so Leona didn’t know what had happened

he was ditching class in the botanical gardens

so when he woke up to his phone going haywire with calls and such he was very annoyed

then when he checked what was making his phone go off so much and found a video of you, up front in front of people he was confused

then when he saw the blood pour all over you from the bucket

he was sprinting to find you

he needed to know who did this and if you were ok

once he found you and made sure you were all right he asked who did it, and you told him about who it most likely was

he asked Ruggie to make sure their bones were snapped to very lightly injure them

those bullies learned their lesson overall, don’t mess with Leona’s S/O :)

Dire Crowley

but when Crewel brought you to his office covered in blood

at first he thought you finally snapped and murdered someone

I want to thank you for fulfilling the last request of Hawkeye![S/O]. It’s fun to read it and cute with Epel’s part with Hide n’ Seek. I have another request I thought it would be fun for you to try out.

May I request Jack Howl, Deuce Spade, and Sebek Zigvolt with their [S/O] [Gender Neutral] [Romantic] who has skills/abilities like Captain America? They have enhanced strength from the Super Serum, tremendous health, fighting skills from their experience in the war/missions/battles, and use a vibranium shield like what Rogers welds during missions/battles. I imagine [Y/N] was from the 40s (as a teen) and just like Steve Rogers, they froze in an icy environment while sacrificing themselves to save humanity which they’ll have stories to tell from their era. I can’t help but think when Jack does his morning runs, [Y/N] catches up to him and yells, “On your left!” Another thought is the reader was training and either with Deuce or Sebek would try throwing their partner’s shield (it could lead to hilarious fails and better attempts).

daily morning runs that turn into races (you always win unless he pulls out his wolf form)

he once asked you how you got into the army at such a young age, and oh boy was he FLABERGHASTED when you told him you lied and had gotten rejected 5 separate times

sometimes when he comes to Ramshackle to sleepover he’ll wake up to you mumbling names in your sleep, each one increasing in volume till you end up waking screaming, those names being:

“Tony...? Banner...? Nat... Barton... Sam... Wanda... Howard...? Bucky?! PEGGY!”

once you wake up Jack helps get you grounded and asked who those people were

After telling him about them, especially about Peggy and showed him your compass, he promises to help you live life to the fullest and stick by to help :)

the first time Deuce met you he was HORRENDOUSLY down bad

after you guys become friends and then start dating, he loves your stories, especially the one about what happened after you first got injected

so you did, very reluctantly

Hello! I see Requests are open and I read the list of fandoms you can do. There’s also no character limit on your pinned post, so I have one with only three characters (if it’s alright).

May I request HCs of the Pomefiore Trio (Separately) with their [S/O] [Gender Neutral] (Romantic) who has abilities like Hawkeye? A world-class archer who is stealthy enough to pass through tough security; can fight in close range (hand-to-hand) combat, and has precise aiming with a bow and arrows. They would have trick arrows that are crafted for any situations like if they need to stop a criminal from running away, [Y/N] can shoot an arrow that tasers them (but won’t k!ll the criminal). If they need to stop an Overblot incident, they’ll shoot an arrow that transforms into indestructible netting to trap the Overblotted individual to prevent havoc until more help arrives. Another kind of trick arrow to imagine is ones that can explode after shooting a few at enemies. Imagine [Y/N] creating more arrows with potions inside the arrowheads.

when you two start dating and you show off all your arrows, he's like, "how much more powerful would you be with potions in your arrows"

also, you sometimes shoot an arrow with flowers that pop out the end <3

*gasp* another archer!! and your arrows are rigged/edited?!

man is swooning and hasn't even spoken a word to you yet

once he does talk to you, you just light up and start talking like, "omg dude I've seen your skills with a bow, it is so nice to meet another archer here, you wanna go shooting sometime-"

but you guys are also such menaces-

Adeuce duo can be chilling and you and Rook will terrify them together

Ace was just asking, "hey have you seen (Y/n) by the way-"

and you answer from behind, "idk man, where are they"

Rook most definitely steals your bow and arrows

which causes you to panic, but at least you find them eventually

also you stare at Rook as if he stole your child (because he did)

shoot each other gifts, like what i wrote for Vil but it's a constant exchange of them

he doesn't know about your prowess in hand-to-hand until beanfest

you guys are on opposite teams and when you guys see each other you both go still

you guys promised to not go easy on each other

so when you start fighting him

he gasped SO LOUD-

you also ended up beating his ass and he wanted to marry you right there

he thinks you're so cool

he loves to watch you talk about your arrows

he got you to teach him how to shoot and he thinks it's so cool

you sneak him out of his lessons with Vil

Vil can turn around for not even 10 seconds and when he looks back

the window is open and Epel is nowhere to be found

Epel definitely asks you to teach him hand-to-hand combat once he sees you beat up some guys

he goes beet red when you guys are training and you help adjust his position

he tries to help you create more arrows with potions he's brewed, even if they don't do much

your so appreciative though :)

when Vil overblotted and you fought him off? man had to resist the urge to scream, "THAT'S MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER Y'ALL"

also you used some of the arrows you guys created together and he felt so helpful indirectly

when he's practicing and thinks he's alone he'll turn around and you’re there clapping for him

"how did you find me here?!"

