Welcome to another episode of: "Absolutely based." I hate that the majority of the fandom has like no brain up there. One sentence I've had ever since the stuff that happened to me in the fandom is this: I love this show, but the fandom is just... ugh...
I really appreciate when people (like this person above) speak their mind free. Bold moves, but they need to be said. No matter what the response may be. (Though that response is, most of the time, harassment)
Anyhow, thanks for appearing on my timeline again with a great post!
The lack of fucking media literacy some people in the fandom have when it concerns Jax's character is genuinely embarrassing at times and downright miserable at others
"But the show never SAAAID he had TRAUMAAA!! HE'S JUST AN ASSSHOLEEE!!!"
Have you no brain? Do you need everything spoonfed to you like a baby? Does he need to say "I'm like this because of my trauma" out loud for you to finally get it?
For fucks sake. Do the bare minimum of fucking analysis and read between the lines and you'll find so many of Jax's reactions are literally textbook trauma responses. I'm not going to get into them here, go do some analysis yourselves or just search the "jax character analysis" tag below because I've done a lottt of that already
Point is, EVERYTHING IS ON PURPOSE. EVERY ELEMENT IN THE SHOW IS ON PURPOSE AND WAS PLACED THERE FOR A REASON. NOTHING IS BY ACCIDENT.
Gooseworx doesn't have to say it herself for it to be obvious on the show that Jax is just as traumatized as the rest of them and lashing out is his coping mechanism. You don't even have to look at her sources, it's so clear in the show. All those mini reactions and the moments his mask slips, just for a second. Those MEAN something. The author put those things on purpose, she's trying to tell us something about this character. It's so clear that this show is chock-full of symbolism and abstract exploration, you just have to look closely and pay attention.
He has so much depth to his character that is so relevant and so important to the story and message of the show, but you still got this group of dumbfucks out here all like "YOU HAVE NO PROOOOOF HE HAS TRAUMAAA!!"
Art is made with purpose and intention. That's what makes it so special.
People who don't understand this are the same motherfuckers that complained about "overanalyzing the curtains" in highschool English and never bothered to learn why authors include certain elements in their art to communicate their message. Fucks sake.

Not only is this post great, but I also feel like it calls out the problem once more with the fandom.
When it comes to the fanon representation of the character, in Jax's case, it's rather often to make him non-human or make him seem like an outright monster, which people use as justification for making posts to heavily harm the character or undo any character he has.
People like Jax in canon do exist and everyone has a reason for the way they act. I just don't get why most people can't understand that nowadays.
Anyways, great post and keep spitting your facts man.

Review Time (a movie and a show)
Hello there, been a while since my last post. I initially wanted to post something all the way back in March, but as you can tell, that didn't happen. I am still planning to make that post another time, but for now I wanted to give my opinion on two things that I've watched recently.
A Minecraft Movie
and
The Gaslight District
So without further ado, let's get into them.
1: A Minecraft Movie
Yes, I actually went to a theater to watch A Minecraft Movie and can immediately confirm that the chicken jockey trend is a real thing. I saw it happen before my very eyes. Anyways, A Minecraft Movie. Let's talk about the good and the bad.
Good
The Live Action: Yes, I actually like the live action in this movie and here's why. Unlike other live action, where it looks uncanny, feels lifeless or generally worsens the movie. A Minecraft Movie does a good job with its live action. The Minecraft world feels very lively, doesn't look uncanny and FEELS like Minecraft. I really have to hand it to the people who worked on this movie's live action. So props to you guys!
The Actors and their Characters: Jack Black and all the other actors in this movie did a good job in my opinion. I like some more than others, but none of them made me upset or annoyed me, which I applaud them for that. My favorite character out of all of them is Henry. A kid who wants to be creative and can let his imagination run wild in the Minecraft world, what I love about this is that the villain (Malgosha) hates creativity meaning she is an exact opposite to one of our protagonists, very clever. Which leads me directly onto the next thing:
The movie's Tone and Message: This movie's tone is rather light-hearted, which feels like a breath of fresh air in the current era of movies where all of them need to be serious, have infinite action or be super story rich. Minecraft isn't really serious, may have some action but that is rare and doesn't really have any lore. So I like that the movie takes the light-hearted route because it feels very in character for a Minecraft Movie. This also leads me to the movie's message: Be creative. When it comes to Minecraft, this movie couldn't have picked a better message for it. Being creative is what Minecraft is about. I really don't have anything else to say about the message of the movie, it was a perfect selection.
