I wasn't the only one who thought of Istaroth and Venti, was I?

If we're talking about Venti being "alternative Jesus" in Mondstadt, then I must say I've already thought about his resurrection and I think, the moment when Venti became a god could symbolize it. Even if Venti didn't die, his friend did, and Venti took his form. Just imagine the reaction of people that saw Nameless bard's lifeless body when the boy that looked exactly the same as their dead friend appeared out of nowhere. They must have thought Nameless bard had resurrected or somehow hadn't died at all.
It's crazy how most of people in genshin fandom don't even know the fact that we have quite a lot of information about Venti's past.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the description of winds of forest in order to prove they are one of the fundamental elements, the Anemo archon tells a story about the youngest of winds, which probably means the one they were talking about is the God of freedom themselves. From the story we're finding out Venti was not only the youngest, but also the weakest among their siblings. However, when they left their family and went on a trip around the Teyvat, plants in their homeland started to die. From this we can conclude Venti is not from Mondstadt and he must have been born in Encanomiya. First of things that indicates this is the almost complete absence of plants there. And the second one is the fact that Astaroth was staying there and helping people of Encanomiya about 3500-2500 years ago, which must be the exact time when she created the thousand of winds. When Venti found out about the situation in his homeland after their leaving, they had to make a choice between Mondstadt and Encanomiya since choosing one of them automatically meant death of the other (Mondstadt was a land of snow back then and after Decarabian's death people would just die there without any food) and I think, we all understand what they chose.

First I wanted to say quite a lot about everything you'd written about, but I understood I didn't have anything to add, I just loved your train of thought. And I get the idea of Celestia being the Venti's homeland, it might also explain some other questions I've had.
We can differently interpret a lot of things in Genshin, because Hoyoverse love to use fairy tales and metaphors when they need to provide us some information about Genshin's lore. I just wonder if they're going to explain all this stuff sometime (probably not) and if they are, then how?

I think, it must be the main reason he became a "prodigal son" in the first place, but not the only one. The second one might be the differences between Venti's and Astaroth's ideologies. Astaroth is the God of time, so she's also most probably responsible for all this stuff with "fate" in Teyvat. She created Venti for some purpose, he didn't have any freedom from the very beginning. That's why freedom means so much for him and that's the reason he has such relationship with his mother.

I also noticed that Akutagawa "losing his memory" is very similar to Chuuya pretending to be a vampire. If you think about these parallels, my theory makes much more sense.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter 119 theory
A little theory about why Ryunosuke may not have lost his memory, and all this is really just acting in front of Fyodor. Not denying the possibility that Akutagawa really lost his memories, but I want to consider a scenario in which he remembers everything.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I can see some similarities with the frame where Ryunosuke asks Atsushi who he is, and with the time in chapter 87 when Fukuchi tried to lure Akutagawa to his side, and he pretended that he agreed. As you probably remember, Ryunosuke also told Atsushi about his lung disease at that time. In that frame, Atsushi looked surprised, and in my opinion not only because of what he'd heard, but also because he understood Akutagawa's plan, since it was after this moment that Nakajima stood up and played along with him.
Tumblr media
So, the main element in all these events is eye contact. In the last chapter, the same thing happens, Akutagawa says, that he doesn't remember Atsushi, shin soukoku's eyes meet, and the only reaction we see from Nakajima is a surprised look. He doesn't have any more questions, he doesn't start behaving differently with Ryunosuke, he doesn't lose his trust in him, he just takes the fact for granted. This reaction can be explained by the fact that Atsushi doesn't have time to ask any questions and think too much about it, but again, I'm just considering different scenarios.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I can also see some similarities in the development of events since Ryunosuke's arrival. Sskk's behavior, facial expressions and choice of words are similar to themselves in the 20th volume.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And the last thing that makes me think Akutagawa has not lost his memory are these frames. The phrases are quite similar, only one of them was said at the first shinsoukoku meeting, and the second after the end of vampirism. Perhaps this is another sign for Atsushi, a signal that Akutagawa is there with him again.

He's so in love😭 I've seen a lot of fanfics where Atsushi fell in love with Ryu, but Aku didn't fall in love with him. So, i think there is a high possibility that the opposite would have happened. To be exact, Atsushi simply wouldn't have realized that he was in love with Ryunosuke. But Aku is too obvious, just look at him.

I don't like to call Akutagawa a dog and usually use the word "cat" to describe him, despite the fact that in the manga he was called "the dog of the port mafia".
Tumblr media
For me this nickname means the same thing as "demon prodigy" or "killer of thirty-five", it's some kind of dehumanization. When a person is seen not as a human, but exclusively as a murderer, as if they are not capable of anything else. In the Russian voiceover, Kunikida said that Ryunosuke's ability is created for killing, and it's awful to say something like that.
Tumblr media
Just remember Kyoka, what a confused child she was and how she really believed that the only way out for her was death, that she was incapable of anything else.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at Dazai, at how he treats himself, how much he doesn't accept the fact that he is the same member of the agency as everyone else, the way he doesn't want to admit his humanity.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you think Akutagawa is not affected by all this?
If we're talking specifically about the "dog" stuff, let's not forget that Ryunosuke doesn't like these animals.
Tumblr media
I am sure that during his life in the slums, dogs brought a lot of problems. They could even kill a child (his friend for example), bite, take away food. Let's not forget that Akutagawa's Rashomon didn't manifest from Aku's birth and he had to survive without it for some time. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't just dislike dogs before, but was afraid of them. Do the results yourself, but I think it's clear why I think it's wrong to use the nickname "the dog of the port mafia".

On 19th July this incredible fanfic came to an end. I noticed it only a few hours ago and I'm still shocked (and still crying). I've been reading it for 2 years and it became a big part of my life(╥﹏╥). I am very grateful to the author for this work of art💗
I really recommend it to everyone who hasn't read it yet.

I don't understand why people in this fandom don't discuss the fact that shinsoukoku can and do talk to each other. I think, the main reason why everything will be easier in their relationship than between any other soukoku generations is their ability to talk to each other in absolutely any situation. Maybe they used to pretend they hated each other and that they were not alike at all, but even so, this didn't stop them from expressing their opinions to each other, showing their real emotions and sometimes asking questions or making demands in their usual aggressive manner.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even when they fought each other, it wasn't silent fights or some kind of one-sided flashbacks like in the battle between Ryunosuke and Nathaniel (interesting fact, the only opponent whose name Atsushi shouts out during the fight is Akutagawa).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, maybe they didn't understand each other for some time because emotions and their worldview overshadowed their minds, but still they really wanted to hear each other and understand each other from the very beginning, even if they denied it.
Tumblr media
After the battle on Moby Dick, their relationship has progressed so much that bickering has become just a habit, nothing more, and conversations have moved into a calm manner.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Akutagawa really wanted to know why Atsushi was doing so much for others, and Atsushi, was trying to figure out why Ryunosuke was behaving this way. Akutagawa agreed not to kill anyone for six months simply because he wanted to understand Nakajima. And that's saying so much.
Tumblr media
Conversations between them were always present, just in different forms, manners, and circumstances.