"babe i have the sharpest eyesight in this school, and you have purple hair"

queue Epel angrily mumbling that he can blend into his surroundings and whatnot

and oop- now you guys are playing hide and seek

and you have 20 wins while Epel has 2 wins

“Alright MOMMY’S BOY, get down here right damn now!” You screamed at Azul, croquet mallet in hand, your gang behind you keeping Leona, Ruggie, and the twins at a safe distance.

“Uh, is Shrimpy on drugs? They do realize how dangerous overblot is right?” Floyd looked over at Jade then looked to the Adeuce duo.

Ace just shrugged, simply replying, “At this point we could all face down the Great Seven and not even bat an eye–“ Deuce quickly slapped a hand over Ace’s mouth.

“Pardon?” Jade watched the scene in slight shock, he knew they were smarter than they looked but this? This is just absurd, but highly amusing.

Epel was about to respond when a resound CRACK went through the air.

Everyone looked over to Azul, who was now passed out on the floor unharmed mostly, and to you, who was sobbing over something.

That something being your croquet mallet.

Which was broken.

“GOD DAMNIT THAT GLASS BITCH BROKE MY MALLET!!”

Leona looked in disbelief and turned to Ruggie, asking, “Is this how herbivore defeated my overblot?”

In front of you right now stood Leona, in all his overblotted glory, this time though you had Epel with you guys though. You all had already dealt with Riddle’s overblot episode, with the accompaniment of Jack and Epel thankfully. But you could speak for all of you when you say that you were all so done with this shit.

“Ok, Cater, are you ready to–” Riddle was in the middle of his sentence when–

“OI ASSHOLE!”

Leona looked to his right and immediately got knocked out by a croquet mallet. You looked down at Leona and saw the blot slip away from his form.

“I– (Y/N) WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?!” Riddle looked down at Leona’s form, flabbergasted at how a single hit took him down.

“Oh thank the seven we took him down quickly– I did NOT wanna go through that again.” Grim sighed in relief while the others who knew the timeline nodded.

“Remind me to get another one. It was pure luck I found that out in the Pomefiore shed…” Epel said, scratching his cheek a bit, mainly glad they didn’t have to do much more. They’d all been trying to make sure the people who hurt themselves didn’t get hurt, and that had been running them ragged as it was, seeing as half their attempts had failed.

“Ugh, next we’ll have to deal with Azul though.”

“Um– do we have to make the contracts– we’ve learned our lesson I think from the first two times–”

“Sorry Ace, but if we go at this a fourth time you don’t have to.”

“Damn it…”

~3rd POV~

The sun was shining, the headline was boring, life was as good as it could be for Albert and the rest of the Newsies.

Albert, Race, and Elmer were in line to get their papes for the day, messin’ around with eachother and what not.

“Hey, Albert I bet you that you can’t sell 100 papes before the end of the day.” Racer said while punching Albert in the shoulder.

“Ooh! Ooh! I’ll tap in too!” Elmer said, fishing out coins from his pockets since they were close to the front.

“Alright bet.” Albert was sure he could do this.

~Skip to 11:50 am~

Ok it wasn’t going as well as he thought it would go, he had only sold 20 papes so far. It wasn’t a bad start, but it could’ve been better. Albert sighed and looked around to see if there were any selling opportunities.

That’s when a girl came around the corner, looking like she was in a rush and a little confused too, as if she’s never been in the neighborhood. Once she turned and saw Albert her face lit up. And, oh my god, Albert thought he was dreaming. She must have been an angel, no one could look that radiant. She had (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes that just seemed to sparkle. 

She walked up to him, and he could just melt right then and there with the smile she gave him.

“Hi, um, are you selling newspapers?”

“Well, yes I am, Gorgeous.”

She smiled shyly and looked down, “Um how many papers do you have left?”

Well that was an odd question, but he answered anyway, “About 80 papes if I counted right.”

