Meteor Garden (about a third through)

So I've been watching this for a while and I think I like this one more than Boys Over Flowers? I don't really know yet, but I like the cast a lot.

*Spoilers*

Basically, the most recent events have been Ah Si getting beaten up by the gang that kidnaps Shancai, and then them being in the hospital and a little after that ordeal. I feel like the further into the show i get the more it will drift away from Boys Over Flowers' plot line. Like, all the big events will be taken care of within the first 30 episodes. I also think in Meteor Garden, there's more visible romantic interest between the characters, such as Ah Si and Shancai as well as Xiaoyou and Ximen.

That's kinda all. I just wanted to say where I was at so far. Last note, I think Ximen is my favorite :)

The Cruel Prince ~1~

So recently I started this book and I have no idea what chapter I am on as I am reading online and it does not tell me for some reason. But it is very good.

Anyways, this book is about a girl named Jude, who is born human but lives in Faerieland (the place where faeries and such live). She wants to become a knight but as a human in Faerieland it is difficult for her to accomplish her goal. She is very stubborn and determined but this makes her stand out in ways that will not benefit her.

Now what I think without any spoilers:

I typically enjoy books with faes and other worlds, so that makes me like this book already. The main character is very relatable in a sense because her emotions are prominent and yet confusing even to her. This is just what I think about the main character.

While there is also her sisters Vivienne, or Vivi, and Taryn, her twin. Vivi has a more minor role in comparison to Taryn but she appears very strong-minded and willed. Taryn confuses me a little as she is just set on falling in love. But they are both good characters and Jude loves them because they are her sisters. Jude also has a younger half brother named Oak. He's also a minor character but he seems very cute so far, but also, as most children, naïve.

Now we get to the bullies. Their names are Cardan, Valerian, Nicasia, and Locke. Cardan is the male lead though he can technically be considered a second lead. He is the meanest of the quartet and the youngest prince of the land, with 5 older siblings. Valerian has a taste for blood and is very aggressive. Nicasia is the only girl of the four and seems to just do as she's told while flirting with the boys. Lastly is Locke, who currently confuses me. He is not as mean as the others, doesn't fully participate in their bullying but doesn't stop them either. But what confuses me is his interest in Jude. I don't understand where it came from but I guess I'll learn later on.

Okay that was very long winded but I wanted to explain the main characters. I technically did skip some but I can't explain them without spoiling so they'll come later. Mind this is not a full description just a summary of the characters in a sentence or two. I will go over backstory of the main character and her family in my next post, but for now this is all.

Hi again?

So I have an idea. I want to review things, such as tv shows, books, songs, etc. These are all things I enjoy and think it would be a fun way to share my opinion on those things. If there are spoilers to the book or show I will put a warning at the beginning of the post. As well as any other necessary warnings about the content. Also I have to read for school so this will hopefully give me more motivation to read properly.

Yo, so um hi?

I don't know how to do introductions well.

I'm probably not going to be that active on here but I wanted to use it to publish any short stories I may write. There is one that I want to but first I'm going to review it as I wrote it a few years ago.

I'll also post any ideas that I have for stories. If you want to use it, please ask me first as I need to decide if I am going to continue it myself.

Please tell me what I can review in my writing as I am very much not a professional. I am mainly doing this for fun and also to improve my typing.
