that sub in Clockwork - that I don't know tho.)

Heya so anyone here wants to know what waterboarding feels like? For any reason, whether for curiosity or fanfic writing.

Okay so tuto for waterboarding: place a towel onto someone's face, covering their mouth and nose. Get water and just pour it over there.

Now how does that work for the person getting waterboarded? At first they'll hold their breath (if they had the time to get air first) but once they exhale they obviously need new air. Problem: the wet towel sticks to the nose and mouth as they breathe in. They breathe in water. It burns. That puts the person in a sense of panic (no shit, waterboarding is literally to have a person's brain trick them into believing they're drowning). They believe they're drowning, they'll panic, and it's more psychological torture in my opinion that physical, because physically you're fine.

Anyways, hope that's a good enough description.

That would make you 16 in 2005. And, since you were already part of a Tier One team, you already had some years of experience. Your files even say that you joined the USMC "at a young age", so I guess you joined so young even the military said "hold up we gonna get judged for having a child soldier".

So my question is, do you even know how to solve an equation?

Alright, so I finally decided to read Dragons Breath

The way you could slowly see Rorke starting to get brainwashed and turn against his own Ghost Team was crazy

Those Fed mf's really made him think that Ajax shot a bullet after him when Elias let him go, to kill him, to get rid of him.

Like, after all that torture, all that physical and mental pain and stress, he actually gave in to the Federations lies and manipulation that he turned against someone he considered a close friend, family even.

This man is the same guy who was still thinking about David and Logan even when he was hanging on by a thread. Same guy who hoped that Elias would take his suggestion and get a German Shepard as a dog for the boys (which, as we can see, Elias did listen)

Same guy who hoped that Elias was tracking him down to find him and get him to freedom, the guy who was counting the amount of months he was stuck there, the guy was repeating a file number in his mind to stay sane and remind him of who he was.

Yet this was the same guy who got hallucinations that Elias was hurting him and eventually gave in to the Fed's and turned into the Rorke we all know today