“Ok! So c-can I buy all 80 of them?” She asked, looking up again and staring him right in the eyes, nervousness shown clearly in her eyes.

Albert was confused to say the least, what could she need 80 papes for even? How was she going to carry them back to... wherever she was going to? She definitely wasn’t a newsie trying to buy off from another newsie, her clothes were enough to show that.

“I- uh- Yeah, if you want all 80 then you should probably take the bag too, Miss.”

“Oh thank you so much! I promise I’ll return the bag back to you, what’s your name so I know who to return it to?”

“The name’s Albert.” Albert was too dazed to process much at that moment as he handed the girl his bag, this girl just bought 80 papes, fucking 80! 

“Ok, here’s your money, I think that should cover all of it, thank you so much Albert.” She said before she ran back the way she came.

Albert looked down into his hand and- holy shit. There in his hand sat a $5 bill. ‘Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod’ He made a bee-line for Jacobi’s, still processing what happened as he gripped onto the bill.

~At Jacobi’s~

Everyone was sitting peacefully, talking and what not.

“Hey, where’s Albert? He’s usually here before me and Les.” Davey said and went to sit with Jack, Crutchie, Race, Elmer, and Mush, with Les walking behind him.

“Well, Elmer and I bet him that he couldn’t sell 100 papes before the day ended so-” Before Race could finish what he was going to say, the aforementioned boy came barreling through the front doors.

“Guys! Guys! You won’t believe it! I’m RICH!” Now that caught everybodies attention, it’s not every day you have a newsie exclaim their rich at lunch hours. Jack pulled out a chair for Albert, the dude looked like he had ran from Brooklyn and back in the span of two minutes.

“Hey, you alright there Al? Davey could you get some water for him?” Davey nodded at Jack and went to get some water.

“Oh I’m better than alright.” The boy took a pause to breathe for a moment, he may be fast but in his excitement he tripped a few times and had to slow a bit.

“Dude you look redder than a tomato. Also where’s your bag and papes? Race said you bought 100 this morning?” Crutchie asked, worry shown clear on his face.

Davey came back with some water and Albert drank it gratefully. Davey sat back down and eyed Albert, wondering what the idiot did now.

After Albert finished the water he immediately told everyone what happened, and at the end of his story he showed the $5 bill to the group.

“Holy shit!”

“No way.”

Several exclamations were heard around the table, but all Albert could think of was that dazzling face of hers. A face and personality that caught his heart in less than five minutes.

“Damn it, we lost the bet.” Elmer pouted, not wanting to admit defeat. Race just smirked at Elmer and said, “I think the bet is the least of our worries. He looks like a lovestruck fool right now.”

And what Race said was absolutely true, the boy had flushed cheeks and a dopey grin on his face, just staring into nothing.

“Ok, come on Lover Boy, lets get you back to the Lodge.”

“Hm? Yeah, ok.”

“Oh, brother.”

~Later That Day~

Once everything had calmed down and all the Newsies were back at the Lodge, everyone just sat and talked, some playing card games, some upstairs sleeping, and some doing god knows what.

Albert, Race, Crutchie, and Jack were all sitting with eachother, talking and what not. All of a sudden a knock came from the front door.

“I got it!” Romeo went and opened up the door, and once he did he went almost slack jawed but managed to pull him self together. “Why hello there, Beautiful. May I help you?” Everyone quieted down and listened to what was happening.

“Um, actually, I’m looking for an Albert?” Oh my god, it was the angel, the dazzling girl who caught his heart. Once he heard her voice he bolted up and went to the door, lightly knocking Romeo out of the way.

“Oh! Albert, so you do live here, I was hoping my instincts were right, anyway uh- here’s your bag.” Albert took the bag out of her hands gently and looked at the bag. 

“Um, so you see some paint got splattered on it by accident so I thought I might as well try and make it look like they were supposed to be there, I’m really sorry, I shouldn’t have even-”

“It’s looks amazing, Gorgeous.” Albert inspected the bag and the newly painted design on it. It was of a city skyline- Manhattan’s skyline- with the sun setting in the back.

“I’m glad you like it.” She smiled and looked up into his eyes, which also looked up from the bag. Albert glanced behind and stepped out of the entrance while closing the door, trying to get some privacy with her.

“I never got to ask what your name was, or would you like me to keep calling you Gorgeous?”

She laughed and looked down, “My name is (Y/n), although Gorgeous doesn’t sound so bad either.”

“Well may I offer to take you out tomorrow? Just explore the city with me?”

“What time?”

“I could pick you up at noon?”

“So, it’s a date?”

“It’s a date.”