Bad
Pacing: This movie feels boring and a lot of that is thanks to its pacing. The first half of the movie feels very slow. Needing to introduce all the characters and get them stuck in the Minecraft world while also jumping between what the villain of the movie is doing. It picks up during the second half but nevertheless, the pacing is a problem.
Lack of Natalie and Dawn: These 2 protagonists get pretty neglected in the movie. Which sucks. Please let these characters be fleshed out more instead of them just... being there.
(Lack of) A (mangled) Story: This is the biggest flaw of the movie in my opinion. Minecraft doesn't have a story, a movie's purpose is to tell a story. That's the problem. So what do they do to solve this dilemma? They take Minecraft Dungeons and Legends to make more of a story out of it, but it doesn't end up working and feels messy. Several biomes that are in Minecraft aren't explored and even The End is missing.
I will give the movie one big credit though, the title. You may notice that throughout this post, I've been calling it A Minecraft Movie or the movie or this movie, but never The Minecraft Movie. This is because it isn't the definitive Minecraft Movie, It's just a story among the millions of stories that Minecraft has shared in our world whether that be via YouTube, Discord etc. This story happens to be Steve's and his story is shared in movie format.
One final note here, this is only my opinion. You don't have to agree with everything you see. All I ask of you is to be respectful. Thanks.
While I do think A Minecraft Movie has some good elements to it, the bad elements are unfortunately more weighing than the good elements of the movie. Therefore I think A Minecraft Movie is... meh. 4.5/10
2: The Gaslight District
Glitch's new show has dropped its Pilot episode, I watched it and here's my opinion. Once again, let's go over the good and the bad.
Good
The Characters: The Smiling Dead are all good characters. Mel, she feels like a mix of Uzi from Murder Drones and Charlie from Hazbin Hotel. Honestly? Great way to describe the character. A fun character. Ken, the leader of the Smiling Dead and has a great mix of love for his crew and anger within him. Good character. Mud, a slimy type character who does a good job of being shady but loyal at the same time. Good character. Breadhead, he's Breadhead. Best character in the show. On top of that, characters like Diligence are also good. There isn't any character in this show that feels bad, flat or lifeless. That's all for the characters.
The Environment: It looks very impressive. Great detail, gloomy lighting, gives off a special haze etc. I also love the direct contrast that heaven has. With it being bright, protected etc. Overall, very well done.
The Animation: I mean... I don't need to say why, right? The animation is good, that's to be expected from Glitch. The only thing of note is that the animation feels very similar to 3D SpongeBob movies. Not sure if I'm the only one who noticed that. Anyway, good animation.
Bad
Story: This one is a bit difficult to categorize. The story shown in the pilot is fine, no issues there. But it's the hints of a deeper story going on that bug me. Due to Glitch's attention to detail and another issue I will soon talk about, it becomes difficult for the brain to process the deeper story unless you go through it frame by frame or you are an ARG enthusiast. Which affects the overall watching experience to feel more cluttered.
Pacing: What. Happened. Here. This episode feels all over the place in terms of pacing. First an introduction to the world, then a fast chase sequence to kill someone off, then a well-paced sequence of getting to know the characters, what they do, why the chase happened and a plan that Mel has, then they proceed to do that plan with it going well until it doesn't and everything goes array and extra fast with them escaping, then it slows down again with the stolen egg being a fraud.
Remember what I said about Glitch's attention to detail backfiring on them? This is why. So much happens in this (almost) 27 minute pilot that it becomes difficult to follow along. The first half doesn't have this problem and feels very clear whereas the second half feels, for the lack of a better word, rushed.
Two final notes before I give my opinion on Gaslight District: To me, this pilot episode felt overhyped. Even other showrunners such as Gooseworx were telling people to watch this but after watching the pilot, I'm rather disappointed. So please try and set reasonable expectations when going into this show. And of course, this is my opinion on Gaslight District so far. It may change and, right now, my opinion may make you upset or angry but please, Be respectful.
When looking at The Gaslight District pilot overall, It has great elements but they have to deal with bad elements that definitely tainted my experience. Final opinion? Average. 6/10
WOW, that was a lot to talk about.
Hope you guys enjoyed me talking this much again. This time about these two pieces of media that has been rather popular as of late. I don't really have anything else to say, so I'll be heading out now.
See you around!

Digital Rumor
Apparently, there is a rumor going around that FunnyBunny has a new CEO. Sounds pretty bizarre if you ask me.
The CEO is still @notmado and a false rumor isn't going to stop that fact.

Oh hey, new TADC merch.
I'll go ahead and give my quick two cents on it.
Digital Playground: This one is fine, but I don't have anything to say on it. Just alright.
