DRASTORIA FIC.

I probably looked like a mess striding through the halls right now. I can feel my braids coming loose but I didn’t care, after each second passed there were fewer and fewer people pervading the corridors. Little people lingering meant fewer shoulders to bump into. Shockingly enough, that did not help me get to my classes faster.

Minutes passed and I still didn’t have a clue where I was going. I was starting to panic. My heart pounded at an increasing rate and my hands began to tremble as I passed wall to wall. I hated the way all the portraits were staring at me like a lost puppy. I needed Theodore to help me.

I was pacing so fast in the empty halls I wasn’t even watching where I was going. I bumped right into someone unexpectedly. I looked up and found that I ran right into Malfoy. Literally.

“Sorry,” I muttered quietly. He just held out his hand. In his palm was a familiar-looking ribbon. It was my ribbon that held my braids together earlier. The color was green, a shade of dark green that was the color of a dense forest. Malfoy seemed to be just as curious as I was.

“It fell out of your hair.” Malfoy said emotionless, “I was trying to catch up to you but you were too quick to catch.”

He said his last word like a joke. I didn’t laugh. I was still out of breath and I bit startled that I’d bumped into someone in the first place.

“Oh…” I mumbled, reaching my hand out to take it just before he swiped it away from my reach. I immediately stood up a little straighter with my eyebrows in a frown.

“Shouldn’t you be in class?” Malfoy smirked.

“Shouldn’t you stay out of other people’s business?” I bit back.

Draco wasn’t phased one bit. He just continued to study my declaration with a grin.

I reckon he’s judging me right now.

“Mind giving me my ribbon back?” I asked in a hurry.

The blonde just shook his head, “Of course. Turn around.”

I glanced up at him, confused. I still turned around being the curious girl I am.

I immediately felt relaxed when I noticed the third year touching my hair. The moment was still intolerable, and the feeling of standing up straight was painful to my neck, but it was the only way he could reach my head. The agonizing silence kept baring at my ears, and I had to keep my lips pressed in a firm line as I felt his fingers intertwine strands of my dark hair. Now I can feel the fabric of the ribbon on my neck as he steps away, and I turn around swiftly, my cheeks bursting with red.

If I didn’t get to class soon, I know I’ll be left with a detention.

“It looks like you’re memory has a stain of forgetfulness,” Malfoy taunted, his grin making his face even more punchable than it already was before.

I couldn’t think about that though, he’s just reminded me that I’m going to be entirely late if I don’t make it.

“Need some help?” Malfoy considered.

I shook my head frantically, about to take a step but once again, the blonde stopped me again.

“Don’t lie, Greengrass. It’s a nasty habit you and your sister share,” He presumed.

What is with everyone comparing me and Daphne?

I let out a breathy laugh, “How are you supposed to help me when I don’t even know where I’m going?”

Malfoy is still grinning. A very aggravating grin of his, “That problem can be fixed,” He mentioned. “You’re supposed to be on the second floor in Defence Against The Dark Arts with Professor Lupin.”

“Oh- How would you know that?” I’m even more startled than before, I’m starting to think I have a schedule glued to my forehead.

Maybe he’s stalked me before? What happens if he’s plotting to kill Daphne and he’s using me as a tool!

“I keep a close eye on my friend's schedules,” Malfoys voice was calm as a day in June and it could’ve put me in awe if I wasn’t so surprised.

“I’m your…Friend?” I spoke.

“Well," He paused."You’re Daphne’s little sister,” Something was harsh about the way he said it. It was like a slap in the face or a punch in the gut.

Oh. So that’s what they think, huh? Daphne’s little sister.

Astoria's blood curse

Astoria sat next to the toilet. Her skin was frail, and her body was weak from the cruel sickness that took over her body.

I don't think I've ever been as terrified as I am now.

Blood was dripping down my wife's ears, and her nose too. Just by her expressions, I could tell blood was about to come out of her mouth too.

We had very little time, and I was trying my best to stay strong for Astoria. For Scorpius.

I rubbed her shaky back trying my best to comfort her even though I was absolutely afraid. Not only afraid: I was concerned.

The noise of the liquid hitting the water, made my eyes clamp shut. It was hell seeing Astoria like this and I couldn't bare it.

There was red everywhere. Red was leaking out of her mouth, out of her ears. I had red on my bare hands. I felt tears start to fill my eyes, my vision becoming blurry and my throat gaining an uncomfortable lump.

I heard a strong gasp overcome Astoria, "Draco, it hurts."

Those words were enough to make my heart shatter into millions of pieces, it made my soul tear.

I clutched onto her, hoping she'd hold onto me too. I already knew: She's let go.

"I know, darling. You'll feel better," I lied. "I promise."

Astoria gasped for breath as more blood leaked from her lips. Tears leaked like raindrops from her pale face.

I can't bare to watch this. I kissed Astoria's head, before getting up to exit the bathroom. I suppose it's best if I got a towel for her...

One second I was upright, but then I was on my knees. Shuddering, and shaking took over from the grief of Astoria's lost laughter and smiles.

My sight was blurry yet it was well enough to see my son peaking from his room across the hall. I immediately wiped my tear stained cheeks, watching as he ambled towards me quietly.

"Mother's dying, isn't she?" Scorpius broke the silence.

"Yes, Scorpius," I whispered. "I'm afraid she is."

WHAT I THINK DRASTORIA WOULD BE LIKE ON THE HOGWARTS EXPRESS

Astorias delicate hands reached for the chocolate frog, but it quickly levitated in the air just as she reached for it. She got up from her seat and went for it, letting out a slight whine while extending her arms towards the treat, but it just got higher each time she became closer.

“Can you stop that?” Astoria asked politely too the chuckling fourth year in front of her.

“Say ‘please’ first,” Draco proposed.

Her voice was barely audible, “Please?” Just as she uttered that single word the chocolate dropped down in her hands. She gave a satisfied grin to the arrogant boy, smoothed out her Slytherin robes, and gave all her attention to the mouth-watering dessert.

“Good?” His voice was as sweet as the evening breeze of this September, which always made little Astoria gain the shivers as if she was a deep sea diver making her first plunge in the water.

Astoria rewarded Draco with a hum as she continued to eat the chocolate goodness, all the while Draco was sitting there, grinning at the second year, Astoria Greengrass.

Things Astoria did

During her whole pregnancy, she convinced Draco that he would be a wonderful father even though he was still a bit rattled up by his own father.

Astoria was destined to die young and she knew that. She still had a baby even though both she and Draco knew it would affect her blood curse. Astoria just couldn't bare to leave Draco alone.

If Astoria didn't have a good opinion on muggles, Draco would still be the same boy he was in his first year.

She was so proud of Scorpius when he made friends in his first year!! I think she was also proud of Draco for supporting their son.

Astoria persuaded Draco to apologize to Harry after years of rivalry
