With each passing day Jon’s life increasingly falls apart. Like S4 started and bro just woke out of a coma, most of his friends are dead, the ones that ARE alive absolutely despise him (for being in a coma apparently??), his work crush/bf is purposefully avoiding him, and he just had to rip out his literal fucking rib to save some murderous, bloodthirsty and dirt-traumatized cop.

Meanwhile in Night Vale my boy Cecil has been in the sweetest relationship imaginable, his obsessive behavior has been steadily growing more sane, he just beat the corporate bad guys™ and everything has been seemingly falling into place.

HEYAAAAA spoiler alert despite turning 18 in under a month, I’m actually super cringe SO I’ve created a TMA rp/ask blog @worst-archivist.

I know I have like two followers here but this is where I post of my TMA shit, and if anyone is down, feel free to interact with it LMAO. This side blog has been giving me an excuse to write my head canons and au ideas, and I’m always up for a rp/ask from ANYONE haha. “Statement of Nat… Natalie… ah, bloody hell…”

The tape recorder switched off.

This was the fifth time now that he’s stuttered on the name ‘Natalie Calliope.’ He wasn’t sure why he was having so much trouble with this statement specifically, but even in his exhausted state it was pissing him off.

He always had the slightest hint of a stutter, usually consequential from his high stress levels, but the only stress Jon was feeling right now was that he couldn’t get this damn name straight.

Too bad for Jon, he hadn’t noticed the clock on his desk was blinking 4:53 A.M. His stutter only got worse as the creases deepened beneath his eyes. However, the perfectionist in him wouldn’t let him sleep until this statement was finished. He would stay here in these damned stuffy archives until he finally got it right. Just him, the statement, and his recorder…

Or so he thought.

Just as he began his 6th try, footsteps echoed from the corridors behind him, stopping just five feet from where he sat. Maybe if he HAD noticed the time, he would’ve been scared or concerned that someone had entered the institute over 7 hours past close. But he hadn’t. In his mind, it was still 7pm. And in his mind, he was absolutely furious that another attempt was ruined.

In a frenzy, he slammed the papers down as he stood up from his desk, and looked the stranger dead in the eyes. His glasses slipped ever so slightly from his nose bridge, and despite his fit of rage he couldn’t help but nudge them back into place. He might’ve been pissed but he still needed to see who exactly he was pissed AT, after all.

“What. The hell. Do you want.”

Finally, I’m back at it again with another rp/ask blog after 3 years LMAO. Hello world I’m back 😳. Anyways, my name is Lilith! A more proper intro (including rules and tags) is pinned, so I highly recommend checking that out.

If you’re too bored or lazy to do so, this blog is based on season 1 Jonathan Sims from the horror fiction podcast The Magnus Archives. For now, Jon will stay fairly close to canon. As time goes on however, I’d love for this to derail into something different entirely.

remember that time the admiral crawled into Jon's lap, shoved his furry butt in his face, and started purring up a storm because of how much he loved him. and then Jon said "yes, yes, I love you too" and started giving him belly rubs. y'all remember that.

do y'all also remember the horror trope of animals being sensitive to the supernatural and how they would growl/hiss at monsters and inhuman impersonators and whatnot. and how, in a season during which Jon is starting to really struggle with whether he's human or not, the admiral shows him just as much love and demands just as much affection from him as he likely would if jon wasn't getting eye-ified. he's not entirely human anymore but the admiral still demands belly rubs. y'all ever think about that.

Okay so I’m around ep 106 of tma and the mysterious locked casket was brought up again in 101 and I’m thinking it has something to do with this “unknowing” ordeal and stuff because you know. Obvious reasons I won’t get into.