Gummigoo and Gang (or as I call it, Gummicrew): This shirt goes SO HARD. By far my favorite out all of the clothing shown in this wave. I love its design.
Ragatha Cardigan: Least favorite one. I just don't like it. Not only is the most expensive out of the pack by a long shot for some reason, but it looks so bland. (Ironic that when Ragatha gets merch again, it's the worst of the bunch)
Abstraction Longsleeve: Another one that goes hard. Good design and making it longsleeve was a good choice.
Gangle Scarf: I'm not a scarf person, but this scarf looks great and is also hilarious. Props to them for a great and silly clothing idea.
Bucket Hat: This. is a bucket. But there's more. It has two sides. In all seriousness, very good design. I really like this one.
I'll also mention the marketing for it since I have my own two cents on that as well:
I love the images that they use on the website. (Jax beating up someone and even killing Ragatha? I definitely didn't expect the latter but okay. Kinger on the BIG chess pieces. Gangle with balloons and FunnyGummy win for people.
One complaint I do have though is this: The way it was promoted. The only promotion for this was a timer left on the website that wasn't informed about (according to my knowledge) and then the merch drop was released as a Youtube Short. I personally really dislike Youtube Shorts so I wish it wasn't done in this format because it makes the promotion more bland and fall under the radar.
Though I do have a theory on why this was done: The Gaslight District. It's clear from Glitch's profile and banner changing that Gaslight District's Pilot episode is around the corner and they are building up hype for that, so having a random Digital Circus promo video would be a bit weird, especially after they already uploaded the Murder Drones Animiniz promo video around a month prior. Those are just my thoughts though.
Welp, I hope you enjoyed my ramblings! Maybe I could give more two cents ramblings on things because I got some opinions (possibly hot takes) I want to share with the world.
Until then. See you around!

Hey there.
It's me, the guy who showed the flaws of the Digital Circus fandom. Anyway, some time ago I made a post saying I would want to post here more and I had some ideas. But that never came to be, why is that?
Well... I've got my problems with Tumblr. So in this post I'm gonna list the bad and good with Tumblr and why I don't post as often as I would like.
You can continue reading below.
Let me start with the bad.
Heavy use of tags.
Finding posts on Tumblr is usually done by putting a lot of tags on a post to make it reach more people. I personally have my issues with this. It makes it that Tumblr feels very tag reliant (if that's even a word). Other websites have it where you find posts at complete random without all the tags which makes your timeline a random, crazy but overall fun mess. I... actually prefer this because it means you are finding a lot more new accounts you might have an interest in following. Sure, Tumblr's tags makes it you can stay in a safe space for a majority of the time and find more friendly faces there but if the internet teaches you anything, it's to NEVER stay in the same fandom for a long time. (As if my video isn't proof enough of that). So yeah, maybe Tumblr could rely less on tags? Just a thought.
2. Stagnancy.
Tumblr's timelines that it provides you with (this applies to all three in my experience) remain stagnant for several hours, sometimes days, maybe even WEEKS before the timeline chooses to change and give you something different. Because of this, Tumblr feels uninteresting to scroll through at times. I'm just minding my business scrolling through my timeline and all the posts I'm seeing are the exact same I've seen already. Like... can I have something different? Please? I want to be able to see new stuff and keep interest in scrolling through the site, not the same posts I've seen relentlessly. I don't even know why Tumblr specifically has this problem while every other site gives you new content CONSTANTLY when you keep scrolling. Honestly one of my bigger problems with Tumblr that I really want to see get fixed.
3. Not interested in post? Too bad.
See a post you come across that you don't like? Just press the "Not interested in post" button on it and it's gone, right? Yeah no. Doesn't work like that. I've used this button a fair amount of times to get my timeline to my liking, yet I keep seeing the same posts pop up that I already said no to. Okay... got a reason for that? I pressed the button for a reason. Why am I seeing the same post literally a few seconds later? No idea why it barely works in certain cases. It just feels weird.
4. Make art or get out.
For the record, I do really like seeing pieces of art. Some people make great pieces that I absolutely love seeing. On other sites, I always loved getting a good dice roll and seeing some great art pop up on my feed. With Tumblr however, art isn't a rare thing to come across. If anything, it is the ONLY thing you will come across on this site. Seriously, seeing anything other than art on this website is such a rarity that I'm honestly happy to see anything OTHER than art on this site because I'm so overdosed with art on this site. Want anything on this site? Art is all we got, if that's not good enough for you? Get out and find another site. It just hurts to be honest, it starts to make you dislike art because you get so overstimulated with it.
