I absolutely adore your Regulus and James. James is not perfect. He is angry and I love it! It is really difficult (almost impossible) to read a different personality other than the always happy and perfect little sunshine. This is gold. WE LOVE A NOT FLAWLESS JAMES.

And Regulus, he is so- I don't even know how to describe it. He is so interesting and elegant, I really love it. And the dynamic of these two. AHHHHHHH.

Anyway, I just really want to congratulate you for this incredible story. I really love it. And I hope we can read more of it soon!

I just wanted to let you know that my partner (who is extremely jamescoded) also gaslights themselves (and me) into believing that i have green eyes while they're clearly hazel, to the point of writing poetry about them. I just laughed so much when I read your author's notes about eye colors. Keep doing what you do!

I never used to leave comments but since I got into the habit of commenting on everything i enjoy it's been incredible. Especially when the author gets back to me about it and we get to have a discussion of what other ideas they had. One writer replied to my comment with a 5 paragraph essay detailing the Floorplan of the building the characters lived in and it was incredible

Anyways this is all to say that if you find a fic that just makes you want to scream from the rooftops, leave a comment saying that to the author and maybe they will join you and you can scream incoherently together

i can't quite believe i have to clarify this. but. when people say "you shouldn't criticize fanfiction" they are not trying to imply that you *can't*. people always snap back with "well it's on the internet so i can criticize it if i want to" and yes, obviously you can. but i think you might be confusing opportunity with justification. like. yes, fanfic authors give you the opportunity to criticize them by posting something online. but that doesn’t automatically justify you doing it. you're still an asshole for deciding to use that opportunity to needlessly ruin someone’s day. because there is no justifiable reason to tell an author everything you hate about their work. it achieves absolutely nothing. does not in anyway progress the human race. you just want to make someone feel small. and you *can* absolutely do that. but it's a weird fucking hobby my guy.

does anyone else constantly conflate the fanon version of regulus black that’s been created with the (canon) version of nico di angelo?

like maybe it’s just bc i was both a percy jackson and a harry potter kid (haven’t read percy jackson in quite a few years tho i need to do a reread before that nico/will book comes out), but like… in my mind they are the same. like obviously they have different backgrounds, but i’m like “ah, yes. that gay, moody, brunette with family issues who had a big crush on the very charismatic slightly older guy.”

not to mention the obvious fact that if anyone ever wrote a jegulus (or even just a marauders) percy jackson au then regulus would for sure be a son hades!

pretty good :) very boring tho to be honest lol. regardless, i feel really blessed to be making a good amount of money in a job that isn't 100% fulfilling as opposed to previously making barely minimum wage at a job that wasn't 100% fufilling.