Jeez, those are some problems there. But Tumblr isn't all bad and negative. In fact, there are some parts of Tumblr that are really good! So let's look at that!
Want to post? GO NUTS!
Oh my god did Tumblr ever NAIL the posting on this site. Outside of the tags, Tumblr has a seemingly infinite character limit, colorable text, being able to spoiler a full message with a "keep reading" bar, changeable text sizes etc. You are so free to post anything you want on Tumblr (as long as it's SFW) that it has to be the biggest highlight this entire site has. Look! I'm blue now! Now I'm orange! And here's green! It's like you got access to a sandbox and can post whatever you want and it is a FANTASTIC feeling to mess around with, being able to express yourself and clear up things without causing some weird ruckus unlike other sites who have such a short character limit that you can't even talk anymore. So yeah, I love Tumblr's posting system. It's great!
2. Open minds and open ears.
People on Tumblr are genuinely very open minded, are actually willing to listen to your opinions and have civil discussions about it. For example, I hate a certain ragdoll character from a very popular circus show. On a site like Twitter? I would get harassed off of the platform because people can't even FATHOM of different opinions. (Especially an opinion like this, it would trigger almost the whole fandom which is not my problem). On Tumblr? People want to know why I think so and have a civil discussion involving different points of views and opinions, being open minded and lending their ears to such an opinion. I still remember making the Episode 4 of Digital Circus personal thoughts post and everyone who saw it seemed to really like it and were able see my point of view about it all, which felt really nice and refreshing after the fiasco of the Episode 3 personal thoughts thread on Twitter. (And just everything on Twitter honestly). Thanks for being so chill y'all!
Those are some pretty good points!
But now, for my part. Why haven't I been posting?
Well, the negatives seen in this post but also just, general life. Everything mentioned in the video that is pinned on my account had a bigger effect on me than you think. But I've been taking my time. Other than that, life is unpredictable, mentality is unpredictable, so you are never far off from something happening to you. But not everything needs to be known online to everyone. Some things are personal. So there's that.
If you actually read through this entire message, then you have a bit of my respect. Most people's attention spans are pretty horrendous nowadays, so thank you for taking the time and reading through this whole post.
I'll see you whenever I feel like it. Have a good rest of your day/night. Peace.
#luca talks#criticism#talking#open for discussion#see I'm already having a hard time putting the tags here#the amazing digital circus#tadc#considering I keep mentioning the show may as well put the tags there#negative#positive#opinion#opinions#explanation#personal thoughts#tumblr

Greetings everyone!
You may noticed that I disappeared for 2 weeks. The reasons as to why were two things: - Life stuff - The situation Life stuff explains itself, life isn't easy.
As for the other one, I wanted to keep silent on my accounts to make sure that the situation can sink in, so people can catch up on what's happening. (Speaking of, if you watched the video, I hope you can take its advice and spread its word. I genuinely want the Digital Circus fandom to be better.) I initially wanted to keep off for only a week but after some stuff happened, I felt that it was better to give it two weeks.
But now, I'm back and I feel ready to post again! I got at least one review planned for a BIG game so be ready for when I get around to posting that.
Other than that, have a good rest of your day! It's nice to be back.

What was your favorite thing about this year? :3
Good question, this year was ROUGH.
I had a lot of fun gaming this year though. So many different game genres, game worlds etc. So if I have to highlight anything, it would have to be the gaming I did this year.

Digital Circus Episode 4 talk!
Been a while since I did some yapping about Digital Circus publicly, and I feel like doing it again. So... did someone say: "adventure?"
Quick disclaimer!
Personal thoughts and feelings will bleed into this, so there is a possible chance some of my wording may tip you off or my opinions may not align with yours. If that doesn't really suit you then you can take your leave from this post. I just wanna go talk my mind free about a show I love and I'm not looking to change anyone's opinions. Also there will be SPOILERS!!! You have been warned. Alright, time to clock in!
First up... Let's speak to the manager! GANGLE!
Full stop: I LOVED HER in this episode. Gangle having a character and personality unique to her is already a big win, but the way the episode handled it... my god. The masking, the interactions she had, the depression, the lore, the... JUST ALL OF IT! And good lord, parts of it feel relatable. (I'll get into that a bit later though with someone else)
She really is the biggest highlight of the episode, which makes sense because it is her episode. Though surprisingly enough, she is not my main focus for this blog. I wish I had more to say but there are many other people out there who can speak for Gangle and I'd recommend those blogs, you can find them all over Tumblr and they are some great reads!
My personal focus however, is on... JAX!
Ah, my favorite character in the show. AND MY GOD IS HE RELATABLE IN THIS EPISODE. Time taking forever, higher ups putting on facades wanting you to work harder (which gets annoying pretty quickly), being more genuine when alone. If I am in anyone's shoes the most in this episode, it's Jax. That being said, he is still his loveable Jax self from time to time. Yeeting Ragatha into the deep fryer, bantering with Zooble, unamused with Gangle. The usual lovely package! Honestly, one of my favorite things in this episode is that after Jax goes through that employee re-evaluation, he looks at the clock, gets pissed off AND COMPLETELY FORGETS ABOUT THE RE-EVALUATION HE JUST WENT THROUGH. HE JUST DROPS BACK INTO HIS MOOD FROM BEFORE (just more tired) AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED. What I also love about this episode is more of his genuine side. Talking to Pomni and after clocking out. Gotta love the human side of a human! I'm very interested to see how Jax will be like in Episodes 5 and 6. I'm personally hoping he will be just as great as he was here!
Alright, next employee... ZOOBLE!
Great employee, good score. No but really, I love Zooble in this episode. Them interacting with Gangle brings out a whole new side to them which I loved seeing. One of my favorite things about Zooble is how they are always honest. It makes them come off as much more real which I respect a lot. They aren't afraid to speak their mind free. We did see this in the previous episode with Caine where this works in a negative way. Whereas here with Gangle it works in a positive way and I'm all here for it. Goose also said that this Zooble design is her favorite and I can see why, the design looks great and even made for a 2 second gag which was pretty funny. If Goose has more Zooble screentime for future episodes, then I would love to see that!
Next up, we have... POMNI!
I like her in this episode! Having some heart to hearts with Gangle and the whole Gummigoo thing which... youch, that must hurt. I also like that this episode shows some more of Pomni's caring side. (I just realized that she speaks with Gummigoo again and then later has two heart to heart moments with Gangle and I find that rather funny, is Gummigoo a special sign?) Other than that, aside from her interactions with the NPCs and a small interaction with Jax, I actually don't have much to say about her. She's fine this episode but doesn't appear too much. Which, again, is understandable considering how many characters this show has. You keep going girl!
Okay... next up... AHA! CAINE!
Even though Caine didn't appear much in this episode, I still like what we got of him in this episode. Caine's glitching again, definitely some foreshadowing there. Though here's an interesting question: Does Caine have a bad memory? He forgot about Zooble's problem back in Episode 3 and now here, he forgot about the suggestion box. It would be interesting if that's the case. I'm not entirely sure if it's true though because he does seem to remember certain things such as Human and NPC difference and not wanting to mix that up. Nevertheless it's an interesting question to feed the mind, let me know what you guys think! Not much else to say for Caine so let's keep going!
Oh. Hey Kinger!
Yeah I do want to briefly mention Kinger. One line to explain why he isn't on the adventure but that is pretty funny. And it makes sense why he wasn't on the adventure, he had episode 3 which... (looks at all the Kinger content from October) yeah I think that says enough. Maybe next time Kinger!
Lastly... Ragatha!
Okay... Ragatha. For the people unaware, Ragatha is my least favorite character in this show. I hate the whole "nice" facade she puts on. Which is why I was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked her in this episode! This is mainly the result of her being dumb sauced which makes her more impulsively honest, and that's why I like her in this episode. She's more "honest" (using quotations since I don't think she's evil or anything, just honest in the moment which is something the brain can do at times) and not wearing her facade. She feels more real as a person this way and it makes me interested to see how this plays into Episode 5. You can't keep a facade going forever, it breaks or the person drops the act eventually. If we get to see more of this side of Ragatha, then I might be able to genuinely like her as a character. But Episode 5 is most likely to hold that answer and we aren't there just yet. Overall verdict on Ragatha, I like her this episode because she isn't faking it.
Hold on! One more group of customers! NPCS!
I like that the NPCs had a somewhat more active role in this episode. Seeing some returning faces (a payoff to Ragatha's line in Episode 2) and also how different each one can be. I love how the mannequins all have different personalities, I love how the Gloink Queen is a mother, I love that Orbsman looks like he's from Mario 64 and you gotta love the Gummicrew being back! The little moments with Pomni and Gummigoo were great, I really liked them!
PHEW... That was a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG day of work... Time to clock out.
Hope you all enjoyed my ramblings about Episode 4! It was a lot of fun talking about this episode considering it's my second favorite episode (so far) in the entire show! I'm gonna drive home now. See you next time when I post something on here!
